I wonder why Taejon seems to be speaking a lot more (at least in interviews) about his androgyny? I mean with the exception of Move and Want Mv’s he doesn’t really dress or portray himself as androgynous in everyday life so I don’t get why that’s a fashion style he’s claiming?

Anyway. Taem has been dealing with people calling him pretty and feminine since the moment he debuted, and for a long time he expressed his discomfort in these types of situations. This went on until even PYN era where he told jjong on BNR that seeing people say that he “came back as a woman” was disheartening to him. Gender neutral/femininity didn’t use to be a choice for taemin, it was forced onto him by others, and they often treated it like a joke. The Move and Want eras showed that he finally was able to become not only comfortable, but empowered by his own femininity, and it’s a direction I hope he continues to explore. I am SO proud of him for redefining his own masculinity and finding comfort in more feminine sides of himself. It shows tremendous personal growth, and allows him to become a voice for a more modern and inclusive view of gender expression.
