Do you think anyone would have pets? And if yes, what kind of pet and how do they take care of it?

Maki: It would take some convincing from her partner to get a pet. She doesn’t like the idea of cleaning up after an animal, but after awhile, Maki warms up to the idea of a small dog. She would prefer a Japanese spitz, a small lap dog as a companion. 

Yuta: He’d get a hamster. They’re smart and cute, and he’d be all about feeding them seeds and watching them stuff it all in their mouth. He’d put his little buddy in his front pocket! 

Hisomu: He’s a snake kind of guy. They’re adorable, low maintenance, and a little misunderstood. Ball python would be the kind he’d get, and he’d take it out once a week or so to let the little snake sit on his shoulders. 

Chidori: Rabbits are adorable and she’d keep that little guy pampered with a super nice spacious cage. She’d let the rabbit roam free, but she’d also keep a super close eye on him, mother-henning over little things like keeping it’s litter box spotless. She’d also feed him strawberries as a treat! 

Katsuhira: He’d get a cat from a shelter, a grown cat who needs a good home. He’d enjoy trying to entertain them, but with his luck he’d get a cat who would be more interested in bothering him at inconvenient times than playing. Katsuhira would love the cat regardless and it would always be there to warm his lap as he watched tv. 

Nico: She’d be all about cats for sure. She’d buy little outfits for her cat and try and dress them up and they’d put up with it for like five seconds before wiggling out of it. As a thank you for her cat’s patience, Nico would give her cat a treat and lots and lots of pets. She would probably take a million pics and selfies with her cat. 

Tenga: Once he got his own place and his life stabilized, he’d love to adopt an older cockatoo, maybe one that was rescued from a sanctuary. There’s just something about those birds that he relates to. 

Sonozaki: She’d like a koi pond. The atmosphere is calming and she’d have a lot of fun feeding them. She’d spend time pondside, naming them all and describing their personalities.

Do you have any headcanons for Yuta, Tenga and Hisomu?

Yuta: - he has an eating disorder. He will binge eat on sweets, but then not eat for days to try and balance that. It’s incredibly unhealthy and it’s something he’s working on fixing. 

- He likes to play handheld games when he’s home alone. He likes Pokemon and the Fire Emblem games. He only plays at home because he doesn’t want his classmates to think he’s a nerd. 

- Along with an eating disorder, Yuta has body image problems. He wants to start working out a little bit. 

Tenga: - His home life is terrible and he tries to avoid going home at all costs. He’s spends the night at Katsuhira’s house when he can, but he’s also slept on park benches and has spend the night in playground equipment before they met. 

- His fear of dogs stems from a time he was bitten by one as a child. He’s had nightmares ever since and has never grown out of the fear. 

- He has amazing thighs from working out at the highschool’s free gym. 

Hisomu: - he cuts his own hair. Not because he doesn’t have the money for a haircut, but because he likes to. Hisomu likes the choppy effect that he gets. 

- He eats horribly. Like junk food and sweets all the time. His fast metabolism keeps him slim, but he’s not really healthy. 

- He leaves the wrappers around his room. His house is pretty damn messy and he hates cleaning. It’s boring.

What are the Kiznaivers like/what do they do when they're sick?

Maki: Like a responsible person, she gets bed rest when she feels like she needs it. Maki is kind of adorably helpless when she’s sick because she seems like she can handle herself when she’s well. 

Yuta: Whine. Thats what he does. He’s the kind to ring a bell when he needs something but wont stop ringing it. 

Hisomu: He sleeps off illness and then it’s totally gone. Like, he’ll get sick, sleep for 20 hours, then feel totally absolutely better like nothing even happened. 

Chidori: She basically treats herself like she would if someone else was sick. She takes her own temperature, takes medication, and then will prescribe herself bed rest until she’s better. 

Katsuhira: Chidori has a sense about her and can tell when Katsuhira is catching a cold, so even when he thinks he’s well enough to get up and around, Chidori orders him to stay in bed. She’ll make him tea and he’ll tell her she doesn’t have to do literally any of this. 

Nico: She gets so bored when she’s sick in bed, so she tries to pretend she’s not sick at all. Of course this never works because her dad is a doctor. 

Tenga: He gets kind of grouchy and grumbly. When he’s sick, everything starts aching and Tenga gets snippy and frowny until someone tells him to take medicine and go to bed. 

Sonozaki: She still gets business done, that is until she passes out. When she’s sick she will push herself too far until she’s literally unable to do anything but lay in bed.

If your still doing it match ups? I'm 25 male I swing both ways. Long blue hair,glasses, alot of tats (15 ha) sarcastic, blunt, abrupt, little time for bs. Kinda messed up humor but would do anything fir a friend. A loving jerk I guess.

He also swings both ways, so you two would be compatible on that front, but he also has the endless patience to deal with your personality. Any sarcasm or curt reply would roll off his back and he wouldn’t really mind. If it were someone else, they may get put off by your manner of speech, but Hisomu would meet it with a smile. 

Hisomu would also love your twisted sense of humor and match it with his own. Anyone listening in on a conversation with the two of you may get offended haha. Tattoos would be pretty damn interesting to Hisomu, and I bet after seeing yours, he’d want a couple of his own.

What would the main 8s reaction be when they find weird fanfiction and fanart of themselves?

Maki: Oh my god she’d kind of like it. I mean, she probably writes fanfic herself so she’s impressed and vaguely happy about it. So long as it wasn’t too weird. 

Yuta: Weird fanart wouldn’t faze him and he’d be pretty elated to have such a big fan. Yuta is vain so he’d hang it on his wall. 

Hisomu: He’d be interested by it if it was really weird. Like give him the strangest stuff please and he’ll be fascinated by it. It’s kind of a visual stimulation to have a piece of weird art staring himself. 

Chidori: She would be horrified get it away. It’s super freaky that someone drew fanart of her and although they were probably trying to be nice, its just weirding her out. 

Katsuhira: He’d just be confused. Why would someone make this? I mean cool that they have an artistic flair and stuff, but why? Kinda creepy. 

Nico: She would love fanart of herself even if it’s strange! Pls draw her in cute outfits though because that would be amazing and she’d love you forever. 

Tenga: He’d hate fanart. First off no one can get his hair up to his standards (”make it bigger!” he’d say) and second off no one would draw him handsome enough. That and the fan creations would be weird and he just wouldn’t understand. 

Sonozaki: She would look at the fanwork and then directly hand it back to the person she got it from with a disapproving look. No comments after that, just disapproval.

nicoxtenga 7, 9, 12, 19, 23, 26 please

7: Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes? Nico wears Tenga’s clothes, mostly his shirts. She stole that yellow one with the bear on it and likes to wear that to bed. Tenga loves it because she looks extra cute in his big shirts. 

9: Which one drives the car and which one gives them directions? Nico drives the car and Tenga gives directions, but the directions he gives are terrible. He’ll sound totally confident for awhile until Nico realizes that he has no damn idea where they are or where they need to go. 

12: Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking? Tenga can overdo it with alcohol, but Nico is also drunk and doesn’t really stop him. She just giggles and encourages him actually. 

19: How good would your OTP be at parenting?Nico is the silly mom type and Tenga would be the papa bear. Tenga roughhouses with the kids and teaches them how to do chores, and Nico shows them how to be creative and how to express themselves. They both give their kids loads of attention, maybe even too much. 

23: Who comes home from work to see that the other one bought a puppy? Nico wouldn't bring home a dog because Tenga is afraid of them, so when Tenga brings home a puppy who’s been hurt it’s a surprise to her. He can’t just leave it hurt outside, and even if it still makes him nervous, he has to help it. 

26: Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder? Nico takes the selfie of course, complete with a drooling sleeping Tenga and heart stickers around the both of them.

Yuta x Tenga 1, 2, 4, 21, 24, 26 (I love them too & your headcanons are perfect!)

Thank you a ton! I could write all day about these two tbh

1: Who spends almost all their money on the other? Yuta is pretty loaded so it would be hard for him to spend all of his money, so it’s Tenga who becomes broke from spending on Yuta. After a couple trips to the ice cream parlor Tenga opens his wallet to find dust inside. Holy shit having a boyfriend is expensive. 

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap? Tenga’s thighs are surprisingly nice, so Yuta requests to lay on them from time to time. Yuta will also give him shit for having comfortable thighs, but after Tenga threatens to push him away Yuta will shut up. 

4: Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway? Tenga loses track of time easily when he’s engrossed in something, like a video game. Yuta likes to go to bed early and will remind Tenga to do the same, but Tenga wants to play one more round…. and then the next time he looks at the clock it’s 4 am. Fuck. 

21: Who gets attacked by a bully and who protects them? Neither are the type to attract bullies, but if a bully were to choose one to attack, it would be Yuta since he’s less intimidating. We all know how Tenga feels about bullies, so that would end up being a bad time for the person who’s picking on Yuta. Tenga’s temper would get the better of him and the bully would leave with bruises and Tenga’s knuckles would be sore. 

24: Which one gives the other a piggyback ride when they’re tired? The idea of thin Yuta giving tall, muscle bound Tenga a piggyback ride is hilarious and probably wouldn’t work that well or at least for very long. Tenga has an overabundance of stamina, so Yuta would be the one getting tired and getting a piggyback ride. At first Tenga would just pick him up to throw him over his shoulder, but as per Yuta’s shrieking request, he’d move him to a piggy back position because it’s way less embarrassing. 

26: Who takes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder? Yuta absolutely. Tenga’s sleeping expressions are hilarious and he would immediately whip out his phone to snap a picture for future innocent blackmail and for a contact picture.

Aw man were these two adorable in the last ep or what?

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap? So Yuta tries to lay down in Maki’s lap all the time and she has none of it. He’ll lay his head down with this big smile like it’s some big treat and she will immediately know something is up and push him off. She’s not the type to coddle him like that. But when Maki is exhausted Yuta will pull her in close and she’ll be the one to fall asleep on his shoulder, and then maybe move down to lay her head on his lap. 

4: Which one tells the other not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway? Maki has insomnia from time to time, and Yuta will try and get her to go to sleep. Sometimes it doesn’t work and she’ll be up most of the night anyway. 

8: Which one spends all day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?” Yuta strangely likes running errands. The sweet old lady at the post office tells him he’s handsome, he likes to shop, and he always runs into a couple people he knows. Maki will give him a list if necessary, but she’ll call to double check to make sure he grabbed the important stuff. 

12: Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking? Oh my god Yuta is a disaster. He’s just a sloppy embarrassment of a dunk. His inhibitions go out the window and he gets kind of loud, confidence skyrocketing and just being a mess. Maki actually thinks its hilarious so she lets him drink until she knows he’s going to have a massive hangover the next day. 

19: How good would your OTP be at parenting? Pretty damn good. Maki would be calm, stern, and caring. She would foster independence. When her child falls down and gets a scrape on their knee, they turn to Maki first. When the kid wants to get away with something, they turn to Yuta. He would be weak to his children and would let them off the hook when they got in trouble, and he would buy them sweets to spoil them. Luckily Maki would let him know if he doted on them too much and their parenting would be pretty balanced. They would both read a ton of books about how to raise a child and go to parenting classes before the child was born. 

30: If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures? They would go to Hawaii to shop and enjoy the island. It’s a pretty economical destination, and they both would really appreciate the luxury experience. They would spend about half of the time checking out boutiques and the other half enjoying the weather and food. Yuta would take most of the pictures, but later on after their trip is over, Maki is the one who stored more memories to bring up for reminiscing.

oooo Katsuriko 2, 5, 11, 30 please!

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap? Katsuhira likes to sleep in Noriko’s lap. Although she’s not skilled at comforting, just her presence is calming to Katsuhira. She’s a little stiff when he lays his head in her lap, but Katsuhira will take her hand and place it on his head and she’ll start to play with his hair. 

5: Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies? Katsuhira doesn’t have a lot of experience in cooking, so he doesn’t bother cooking. Noriko also doesn’t have any experience since she has had caretakers most of her life, but she also is the first to put an effort toward cooking. She absolutely burns it, but Katsuhira doesn’t hold it against her since he can’t do any better. 

11: If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips? Noriko seems more acrobatic so I’m betting that she would be the one doing backflips or falling off tall places. Katsuhira would be the one waltzing through with chips because someone has to spot for Noriko and watch out for the cops. 

30: If your OTP went on vacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take the pictures? They would go somewhere secluded and natural, perhaps that summer retreat lodge, since it’s also somewhere familiar. They would bring some food with them and just enjoy quiet time. Their pictures would be of the nature around the lodge, and a few candid pictures of each other. Katsuhira would take the first one of Noriko when she’s sleeping as a joke, but then Noriko would get him back taking an embarrassing picture of him falling into a stream. This would quickly turn into a competition.

3: Who walks around the house half-naked and who yells at them to put on some clothes?  TENGA. He’s always walking around shirtless, thinking he’s gonna impress someone by flexing. Well Yuta is a little impressed because Tenga has a nice body, but put on some goddamn clothes Tenga what the hell this is just a distraction. 

6: Which one reads OTP prompts and says “Oh that’s us!” and which one goes “Eh, not really”?  In Tenga’s head, Yuta is more delicate than he actually is. Of course he doesn’t think that he’s delicate like a girl, but he definitely sees himself as the prince in his fantasies when this isn’t the case. He’ll read an OTP prompt and will say “Oh you’re the damsel in distress and I’m the knight in shining armor.” And Yuta replies, “Not really, you’re the damsel because you’re always in distress.” 

12: Which one of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stop drinking?  Yuta. When he drinks it’s an absolute disaster. He can’t handle alcohol and he’s just a sloppy mess. It’s up to Tenga to carry him home over his shoulder at the end of the night and to help nurse the hangover the next morning. 

15: Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside?  Both. Both are screaming. Yuta and Tenga have to move out. The spider remains forever its the spiders apartment now. Maybe after evacuating the apartment for an hour, they call up Hisomu or Katsuhira to take care of it. 

18: Who’s the first one to admit they have feelings for the other? Tenga came out and said it first, but it took Yuta awhile to figure out that Tenga wasn’t just messing with him. He couldn’t take Tenga seriously at first because he wanted to make sure Tenga figured out his feelings were genuine and not just some confused friendship feelings. After the confession, Yuta started to notice Tenga acting differently, like trying to impress him and blushing at accidental touches. 

22: Who makes the bad puns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun? Tenga makes the puns and pats himself on the back every time a good one comes out. Yuta smiles handsomely and says something teasing and patronizing like “you’re very clever, aren’t you?” Tenga’s reaction is always wroth it.

5: Which one tries to make food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells them that it’s okay and makes them both cookies? Nico has some cooking aptitude but Hisomu burns everything he tries to cook. He gets distracted and bored of waiting and it ends up getting burnt. Nico thinks its endearing that he doesn’t cook well, but she takes it upon herself to teach him how to be patient and how to cook better.

7: Which one constantly wears the other’s clothes? Nico is always wearing Hisomu’s clothes, even though her own clothes are much nicer. It’s comforting to wear his clothes.

11: If they were about to rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one is strolling behind with a bag of chips? Nico is absolutely the one doing backflips through lazers. Hisomu is lazier and much more laid back, waiting for her to disarm any alarm system before he ambles on into the museum, pausing to check out some of the cool exhibits. This whole robbing a museum thing isn’t even his idea, he’s just along for the ride.

14: Which one keeps accidentally using the other’s last name instead of their own? Nico has this thing about names and closeness, so as they progress in their relationship, the casually doodles her own name with Hisomu’s all the time. Sometimes she’ll slip up and write his last name instead of her own when signing something, but she quickly gets flustered. Not yet, not yet.

15: Which one screams about the spider and which one brings the spider outside? Nico is easily excitable, so she’s screaming about the spider, no matter how small. Hisomu weirdly likes spiders?? and wont allow anything bad to happen to his little buddy.

22: Who makes the bad puns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun? Hisomu walks right into Nico’s puns. He’ll say something serious and she’ll make this terrible pun out of it, together with a ba-dum tish and a wink and Hisomu will just give a strained smile and a sigh.

the kiznaivers reactions to watching a horror movie?

I totally want a drabble where they all watch scary movies and have a sleepover 

Maki:  So long as shes analyzing the elements of the story, she wont get scared.  When she does get scared, it’s when she gets sucked into the story. Her heart will start beating fast, and her jaw will tighten, and she’ll grip the arm of her chair, or the arm of whoever she’s with. 

Yuta: He’s usually able to keep his cool during scary movies. He’s seen a decent amount of horror movies since he’s been on quite a few dates with girls who want to see them. Hes practiced at keeping an even expression when something frightening happens. 

Hisomu: Only certain types of scary movies get to him. Violent movies are strangely interesting and fascinating to him, but ghost movies are the ones that really get to him. He’s totally the type to believe in ghosts and spirits! 

Chidori: She doesn’t handle scary movies well at all. She’s the type to have to get dragged into the theater and then will watch through her fingers. If the movie gets too intense she’ll curl up and hide her head and whoever she’s with will regret convincing her to go. 

Katsuhira: He’s pretty immune to horror and gore, but he’s jumpy when it comes to suspense. Because he can’t feel pain, gore and violence don’t phase him because he can’t relate, but when someone pops out of the shadows he’s vaulting out of his seat.

Nico: She gets excited to watch scary movies at first. She likes the expose and the lead in, but when it gets scary she starts to regret everything. She’s a shrieker and hides her face when scary things happen. She’ll start watching again with teary eyes, but when the movie is over she’ll say how much she liked it. It’s the same as a roller coaster ride, terrifying, but fun and worth it.

Tenga: He’ll watch with a nervous smile, trying to pretend that he’s not really bothered by the movie. The image of a tough guy is something that he clings to, so he has to really steel himself to not appear afraid. Deep down he’s screaming though when the guy with the chainsaw shows up.

Sonozaki: She’s so calm that scary movies don’t phase her. She’s that unreal person who doesn’t scream, doesn’t jump, and who is super chill eating popcorn through the movie. Everyone is in awe and kind of jealous of her resolve, but she just doesn’t get scared.

Absolutely! I love these two. They’re so awkward and cute and I just love head-canoning for them! 

3 - Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection? Nico is super open with pda and holding hands and kisses and just about everything, but Tenga gets way embarrassed. He's more comfortable giving her a casual pretend punch to the arm or at least glancing around first before kissing the top of her head. When Nico senses he's becoming nervous, she holds herself back and boops him on the nose to tease him. 

8 - What do the like best about their partner? Nico likes Tenga's fiery personality. She likes how he can get worked up about little things and goes off on tangents and uses wild gestures. That confidence gets her heart beating faster. Tenga likes how darn cute Nico is. When she's excited about something or when she sends him a little smile and looks at him with those big eyes he catches himself melting. 

23 - How do they hug? Kiss? Tease? Flirt? Comfort? Hugs are big and Tenga wraps his arms around her shoulders and she hugs his waist. For kisses he has to lean down pretty far and Nico likes to cup Tenga's cheek to keep him in place. She's always smiling against his lips. Teasing mostly comes from Tenga and Nico gets pretty flustered. Whenever he calls her cute she turns pink. Her flirting comes from little touches on his shoulder or by holding eye contact with him a little longer than usual and then giving a little smile. When Nico needs comforted, Tenga will pat her head and try and tell her it'll be alright. When that doesn't work he'll scoop her in his arms and carry her to the couch for a cuddle. When it's Tenga who's stressed, Nico will go for his shoulders and give him a back rub to soothe him. 

25 - How much time do they spend together? Do they share their feelings, or hold things in? Tenga avoids his family so he spends a lot of time at Nico's house when they get to that level of their relationship. They can be in the same room and spend time together without interacting directly and be fine with that. Sharing feelings took awhile for both of them. Tenga is afraid of what Nico thinks of him, and Nico was still pretty nervous from her crush on him. 

39 - Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first?  When did they realize they were in love? After her crush was outed, Tenga didn't outright reject her. Eventually he approached her and after an awkward conversation, they decided to go on a date and try it out. Tenga kissed Nico first and it was really obvious. He kept looking over at her and down to her lips and Nico immediately picked up on what was going on. Tenga realized he was in love when he kept catching himself smiling when Nico did something adorably silly. If anyone else was jumping around like that it would be obnoxious, but when she did it he couldn't help but watch with a helpless grin. Nico fell in love over time. Every time she saw Tenga's confident walk and that wide smile of his, she'd fall a little more.

1 - How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals? Hisomu and Nico love to spread out when they sleep. They wake up pretty tangled, with an arm and a leg draping over each other accidentally. Thankfully both of them are heavy sleepers so neither mind. 

7 - What annoys them the most about their partner? Would they change it if they could? They are both air headed about practical issues, so they both wish they could focus more on responsibility at times. Goofing off together caused them to fall in love, but sometimes someone needs to be the responsible one. 

9 - Do they discuss big issues? Religion? Marriage? Children? Death?Although they're both silly people, they're also surprisingly deep. Discussions over real issues are common, casual, and honest. Their viewpoints don't always line up, but they both respect each other's points. Nico is more of an idealist and Hisomu is a realist. 

12 - Is there a wedding? What was the proposal like? Any kind of honeymoon? The proposal was off the cuff. Hisomu didn't even have a ring yet, but as soon as he realized he wanted to marry her, he asked. Their wedding was quickly thrown together and a little crazy, but it was very them. No one's dresses matched, and their venue was a public park that they crashed without actually reserving. Luckily everyone brought something for food so there was a potluck, and Chidori baked cupcakes for a wedding cake. 

18 - What are their dates like? How long do/did they date? Do they ever feel the need to take a break from each other? Their dates were casual, but spur of the moment. They would agree to hang out, but then plan the date as they went. Want to go to an arcade? Want to go to the pool? Lets try all of the coffee places in town! Breaks come naturally. When either of them has had too much of the other, they don't hang out for a day or two maybe. Texting always makes up for that though. 

19 - What do they fight about? What are their arguments like? How do they make up? Their arguments are about teasing mostly. Hisomu finds Nico adorable and from time to time he'll tease her about something that hits too close. Of course he doesn't mean to hurt her feelings, but she'll tear up and then he'll feel horrible about it. He'll apologize with little kisses to her cheeks and forehead. He didn't mean it like that, promise.
