All SU related asks will be handled first! The blog will not be changing overnight until the inbox has been (at the very least mostly) cleared.

SU will, of course, stay on the fandom list. I might even keep the layout or something?? Trying to figure out theming if things get changed.

(Tagging style will stay the same, tho. That's been very convenient.)

If the blog somehow is voted to not be changed, periods of inactivity may still happen!! Fair warning! I want to get back into writing, but I'll be honest: I need funding help as well, still. (This is a part of a longer, personal story I may get into later.)

Oooohh, first time trying the poll function...

So-! I'm back, and with a twist. Asking you all...how you'd feel if I opened up the fandoms I accept? As in, instead of just writing for SU, I also wrote for L&DS, LoZ, Marvel / DC Comics, and so on!

On the downside, this will be locking out fanfic content, aka "x Reader" content. That will be primarily directed to my fandom blog, [AkitheShinigami]. However, this will give me some room to do more IC interactions!!

(Admittedly, that has always been a feature on this blog, but no one has used, for some mysterious reason...)

   Hello, dear followers! I’m still alive somehow!

   Wanted to do an update that I will be working on the inbox again- doing my best to clear it out- and... I’m having financial trouble behind the scenes (long story, that) and wanted to ask...

   If I put my Ko-Fi link, say, in the blog’s header, would you be willing to tip occasionally for my writing? No pressure! Gosh, never any pressure to do so, but... It’d help keep a struggle artist + enby fed while also looking for an apartment. As well, I can expedite rqs that have tips funding them. (EX: sending an imagine through Ko-Fi or telling me “I requested [imagine]” and I will do that rq first, over others in the ask box)

   Would that be something anyone would be alright with...? I hate to ask for help, but I’m officially in a Not Great spot and anything would be deeply appreciated.

Blue is- let’s be honest- the most accepting Diamond on getting a human partner. (Secondly only to Rose, who started and then never stopped.)

She loves how tiny you are. Blue always feels like she has to be gentle when holding you, but she doesn’t mind at all.

You, however, are melting into a puddle cause she looks at you with the softest eyes when she mentions how small you are and how cute you look and- Look, lady, I love you, but my heart can’t handle this right now--

Hair hammock is for you whenever you want it. It’s usually an easy way to transport gems instead of forcing them to jog/run alongside her, but now it’s all for you. (If you’re okay with it, feel free to share with Spinel, though; she gives good cuddles and could always use another friend.)

Feel free to sleep in the hair hammock. Blue will provide you a blanket.

Sings so lovely for you. It’s a wonder why they ever had pearls with a voice like that. Calms you down, lulls you to sleep, makes you smile... Whatever she starts to sing for, you can’t help but relax.

Blue would absolutely be the type to want to do “around the universe” dates. Basically going to all the most picturesque scenes on Earth and then off-world with you.

You taught her how to love Earth, life, and living things so, so much more. She always reminds you how she can’t thank you enough for that. (Usually while gently nuzzling you.)

Has installed a pocket in her favorite cloak for you to sit in/relax in. It’s smooth (like silk) and cozy. Napping in there is usually inevitable. (Blue thinks it’s so. Dang. Cute.)

You need sleep? Blue will go to sleep, too, then!

She looks gorgeous when she sleeps, you find out.

Explain the concept of marriage to her. Do it, and you’ll eventually get a Diamond who’s begging any Bismuth who’ll listen if they’ll make a Diamond-sized ring. Also, another one to fit on your finger. They must match. Please?

You will cry on your wedding day. Blue dresses like a goddess and holy shit, this is illegal, your poor, weak heart can’t handle how gorgeous she is; sEND HELP-

She’s just so lovey-dovey. You’re in the best hands with Blue Diamond.

Jasper with an S/O who gets really afraid of bees, please?

...She understands nothing right now.

You are far, far bigger than a bee. Surely no matter how many of those suckers exist in their “hives”, you’d be better and stronger than all of those puny earth-creatures, right?

Being afraid of bees sounds stupid. (No offense to you, because she loves you a LOT and will protect you from the bees, don’t get her wrong. She just doesn’t see what there is to be scared of.)

However.... Introduce her to the view (if you can handle it) of wild bees? Searching for a place to settle a hive?

...Jasper starts getting a clue.

Seeing how hives are handled?? With smoke and protective gear?! She’s beginning to realize bees are the Earth’s most powerful enemy! No wonder you fear them!!!! What might!

Kinda is weird that she ends up admiring them, but Steven’s just glad she apparently kills less bees (which she did a LOT of at first) and eventually starts to like them.

Badass warriors who will die trying to kill an intruder... She respects that.

But no bees are allowed near you. Don’t worry about that!

May I request headcanons for Yellow Diamond showing affection to a really anxious/fidgety human? Thank you so much--!

Had it not been for Steven forcibly pointing out the flaws in each “perfect” Diamond, Yellow’s pretty sure she would’ve been frustrated with you. Her old self had no time for anxieties and hemming and hawing over nothing.

Now, however... She’s still tough- that’s just her personality- but she’s a lot more patient with you than you might expect of her.

Yellow is one of two ways with you: forcefully encouraging (in an attempt to get you to overcome your fears) or defensive (in an attempt to protect you from whatever’s working you up).

This relationship takes a LOT of work (and help from Blue) to work smoothly, but Yellow’s nothing if not a quick thinker and fond of routines.

If you need something? She’ll get it for you in a snap.

Scared of heights? She’ll only handle you when she’s laying back, seated, or otherwise in a way that will keep you comfortable and away from any sort of triggers to your anxiety.

Got “friends” who make you feel bad? An ex who won’t leave you alone? Don’t worry darling, Yellow will keep you safe! Nothing keeps bad people away more than having a near 30-foot tall gem ruler as your girlfriend!!

Also, Blue and White Diamond naturally have your back, too. A partner of Yellow’s is a friend of theirs, after all!

You’ll also likely have your own space in Yellow’s room...or, more accurately, your own spaces around Yellow’s room. Many options of places to sleep, a bathroom installment, a kitchen handled by a few culinary gems... Stuff like that.

Her public affection tends to go barely farther than carrying you around and proudly proclaiming you her partner. Not really one for public PDA, even now...

But once back in her room, she’s very gentle and likes cuddles. Mostly because you’re so small, so laying anywhere you wish feels comforting to her. Gentle kisses, too... Though her favorite is you napping on her while she re-reads old reports from Era 1 and 2. Mostly for nostalgia’s sake...

She’ll show you Pink’s old drawings, too, if you ask her. You get to know her and who she was, too.

   I PROMISE this blog isn’t dead. Though perhaps the same cannot be said of my heart... Which is still hurtin’ over SU Future ending.

    Are we all doing okay? Who needs hugs? Hot cocoa and blankets? Pillows, anyone?

   Anyways, I’ll be getting to requests later today (or hopefully in the next hour; I’m getting ridiculously preoccupied trying to play “catch up” on four or five different fronts), but I would like to make an announcement that requests will be answered more slowly than even I’d like....and here’s why:

   Up until a few months ago, my work laptop has been out of commission. My digital art, projects, RP icons, writings, scripts, and voice work....all on ice. Long story short, the motherboard somehow fried and a new one had to be gotten.

   I had a replacement laptop I was using on loan from my dad. It ended up hosting my Google Chrome acct and his- frozen- on there. Using this, I could log into TWO blogs at once! So I could roleplay with friends, answer asks here...and also be on my main blog, doing whatever I wanted.

   The work laptop is fixed now, and while that gives me the future possibility of doing a lot more for you guys (I can make icons on my own, do moodboards/aesthetics, and even draw once I fix my driver for my tablet)....this also means I can’t get to asks as fast as I’d like to. I’m hopping from one account to the other a lot slower here than I can on the other laptop.

   So if things aren’t be answered quick enough, that’s why. If I seem absent, that’s why. This blog is connected to my Official, so guaranteed it will NEVER be down for long, but... Just so you all are in the know!

   I realized this might be the best place to ask, so... Has anyone made Vidalia icons yet? I need it for personal reasons (aka my RP blog, @gemcourt​) and I haven’t had editing icon software in ages. Without it, work is dull, slow, and generally tedious.

   If anyone is open to requests, I’d adore that, but I also wouldn’t mind tipping someone for their work as well, once my paycheck comes in!

   Looking for young and current-day Vidalia, as well. Can find the episodes she stars in as added help, if that would be useful for you!

Could I request some headcanons for Rainbow Quartz 2.0 comforting a sad friend? I just love them so much :> Thank you! 💙

A friend? Upset?!? Oh no, now that just won’t do.

Their first matter of business is to strut on over and ask what’s wrong. They can’t help you as good if they don’t know what’s wrong!!

After that, they’ll start thinking up ways to best help distract you from your sadness...or find somewhere better to be so you can talk it out with them. Cry it out a little, too; there’s no shame in crying! Crying it out is good for you, actually.

Will do their best to hear you out and give advice, if needed.

However, if you need a distraction, there’s nobody better than Rainbow Quartz! They know plenty of ways to do just that.

First and foremost: doing tricks. RQ is such a showoff! Goofing around with tricks and some of them involving their umbrella.

Will probably wrangle you into the fun, so you don’t have to just watch them do all the fun stuff! Besides, helps to be distracted when you’re focusing on having fun, right?

Another favorite is taking you to scenic locations. Considering they’re compromised of Pearl, they don’t like eating...so going to the prettiest places will have to do!

But considering Steven’s equal influence, they might take you out for a sweet treat; like Big Donut or a bakery. They might even buy one for Steven, for later!

If there’s time for it, sunsets are the best.

And last, but surely not least, reminding you how wonderful you are. No matter what has you down, you’re amazing and someday, life will be wonderful for you... Until then Rainbow 2.0 is here to help you feel better~!

How about Jasper with a human who can transform into a demon? I've been playing Devil May Cry 5 a lot recently.

Oh, big same. DMC....good.

Something always did feel a little bit off about you. Jasper had just never been able to pinpoint it.

Supposedly you worked out a lot to get the strength you had...but that still never explained why you didn’t worry too much about injuries. Or why your eyes could reflect light when no other humans could.

But again, no...solid proof aside from scraps.

Also, Ronaldo annoyed her. He’d always assumed you were a part of the “sneeple” or...whatever. You both were committed to ignoring him.

However, it all goes to heck the next time a Planet Threatening Occurrence goes down again.

 Jasper was shocked to say the least when fire burst from your body, activating your devil side. You promised her you’d talk later, but wHAT DO YOU MEAN, LATER?! GET BACK HERE AND TALK TO HER NOW!!!!

It’s only after the fight- devil form disappearing- does Jasper just...let you have it.

There’s a LOT of questions as she tries to figure out what you are- if not human, like she first thought- and what this all...means. Gems don’t know about demons!!

Honestly, after a lot of questions and a whole learning curve... She’s pretty cool with it. Her S/O is a demon and that’s awesome.

Probably will start roping you into sparring matches with her. She wants to see who’s stronger!!

Gets a tad put-out when you win. Devil trigger or not.

Decides that it’s fantastic having an S/O who can kick her ass, but won’t, because you’re stronger together.

...Damn. If only it was possible to fuse with human-demons... Jasper’s pretty sure you’d be the best, most powerful fusion to ever exist~!

She doesn’t get why you burst into giggles. She just...reminded you of someone you met once, is all.

Cuddling is the best form of affection for Lapis, honestly. She can stare out at nothing or watch Camp Pining Hearts, and you’re in her arms. Very convenient.

She also likes the contact. Simple and comforting.

Perhaps her favorite is naps, though; her favorite way to cuddle you for naps or bedtime is to lay on her back, you half-spread over her.

Likes messing with your hair. Long to medium length hair? Curls it a little around her finger. Shorter hair? She’s most likely massaging your scalp. Uses the sensation of your hair poking against/winding around her fingers as comfort.

Romantically involved? Kisses. At random points during the cuddles. Maybe a few affectionate words as she thinks of them.

Hand holding for sure. Another very comforting touch.

Jasper and Peridot would react the same way, honesty: say “Oh, okay,” and change their pronouns towards you and...that’s it.

Gems are NB too, after all! Most just prefer she/her pronouns. There’s definitely been others who enjoy they/them, though. Even he/him! It’s not exactly news to them.

Still..... If anyone tries to start beef with you over it- calling you fake, asking for attention, “special snowflake,” whatever- they’re gonna be mad. Nobody disrespects you like that!!!

That’s what bothers them the most, in the end. Other humans who don’t know how to respect your pronouns or try to invalidate you. You don’t deserve that at all and they hate to hear it.

Peridot’s a lot of biting words and yelling, but Jasper... Keep an eye out for her. She might actually bash some heads if she feels like they deserve it. (Don’t do that!! If they die, that’s illegal!!!)

Sadie is the one who will be a little surprised, but encouraging. That’s awesome that you found that out about yourself!

If you didn’t already tell her, will ask if she needs to change pronouns for you...? What’s up; if it makes you comfortable, she’ll work with it!

She tries to show it off as a letter opener, but it slices right though like a prime exacto knife. You laughed so hard and Bismuth...was a little embarrassed, honestly.

If you’re a human, she makes up for your inability to visit the forge by making you lots of cool stuff. Mostly weapons to hang around your home as usable decoration, but also any kind of jewelry you might want, too.

Anxious about doing something? Bismuth will come with you! It’s no problem; you mean a lot to her, so she’s happy to help out!

Besides, that comes with other perks... Kevin or some other jerkwad starts bothering you? Bismuth shapeshifts her hand into an axe and glares.
