My parents have yelled at me to “clean my room because we’re having company” many times in my life, but not once has the company come in my room.

There are people who are always in love with the sky, no matter the weather. One day you will find someone who’ll love you the same way.

The Justice and Education departments issued a joint guidance on how schools must follow federal law in regard to bathrooms, changing rooms, and other gender-related spaces.
The Obama administration took an unprecedented step towards equal access for transgender students today.
Every Title IX-compliant school in the country received a letter stating that if they want to continue to receive federal funding, they must provide trans students with equal access to bathrooms, sports teams and other programs.
In other words: schools cannot discriminate on the basis of gender identity. Here’s a clip from the letter:
As a condition of receiving Federal funds, a school agrees that it will not exclude, separate, deny benefits to, or otherwise treat differently on the basis of sex any person in its educational programs or activities unless expressly authorized to do so under Title IX or its implementing regulations. The Departments treat a student’s gender identity as the student’s sex for purposes of Title IX and its implementing regulations. This means that a school must not treat a transgender student differently from the way it treats other students of the same gender identity. The Departments’ interpretation is consistent with courts’ and other agencies’ interpretations of Federal laws prohibiting sex discrimination.
The Departments interpret Title IX to require that when a student or the student’s parent or guardian, as appropriate, notifies the school administration that the student will assert a gender identity that differs from previous representations or records, the school will begin treating the student consistent with the student’s gender identity. Under Title IX, there is no medical diagnosis or treatment requirement that students must meet as a prerequisite to being treated consistent with their gender identity. Because transgender students often are unable to obtain identification documents that reflect their gender identity (e.g., due to restrictions imposed by state or local law in their place of birth or residence), requiring students to produce such identification documents in order to treat them consistent with their gender identity may violate Title IX when doing so has the practical effect of limiting or denying students equal access to an educational program or activity.
A school’s Title IX obligation to ensure nondiscrimination on the basis of sex requires schools to provide transgender students equal access to educational programs and activities even in circumstances in which other students, parents, or community members raise objections or concerns. As is consistently recognized in civil rights cases, the desire to accommodate others’ discomfort cannot justify a policy that singles out and disadvantages a particular class of students.

SAY. IT. AGAIN.
How wild is it that every version of you probably exists still, somewhere, in someone’s memory? The messy you, crying on the floor exists still in your mind. The happy, sun-soaked you, exists in your best friend’s memory. No part of you has died, all parts of us exist always, simultaneously and hidden.
i cannot believe “if it fits, i sits” transcends boundaries in this way
all cats is the same
U ever think about someone and it turns ur insides into ur outsides ur so fragile and soft for them
I don’t trus anybody who loves family guy and South Park the min u tell me those are ur favorite shows my liking for u goes down 72%
I don’t trust anyone that takes cartoons so seriously.
Those “cartoons” instill bigotry, homophobia, and racism into middle schoolers’ minds and make them think that ignorance is fine as long as it’s “funny” and a “joke”. And those type of cartoon shows are the reason grown people think offensive “jokes” are fine as long as it makes a group of people laugh. Just cause it’s a cartoon doesn’t mean it teaches kids and even adults to be ignorant and racist. bye
Here’s the thing though, those cartoons are made for adults, and are, at their core level, for making political statements. You can’t deny someone the right to express themselves just because you can’t handle a joke. It would be racist if that was all they made fun of, but in my experience, those typed of shows make fun of literally everything. There is no discrimination in humor.
See this right here is a perfect example of why people who like Family Guy and South Park can’t be trusted.
If someone doesn’t find Conseula funny or a trope that constantly abuses a teenage girl funny, why don’t they have the right to say that they don’t enjoy the depiction of that media?
South Park was pretty popular when I was in school and I and other kids got bullied viciously because kids took what they learned from that show and used that to inflict abuse on other kids (and now the shows are even more graphic than they were back then). So, if a kid is being harassed, why don’t they have the right to judge those who are using South Park or Family Guy as a means of attack?
And at the core of things, critique of media is not a denial of rights. Critique of those who consume that media is not a denial of rights either. Where is the OP denying rights here? They are merely expressing a dislike and aversion to those who watch those shows.
Critique of media is not a denial of rights. Critique of those who consume that media is not a denial of rights either

I was asked to explain why I am in love with you but I thought it might be easier to explain what I love about you so that others can see what made me fall in love with you too I love the face you make when you’re thinking and you kinda pucker your lips I love that you hate driving without cruise control because I know you like to tap your feet and dance to your favorite songs while you drive I love when you make me take the wheel bc you really really wanna dance I love how you can’t have your feet uncovered by the blankets because you’re honestly scared a monster will get your toes I love when you wake up in the morning and decide everyone else should be awake too just because you are I love how much you love art, it’s never really made much sense to me but I know if I could I’d paint you and hang it next to all your favorite pieces and you’d put them all to shame I love that your smile always starts slowly from the corners of your lips and then erupts into the biggest and most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen I love that your laugh still sends shivers down my spine I love that when you kiss me I feel like everything will be okay and that even though I might not know what tomorrow will bring me, as long as I have you I’m the happiest person in the world I love how you always know how to cheer me up and that I can almost never turn down ice cream I love how you take care of me I love how you always look me in my eyes when you tell me you love me because I know you’re checking to make sure I believe you I love how you always support me in whatever I do I love the fact that I’ve never really been able to see a future for myself but when you say things like “we’re gunna live in that house!” or “I can’t wait to cook breakfast for you.. in my underwear” and will you still go on walks with me when we’re older?“ .. “you can walk all our dogs I’ll just hold your hand” I’ve never seen anything as clearly as that. the list of things I love about you could (obviously) go on and on.. but if you ask me why I am in love with you, I will tell you that being in love with you is inevitable, and I will be until I die
Okay but this hit me so hard.
im not crying i got something in my eye
