“She was born with stronger vocal cords than others, making her feel bigger than she actually was. She used this phenomenon to sing, at first it started innocent, but one day she made a deal with a witch of sorts to help her change the pitch of her voice whenever she wants. I’m talking from normal speaking voice to screaming through a speaker in seconds. She was able to do this, but in exchange, she gave up her left eye (why she hides it behind hair) she was able to commit crimes by using her voice to shatter glass, to steal, to destroy, to kill. Why? Because she loved the powerful feeling it gave her. sadly that feeling came to an end after she got locked up. She remanded in custody for up to 5 years, which got her to stay more grounded, no longer the villain she was, but no longer the innocent girl who she used to be. She got hired at SDN and was given the mask as a safety measure. She took it with no hesitation, afraid she would become the villain she learned to hate again. She much more grounded now and knows when to use her powers for good. And she’s also working through her anger issues and self esteem. We love to see a good redemption arc, don’t we!”
