Send me what my Thingâąïž on Tumblr is. What am I known for?

âLike what?â He asked curiously not lifting his head. They both donât need to eat and the least time he was in one they didnât sell clothes. Maybe something to clean up with? Or patch themselves up?
A bandage couldnât fix their scrapes and cuts.. He didnât mind though. Daniel could carry him anywhere and Evan would be happy. Because Daniel would be there.
Daniel shrugged with the shoulder that wasnât being used as a pillow for Evanâs head. Convenient stores were usually more convenient for humans than for androids. Snack foods, and other foods for last minute cooking essentials, some soft toys and candy for kids, magazines, et cetera.
âIt may have car tools and the like. Could be handy having a small tool kit for personal repairs.â The only problem was they both had their LEDs. Theyâd have to hide it. Daniel didnât exactly want to remove the piece. He didnât want to pretend to be like one of the humans. He was humane, had emotions like them, but he was better than them. He didnât want to tell Evan to take his off either unless he really wanted to. Theyâd need a disguise. There had to be a charity bin somewhereâŠ
âAn android first aid kit.â He joked softly trying to lighten mood. Evan sat up fully. He was trying to think of what else they might find useful. âWell.. Some have hats. Iâve seen hats..â He never really put much thought into what were in them. Just kinda held Joyâs hand till they were done shopping, trying not to look the cashier in the eye.
Richard argued with the man behind the counter about something, in his opinion, that was silly. Prices for some kind of item, that didnât pertain to Evan specifically. Like some kind of drink.Â
"Pop quiz! Who is presumed to have first signed the United States Declaration of Independence?"
"That's George Washington!" Evan said enthusiastically. He got anxious when Daniel exclaimed 'pop quiz'. Worried he wouldn't have the answer and disappoint him. But it was one he knew. "My favorite is Theodore Roosavelt and my second favorite is Abraham Lincoln." He smiled gleefully up at the other android.
imitationchildâ:
âOh.. Okay.â He could understand that. Short legs and a bad knee would definitely hinder them. Specially thanks to Danielâs height advantage. He wasnât going to complain cause he was being held.
So Evan lightly rest his cheek on the adult maleâs shoulder and gazed ahead of them. Only marginely loosened his grip on him from a âi donât want to fallâ to one a son would do to a father who he has faith in.
Daniel felt the grip lessen as Evan got comfortable. It made his chest feel a little tight from within though as an old emotion coursed through his systems. He had not thought it possible to feel that emotion again, especially so soon after meeting Evan. He had to be more careful.
âShould we risk going to a 7/11? We could probably buy some supplies thereâŠâ Buy was a term he used loosely. He was still connected to the Philips bank account, no doubt things had made Caroline forget to remove him. While she could refute and ask for the money back after he had bought items, heâd still effectively have them. So it wasâŠ. partially stealing. Only partially.

Daniel lifted up Evan. Truth be told he didnât have much of a reason to do so. They didnât need to sprint to safety because there had been some threatening looking humans. He just⊠had. Instinctively. He used to do the same with Emma after all. But upon realising that Evan was probably thinking why he had done so, he quickly came up with an answer.
âYou were walking too slowly.â It was a little unfair. Evan couldnât help that he was designed like a child with shorter legs than an adult. He should tell the truth, but he found it a little awkward to confess feelings when they could be dashed so easily. Plus, he hadnât known Evan for very long.
"Oh.. Okay." He could understand that. Short legs and a bad knee would definitely hinder them. Specially thanks to Daniel's height advantage. He wasn't going to complain cause he was being held.

Nearly jumping at the invitation, he moves to sit with him, probably closer then he should but Evan doesnât really care at the moment. If heâs asked of course heâll move. Evanâs a polite kid after all. âI-itâs a little cold, I mean Iâm a little cold and one of my legs is sticking.â He did sit in one spot for pretty much eight months straight. âBut uhm.. Everything else.â He pulled his knees up to his chest all the same though. As if itâd bring him warmth.Â
âItâs nice to meet you, Daniel. Even under the circumstances.â Evanâs like a stray puppy just looking for anyone to show him affection or say a kind word to him. Daniel probably doesnât need that. Heâs got more important things to worry about..
He had been used to being alone for a few weeks, or was it months now, and yet when the kid sat close by next to him, he couldnât find it in himself to tell him to move away a little. Evan obviously needed to be close with someone.
At the mention of it being cold, Daniel checked the air temperature. It was -2 degrees Celcius. A chance of some rain later today. It was cold. And yet he didnât feel it himself. Perhaps due to his own adult size, he had a little bit more circuitry which were running hot when he was online. He quickly downloaded a manual for a YK500 from the internet into his head. Perhaps he could fix him, if Evan would let him. Daniel didnât know much about the YK model. Only human children.
âNice to meet you too. Would you like me to look into your systems? Maybe I can alter your temperature sensitivity. And I could take a look at your leg if you like. I know how fun it is to have a leg cramp.â
âI-if you would thatâd be great.â He gave a small smile of appreciation. Joy and Richard hadnât turned it off when they left him here. They always wanted him to be the most like a child possible. So that meant getting colds and being cold. He hated having to go through the former alone. But if Daniel turned it off it should all be better.Â
He probably shouldnât put his faith and trust in a stranger. But he was also an android. No other androids had ever been aggressive toward him. So heâs never really had a reason to fear them. Besides, something about Daniel just made Evan want to. Either it being his child like need to trust or something else but he wasnât going question it. Not now.

imitationchildâ:
The mention of abandonment made caused a spike of emotion in the child android but he ignored that. Itâd do no go to cry in front of a stranger. Heâs cried over that particular topic too many times already. So he took a step closer. If he wasnât sure the man was an android he was now. Most donât say their species name like that.
âIâm uhm. Iâm Evan.â He offered awkwardly. âWh-whatâs your name?â
Maybe he shouldnât have asked maybe the other would have preferred to be left alone. But Evan was so tired of being alone. He clung to any opportunity to talk to someone. To be near someone that wouldnât push him away.Â
Daniel dragged his left knee up to his chest and rested his left arm upon it as he regarded the android child. It looked like the child wanted some company. How long had it been a deviant, wandering around? No wonder why it would come to an android adult. Luckily for the both of them, the child was a boy. He wasnât sure how he would have reacted if it was a girl.
âMy nameâs Daniel,â he answered. A moment later he pat the spot next to him, inviting the boy over to sit if he wished. âHow is your system status?â
Nearly jumping at the invitation, he moves to sit with him, probably closer then he should but Evan doesnât really care at the moment. If heâs asked of course heâll move. send đȘ to pick up / carry my muse
Evan didnât quite know how to react to suddenly being picked up or carried. He instinctively wrapped his legs and arms around the adult android like any child would when picked up. Were they suddenly in danger? Or did Daniel miss him? Most likely the former then the latter.. His mind wondered and prickled with anxiety as he tried to figure out just what was going on.

heartlessbetrayalâ:
After pulling himself out of the pile of android corpses in the junk yard, things hadnât been going much better for the old PL600. He had long ditched his uniform, found a pair of faded black jeans that was starting to verge on grey with a hole on the right thigh, and shin, and a not quite a hole on the left knee, just a few bits of white string where the denim fluff had pulled up from it in a small oblong shape; and a shabby and worn black leather jacket. It had been too hard to find a top to wear underneath that wasnât food stained, blood stained, or frayed around the collar. So he had opted for no shirt. It didnât matter, the jacket was zipped up halfway, just enough to cover the deep scratches on his chassis making his faux skin peel away from those spots and make it more obvious that he was an android.
Daniel hadnât really been paying attention to his surrounding. Finding a small shelter of trees, he had gone over to rest against one. Tiredness dragged at his entire system. Perhaps he shouldnât have escaped the junk yard. Perhaps it would have been better to stay there, rot in peace and not worry about humans trying to get at him in the night.
The voice of a child made him jump, head turning quickly towards the sound. The tiredness disappeared in a rush as worry for his own survival took over. A quick scan of his eyes told him that this one was an android, not a real human child. The state of this one would have been too appalling in a human child, some sort of human child services would have certainly picked this one up otherwise.
âHello.â
Maybe he should have used some tact, or kept away from personal questions, but that wasnât quite how Daniel was after deviating. In fact, he was quite angry that humans would throw away a child android.
âWere you abandoned? Typical humans.â

@heartlessbetrayal liked here| [x] for a starter!
Evan was covered in dirt and grim at this point. Joy would be so disappointed in you. Sheâll never come back for you now. He sighed deeply and pushed away those thoughts. He couldnât stay at the train station any more too many people. Asking too many questions. So he went to the little bit trees next to the station. Itâs not to far and if he pretends, it could be a park.. Thatâs why he was covered in dirt. Not that it mattered much.
He saw what looked like another android there, one day. So he wondered over, cautiously. They could be hurt and just as scared as him. âHello?â

@detrcitmade replied here| [x] for a starter for their Kara!Â
The last train was arriving at the station for the night before returning to were ever they do for maintenance. Usually no one got off except for maybe a few people who were running late home or something. So it wasnât much of a surprise when he saw someone step off. What did surprise him was when he realized it was another android. An adult one, not dressed in android garb.. He stood there awkwardly hoping the shadows hid him, a light next to the bench he was left on all those months ago was broken. No one had come and fixed it yet.Â
