So I have had a major fall this year. I gave entrance exam this year for medical college and scored 368/720 and the reason I wrote my score is to make a peace with it and move on. Also I'm writing this so that I can remind myself from where I started when I read it after an year and this post is a promise that I'm making with myself is to score 638/720. Also this is me dealing with failure so if you have advice do comment.ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

If you can't make yourself do something even though you really want to and if not being able to do the thing in question is causing you distress, then you're not just "being lazy." Laziness is a choice. Laziness is comfortable. Laziness is when it doesn't matter to you whether something gets done or not. If you're not comfortable not doing something, then what's happening inside your brain is more complex than just laziness.

I honestly feel like this year has been so hard on me. I just feel like I'm hard on myself. But I really don't want to be in this vicious cycle of thinking bad about myself so would really focus on being good to myself and just living life. Oh also I want to build a routine for myself so would work on that.(◍•ᴗ•◍)

sometimes self-care is muting your friend's story because theyre posting about hanging out with someone who hurt you. sometimes self-care is consistently doing the homework your therapist assigned you. refusing to check who has viewed your story, turning off notifications for all social media apps, forgiving yourself every time your mental health issues get in the way of living your life--- i think all these things are self-care. youre doing so well. we'll make it out alive, me and you. i love you.
