Really? This broad canât think of one time Jesus got in trouble with the law? Like, once? Where it maybe led to a pretty significant consequence? Not once?Â
Jesus didn't break the law in the normal sense of breaking the law. He was the dividend between the old law and the new. An example that immediately comes to mind is when he heals the man with the shrivvled hand, Mark 3:1-6. It was against the law to work on the sabbath, and healing would be considered work. Jesus immediatly responded with a question "Which is lawful on the sabbath, to do good or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?" Jesus was showing that the old laws were no longer neccesary because Jesus had come to settle their debt. The same debt that the old laws helped them deal with. While the bible points out that we should follow the law of the land, God's law is above all of it. Jesus always followed God's law first, which is far more righteous and just than any human law will ever be. The point is, it's not just about breaking laws, it's about a new generation of laws, to love others and to show compassion.
