I've tried getting help from Shreveport authorities to no avail. Patients are denied a grievance process at L.S.U. hospital where abuse of patients has been taking place. A staff member will testify to a patient being choked by U.P.D. while in restraints. Officer Gabe 280lbs. BLK/M was seen in the emergency room in an elderly woman's section with the curtain closed. She kept crying out, "please stop putting that in me". He assaults patients and causes them severe pain by twisting the arm behind their back. He says disgusting racist things and talks nasty while he's doing it. Mayor Adrian Perkins needs to look into this matter concerning the hospital in Shreveport and cruel treatment of patients. 318-673-5050 (mayor's number) 🆘 Check the mayor's Instagram... he's been notified of the abuse at the hospital for over a year on multiple social media platforms. I'd appreciate someone contacting me about this. L.S.U. needs to allow it's patients a way to report bad medical care so that these things do not fall on deaf ears. 😔 In Shreveport, La: When the police are called on people, they are sent to L.S.U. by default and will not let you go to a different place with proper care. They keep the 911 calls redirected to their hospital police so that if you report the abuse you will be punished and using the phone will not be permitted while you are there. All local news and radio stations have been reported to and various social media platforms have records in the form of screenshots dating back multiple years as this information has also been emailed as well. People are willing to testify in a court of law if needed to prevent this from happening to future patients. IF ANYONE SEES THIS, PLEASE TELL SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP. The MAYOR & POLICE DEPARTMENT have been told numerous times and they appear to be refusing to address the ongoing abuse of L.S.U. patients. Avoiding medical liability and public outrage seems to be more important than the citizen's quality of health care. 😫
