The incident happened during a concert in Kobe (Kansai) this July.
They were singing Coconut.
The management or whoever had an “ingenious” idea. They let the members walk along the catwalks (pic 2) during the song.
We are used to seeing such rendition in pro-wrestling bouts, and if my memory is correct, in Kabuki acts. The purpose is obviously to boost the exciting mood of the concert.
Shiori was moving along the catwalk. She was interrupted by a fan who began to molest her by touching her bodies.
Other wota (fans) followed it, they all began to molest her. According to reports, they were not only three or four. More of them.

The molestation was obviously a crime. But no one was sued, because it was impossible to identify the persons who committed.

Collective mind 群集心理 is a tricky thing. They are usually harmless when they are alone. Once they see a chance of bandwagon, they turn into beasts.
Besides, they are guys after all. If you are straight, healthy guys, you are either (1) オープンスケベ Open Sukebe or (2) むっつりスケベ Muttsuri Sukebe.
(1) Open Sukebe refers to people who are sukebe (ecchi suki) and are open about it.
(2) Muttsuri Sukebe refers to people who are sukebe in nature, but pretend as if they are not interested.
Either way, ordinary guys have total control of their sukebe-ness. They won’t say blatantly dirty jokes in public, let alone do molestation.
In a concert, aidoru are surrounded by beasts in disguise.
It’s not that all the fans gathered in their concerts are 100% sexually hungry guys. But I wouldn’t be surprised that there is a considerable percentage of such guys, who will fork up a lot of money to come to concert.
If you want to be aidoru, you need to know that there is risk as well as dreams, money fame and Mr right.
