finished persuasion this week! tbh I think emma is by far my favourite jane austen book. I'm grateful to lily for keeping me company during my lectures, but this heathen just refuses to sit somewhere reasonable like my lap or an empty space on the table (ok those are scarce so fair enough) and instead decides she Must sit on whatever I'm writing at the moment.

Apartment vibes at dusk last night! I’m anxious thinking about how as of tomorrow, I will have been working remotely for a whole year. The time has honestly flown and been a time of both intense anxiety and personal growth. when writing a screenplay about an awkward archaeologist, one must embrace the aesthetic of said awkward archaeologist and literally make their entire workspace resemble that of said awkward archaeologist. i wanted my space to look jumbled, like i’d gone on adventure after adventure and brought pieces back from every trip. even though i can’t travel during the pandemic, my workspace is a nice, temporary substitute. i’m obsessed with it. feel free to ask where i got anything you see in the photo!
