I love the lines “The word got around, they said ‘This kid is insane, man’/ took up a collection just to send him to the mainland” in the opening number of Hamilton, because they could either mean “This kid has so much potential and we should raise money to give him an opportunity to shine” or “This guy’s kind of confusing and a handful and possibly crazy and we should pool together money to get him off our island.”

Both of which are plausibly true of Alexander Hamilton.

Every time new episodes of Stranger Things drop and my Murray/Alexei fic suddenly starts gaining kudos, my first thought is always:

...Oh, God, what has Murray done NOW. 😅

(Then again, these days it could be because the popularity of that hockey show with the hot Russian guy reminds people of the last ship they had featuring a curly-haired hot Russian asshole, so who's to say?)
