Written In Blood- She Wants Revenge (This Is Forever)
Unfortunately, so it would seem.
That is rather unfortunate. Perhaps I should help refresh your memory.
If possible, Iâve drowned in boredom.
Have you forgotten how to make your own fun, brother?
Time to do as I say â Klaus & Puck
Puck was trying to just do what Klaus asked him to. He knew that he didnât have another options. He nodded and went to take the paper from him and nodded. Heâd tell Quinn and Caroline if he damn well pleased but Klaus didnât have to know that. He still played things his way. He glared at him when he threatened Rachel again. âI said I fucking got it. So why donât you shut the fuck up and get out of my face so I can go?â Puck didnât like Rachel being threatened. He still would do things his way. Klaus, unlike Puck, didnât have a mind reading thing. He looked at it. âMay I go now?â
"You're still not gathering that I am an Original, are you?" Klaus questioned him with an arched brow, continuing to stand in front of him. "You being useful isn't quite enough to prevent me from killing you just because I don't care for you. I would show a little respect." He glared at him for another moment before going to move around him. "Yes, go." He told him without turning around. And with that Klaus continued on to the other side of his car, getting in without sparing Puck another glance. Though he didn't feel as if Puckerman was the smartest of the bunch, he doubted that he would need to make his point again.
When the Dead Come Knocking | Klaus and Melissa
âOf course not,â she muttered sourly. Melissa wanted to step back as he got closer but she kept her place. Sheâd been at his side before, standing next to him as she did work for him. âFine. Iâll do it.â She walked closer, staring him down. Klaus could kill her, hell, he probably would at some point. Melissa had betrayed him in spectacular fashion. No one had known exactly what she was up to except Clair and Matt, and even they werenât as clued in about her plans. She stopped in front of him and poked Klaus sharply in the chest. âBut after this we are definitely done with each other. Got it? I donât want anything to do with you and you can find another witch to do your spells.â
She knew that her threats and demands were pretty empty with him but she didnât want to be stuck as his servant and he had left her alone this last year, meaning he probably only came to her because sheâd worked for him previously. Melissa took a deep breath and pushed past him, glancing over her shoulder impatiently. âWell, come on, I donât have all day.â Melissa led him outside, looking up as the skies turned darker and the wind picked up.
This was going to be a big spell and she needed to be outside for it. Melissa stopped in the middle of the yard and looked around before taking a deep breath and holding her hands out. She stopped paying attention to Klaus and began to quietly perform her spell. Everything got even darker and the earth itself seemed to groan, cracking under the weight of her magic.Â
"Of course you will." Klaus stared back at her, knowing there was no room for disagreement when it came to this witch in particular. She had betrayed him, and for that she should be dead, but here she was. Perhaps she would be dead at his hand eventually, but for now, she would do what he asked of her or eventually would become right now. As she poked his chest he continued to hold her gaze. "But we always have so much fun together." The same smirk remained on his face, one that didn't quite give any emotion at all away. One that he had perfected over his very long lifetime. "Don't worry, love. I believe we'll be done here. You're not the only capable witch, after all."
Klaus loved and despised witches in equal measure. They could be so useful to him, or just serve as another nuisance he had to deal with. Either way though, their power always held a certain allure to him. Of course he had his favorite witches, but he would settle for manipulating whoever he needed to all the same. "After you then, sweetheart." Klaus chuckled as he followed after her.
He hung back a few feet when she stopped in the middle of his front yard, watching her. Klaus had a feeling that she would know the spell he was referring to, and apparently he was right. As he stood there he crossed his arms over his chest and kept his eyes on Melissa while she began to perform the spell. Though his eyes drifted up when he noticed the shift in the air. It was working.
Leave me out with the waste This is not what I do Itâs the wrong kind of place To be cheating on you

My Head is an Animal â Blaine and Klaus
âNo,â he answered quietly, sliding onto Klausâ lap and kissing him again. Blaine couldnât remember the last time heâd kissed anyone. It was probably sometime in New York, and probably wasnât that long ago, but his head was too muddled right now to care. For someone who was dead, Klaus felt warm, or maybe he was just too warm from all the alcohol heâd been drinking. He really couldnât tell and he really didnât care. There was a small buzz in the back of his head as he straddled the hybridâs lap telling him that he was in danger, but he easily silenced it.
âDo you know what youâre doing?â he asked, one hand on Klausâ neck and the other running down his arm. Blaineâs head felt heavy and he let it rest against Klausâ for a moment. He leaned in for another kiss, but stopped short, shaking his head. Blaine just let his head rest on Klaus shoulder for a moment before sliding backwards from him and sitting on the couch and sinking into it. He closed his eyes, not worried about anything at the moment other than content he felt in that moment.
Klaus gave Blaine another curious look when he answered him, but then he was on his lap and his lips were back on his. He kissed him back again, letting his hands slide up his thighs to settle on his hips with an easy grip. He wasn't going to question why he was kissing him now, or if he was ever going to do it again. Not in that moment, at least. It would be something he would probably do his best not to think about later. The last thing he needed right now was to care anything about the werewolf who was currently in his lap, but the boy was annoyingly endearing. He needed to change that.Â
His question being repeated back to him caught him slightly off guard, but he let his eyes drift down to Blaine's hand that was moving down his arm and answered without much thought. "Always." He frowned slightly as Blaine rested his head against his, perhaps at the intimacy of it. Klaus sighed as his head went down to his shoulder, knowing they were done for the night as Blaine was definitely done for the night. He sunk back into his own chair some as Blaine went back to the couch. Klaus rolled his eyes as Blaine closed his but he still let out a chuckle as he stood to his feet.Â
He looked down at the boy for a moment before turning away and calling out a hybrid's name. As a man appeared in front of him Klaus gave him orders to take Blaine back home. He spared him one final glance over his shoulder before he started for the stairs.
My Head is an Animal â Blaine and Klaus
âYes,â Blaine confirmed softly, taking the bottle from his hands. He took a drink, watching Klaus as his questions were answered. âReally old.â He repeated himself a couple of times as if he was still having some trouble comprehending just exactly how old Klaus was. His face flushed a little more and he nodded, moving closer. âSo do you have scantily clad teenage boys in your living room a lot or am I your first?â he asked, taking a drink. His head was swimming now and his little plan to prove himself seemed to be backfiring. Or it was working perfectly because Blaine kind of felt invincible.
The fact that Klaus knew Daniel seemed to slip right over his head. Of course they knew each other. Daniel was old as dirt and Klaus was too. The thoughts fizzled away and he looked down to the nearly empty bottle of liquor in his hands. Of course he wasnât about to pass out on the floor. âI wonât hit the floor unless you mean dancing, in that case, I might,â he smiled blearily. Blaine couldnât remember what being drunk felt like but right now he felt great. His face was warm and he knew in that moment that he could do anything that he wanted to. He could kill Klaus if he chose.
But apparently kill was too close to the word kiss because he moved forward, planting a soft yet slightly drunken kiss on Klausâ lips. He let out a soft laugh and did it again before sitting back on the couch. âYou need⊠you should lighten up. Uptight Hybrid Vampire Man.â Blaine pointed at him, smiling still. âWe both just need to let go and stop worrying and I think I should kiss you again.â Blaine sat forward, pressing a deeper kiss to Klausâ lips before the hybrid could protest, risking his life for what seemed to be the millionth time that night alone. If Klaus didnât kill him, Rachel probably would if and when she found out.
"I'll believe that when I have reason to." Klaus chuckled as Blaine took the bottle. He gave him a curious look as he repeated what he had just said a few times, though he was asking another question before Klaus had time to bother with commenting on it. "No I haven't been seeking out scantily clad teenage boys, actually." As he watched Blaine take another drink he considered getting back up to go and open another bottle, but decided against it for the moment. He would save that for when he was alone again, and then drink until he could actually feel something from it. This boy wasn't going to get to see him like that, no one outside of the people who actually lived in his house would. Well, aside from the person who led him to it in the first place.
Klaus continued to lean forward some in his chair, feeling as if he would be back up from it at any given moment. Whether it would be for Blaine's benefit or his own he wasn't sure. Though he still didn't know what he was doing with him here now. Klaus often made plans, but he acted on impulse and figured things out as he went just as often. This time it was definitely the latter. He watched Blaine again, deciding that yes, he was indeed on his way to being drunk. He wondered if he should send him on his way soon, knowing that would probably be for the best.
He was going back and forth with that thought when his attention was very much so brought back to Blaine. He was admittedly surprised when the boy kissed him the first time, but he masked that and raised an eyebrow as he did it again. Before Klaus had time to offer his own response Blaine was going on again and then he was really kissing him this time. Klaus decided that he probably talked far too much for his liking, but he was...interesting. If he was going to have fun with someone, Blaine could be the one. With that in mind, Klaus kissed him back. As Klaus leaned forward to the edge of the chair one of his hands went to Blaine's hip, pulling him to him. He continued to kiss him for another moment before letting go and pulling back from him. "Do you know what you're doing, little wolf?" Klaus questioned, voice low.
When the Dead Come Knocking | Klaus and Melissa
Melissa rolled her eyes when she heard his voice, taking a drink from the glass in her hands. âI might be,â she said coolly, not particularly trying to piss him off but also not really wanting to be around him. She and Klaus had a bit of history and reliving it wasnât something she really wanted to do. âOh I am?â she asked, looking up at him with wide eyes as she took another drink. She frowned slightly when he mentioned the death of his hybrids and Elena. âSo is this a bitter thing then? Is Daniel locked up in a closet somewhere too?â
A few more bodies? âMe? What? No. No.â Melissa shook her head and quickly drained her glass. How the hell did she managed to get herself into this stuff? âWhy do you need zombies and what makes you think I could even do something like that?â She probably could, with the amount of energy swirling around Mystic Falls right now, but she didnât want Klaus to know that. But then again, it seemed like it was too late for that anyway. She set the glass down and walked away from the cabinet, trying to put some space in between them.
âSo, let me get this straight,â she said. âYou want me to perform a spell that will bring back some dead people just so you have a handful of minions?â Melissa scoffed but she soon got quiet. She knew a spell, and it would bring back anyone she had killed. She felt queasy and shook her head. âI donât think you understand what youâre asking me to do. Thatâs⊠it would upset the balance of nature. You canât mess with life and death like that.â She turned to face him and one look at him told her that she was going to have to do this. Klaus would kill her father, kill Clair and Quinn and anyone else she cared about. âYouâre such a monster,â she said quietly, staring at him.
"No, this has nothing to do with being bitter. Not in my case, at least." It was obvious that a witch was the one who planned to come after Daniel, and a powerful one at that, but Klaus still didn't know just who it was. Though he planned to find out. His relationship with Daniel had definitely become complicated over the past one thousand years of their lives, but they grew up together. Klaus loved him when he was human and he would always love him, as much as he hated that at times. It had the power to shape his actions, and as someone who was always desperate to keep control, he didn't enjoy having that threat of instability.
Klaus crossed his arms over his chest and continued to look at Melissa. "Yes, Melissa, you. You're going to be the one to do this for me." He had a feeling that she knew there would be no getting out of this one. And if she didn't, she would realize it soon enough. "I know that you can, sweetheart. I know exactly what you're capable of." He was more than confident in Melissa's ability to properly to do the spell, and he also knew just how to provide her with the proper motivation if necessary. It was the same with everyone, find the people they loved most and you had them.
"Something like that." Klaus' expression never faltered. He knew exactly what he was asking for. In a thousand years he knew the difference between things you should do yourself and the ones that you could have taken care of by others. He practically considered keeping an eye on other people to be beneath him at this point. "I know exactly what I'm asking you to do, and you're going to do it." He uncrossed his arms and took a step toward her. "Save the flattery." He gave her a wicked grin and took another step. "Now, let's not waste any more time, shall we?"
When the Dead Come Knocking | Klaus and Melissa
Melissa groaned softly and sat up on the floor of a warmly lit room that she thought she recognized but couldnât quite place. She rubbed her head, watching two figures retreat, a male and a female. Hybrids, she assumed, as she slowly realized by the paintings that she was back in the Mikaelsonâs home. She pushed up into a sitting position before finally getting to her feet. âStefan?â she asked, wondering if he was somewhere here too. She had only been out to grab a coffee but now here she was, back somewhere very familiar and she knew something bad was going to happen today.
âAlright Klaus,â she called, dusting herself off. The hybrid definitely scared her but sheâd also spent enough time with him to manage a calm level of back talking. âIâm here, what do you want this time?â Melissaâs heels clacked against the wood floor as she walked through the house and she frowned. She really hoped that she wasnât going to have to find him herself. And about two seconds after thinking that she decided she wasnât going to look for Klaus, and instead she walked over to the liquor cabinet in the corner of the room.
âP.S., if youâre going to kidnap girls off the street,â she continued, pouring herself a glass of bourbon, âthen you might want to be more subtle about it. The Wonder Twins snagged from in front of Java Brew. But of course you donât care about that,â she sighed, shaking her head. Today was supposed to be a simple day. Grab some coffee, see if Clair was knocked up, maybe have a couple of drinks. But instead here she was, waiting on Klaus. Her life was so fucked up.
While the day of Klaus deciding to seek out Melissa had been a bit spontaneous, he had his plans for her thought out for a while, before the night he made sure Puck was bitten by a werewolf. With the lack of hybrids he now had, Klaus was a bit lacking in the amount of people he had at his disposal to do his work for him. Particularly now when he didn't need anyone to really know what he was up to. He was in need of more bodies and he thought he knew just where to get them. And Melissa would be the one to get them for him. It was only fitting as she had been the one to kill them in an act of loyalty.
His hybrids had left Melissa downstairs in his living room when they brought her to him. There were of course other ways he could have reached out to the witch, but in his mind this was the easiest. He was upstairs in his room when he heard her stir and say Stefan's name shortly afterward. He merely gave that a roll of his eyes and finished up with what he was doing before preparing to meet her back downstairs. "I believe the only order I gave was to bring you here." Klaus smirked as he appeared in the doorway, leaning against it. "So no, I don't." He lingered there for a moment before going toward her.
"I assume you're wondering why you're here though." He said as he reached her, standing just in front of her. "You're going to do something for me. Something rather important." He looked down at her. "As most of my hybrids were murdered and my doppelgÀnger is dead, I'm in need of a few more bodies. And you're going to be the one to get them for me." The smirk remained. "Tell me, have you ever raised the dead, love?"
Time to do as I say ⶠKlaus & Puck
Puck didnât like to admit it but he was relatively scared of Klaus. He knew the power Klaus had and then Klaus was rushing towards him again. He then bit down on his lip and glared at him. âI get it, youâre evil and can do things to me.â  He then chose to not say anything else, because he did really realize Klaus would make good on his threats.â  He nodded.  âWitches? Okay I guess I can do that.  Thatâs all you want is just a name?â  I would assume you want me to go then?  Did you at least look to see where I could go so that this could be done?  He just wanted this done with he could move in with life.  âIâm in though.âÂ
"Yes." Klaus answered with a sigh, though he was more relaxed now that Puck seemed to have gotten the message. He made a lot of threats, and most of them were never empty. "That is all I need from you." After a moment he reached into the pocket of his jeans and pulled out a folded slip of paper. "This should tell you where to look." He started to offer it out to Puck but then pulled his hand back. "You will make no one there aware of your presence and you will tell no one here what exactly it is that you're doing for me. No one." Klaus told him. "You will go quietly, and you will go now." He offered the paper back out now. "If you fail to do exactly what I just said, Rachel will be the one who pays for it. Then I'll deal with you. Am I understood?"
Time to do as I say ⶠKlaus & Puck
Puck glared at him when he lifted him up and in a matter of seconds, he sent what he knew would be pain to the hybridâs head.  He knew Klaus could kill him but he wasnât good at backing down and it could likely get his head ripped off.  He then found himself shoved. âWatch me not fucking scared of you or your fucking insane siblings.â  He then shut up when she mentioned Rachel and Clair both. He would hate for anything to happen to them and it was worth shutting up.  âFine. Donât fucking touch them. You so much as go near my sister, Iâll die trying to kill you. I may die but you donât want to deal with my wrath because I can be fucking terrifying as well. All I have to do is turn it off and it opens one hell of fury on this town and Iâll go after your sister if you go after mine, when she least expects it. Stay the fuck away from my family. But I owe you and Iâll do it.â  He then nearly growled at him, realizing he hadnât not said another word. âIâll do it I said, but hurry the fuck up.âÂ
All Puck had to do was open his mouth again to reignite Klaus' anger, but even posing a potential threat toward Rebekah was enough to have him rushing toward him again with another growl. "Save it, Puckerman. Before I shove my hand inside your chest and squeeze your heart until you can't quite say anything else." He took a step back again, knowing that the likelihood of him ripping the boy's head off was very high otherwise. "Now, not another word." Another glare was given to Puck before he began. "You'll be going to Richmond, to find a certain coven of witches. You're going to use your abilities to get inside their heads, and bring me back the name of any witch that thinks of Daniel Salvatore."Â
Time to do as I say ⶠKlaus & Puck
He rolled his eyes. âOf course you do.â  He then got out of the car and walked back around it.  He then prepared to listen. He could listen when he actually put his mind to it. It was just the listening that he didnât do very well, especially to Klaus. He rolled his eyes. âOh please. If I could kill you, I would. But pretty much, you need me for whatever youâre trying to pull off so I suggest you smile and say please because I donât have to help you.â  He knew that he did but still, he wouldnât admit it.  âCome on Klaus, Iâm ready to listen. Start talking.  I donât like listening to you any more than you like listening to me so letâs get on with it.âÂ
Klaus had a breaking point. One that was reached rather quickly. He knew that it was best for him to keep Puckerman alive, but that didn't mean he couldn't still prove a point that the boy clearly hadn't caught on to yet. In a matter of seconds he was off the car and moving toward him, wrapping a hand around his throat before lifting him slightly and shoving him into the car all in one motion. "Don't forget who I am." He said lowly as he held Puck to the car, keeping a tight grip around his neck. "What I'm capable of." He growled, letting his eyes flash yellow once. "But I won't kill you. No, I'll kill your little girlfriend. Or perhaps the blonde wolf, Clair. She would make a lovely hybrid, don't you agree?" He tightened his grip some more before letting go entirely and taking a step back. "It's your choice. So what will it be?" His head tilted to the side. "You tell me which of your friends I kill first, or you smile and do as I say without another word."
Time to do as I say ⶠKlaus & Puck
He nodded. Finn wasnât exactly human but Klaus didnât know that and he wasnât about to tell him any sort of information on that. He would protect Finn to the death. Â Puck wasnât going to follow Klaus but knew that he had to. He had made a deal. Â He then followed him out to what he would assume would be his car. Â âI would assume weâre going somewhere then. Â I hope you know what youâre doing because getting in a car with an annoying original isnât on my list.â Â He then got in the car. âCome on then.â Â Â
Klaus let out an annoyed sigh. "You're going somewhere. I have some business to attend to here in Mystic Falls." He kept his position against the side of the car. "Now get back out. I need to give you a few instructions and I'm also going to need you to actually listen for this to go as planned." For a multitude of reasons Klaus wished that there was anyone else in this town who could be as useful to him as Puck was just then, but that wasn't the case. So here he was, trying to be as patient as he was capable of so that the boy would actually live to complete the task. "And besides, if you're going to live long enough to do this for me I imagine the two of us spending any amount of time together in a car wouldn't be a smart idea."Â
My Head is an Animal â Blaine and Klaus
Blaine gave him a look but held out his empty glass towards Klaus. âI am definitely worth the trouble,â he sighed, moving closer to the chair Klaus was in so he could get a refill. âYou should want the trouble.â Blaineâs head was only slightly fuzzy, and he was sure that if he had been human that the one glass of old as balls alcohol would have been enough to sufficiently get him drunk or kill him, but here he was. He could feel his body trying to overcome the affects of it but if he was going to be here in this house any longer he was going to have to be drunk.
âOh, well thatâs too bad because theyâre really pouty,â he sighed, watching as the glass was refilled. Blaine pulled it back to him, taking another drink. He sat up some, looking back to Klaus, his cheeks slightly flushed as he took another long drink. âSo youâre like⊠really old, right? Really old. Youâve been around for what? A thousand years?â Blaine wasnât sure he could fathom being alive that long while sober, so his drunk mind was definitely having trouble processing it.
âWhatâs it like?â he asked, looking down at the floor. âIt sounds lonely. Watching everyone you know and love die. Unless of course theyâre vampires too. My friend Gwen is one. Her maker is Daniel. Do you know Daniel well? And Mike is my friend too. Theyâre both his. And Carolineâs a vampire.â Blaine frowned some. A lot of people he knew were vampires apparently. And soon he was going to die and theyâd all move on. He let out another sigh and emptied his glass before holding it out to Klaus again, wordlessly asking for a refill.
"Oh I should?" Klaus leaned forward in his chair as Blaine came closer to him. His eyes went over him as he started to fill his glass back up, trying to assess the effects the alcohol had on him so far. He seemed to still be in decent shape, and as he was a werewolf Klaus knew that his tolerance would naturally be a bit higher than the usual, though nowhere near what his own was. If Klaus wanted that roaring drunk feeling, he was going to have to clean out at least half of the liquor cabinet.Â
Klaus took another drink from his own glass after he filled Blaine's up again. He merely gave an eye roll to his comment before finishing off his second glass completely. "Yes, I'm really old." He answered, sinking back into the chair some. "Over a thousand." It was always strange every time he actually said that, no matter how many times he did. For a rather large portion of his life, time passed too quickly for him to even notice. It didn't start out that way, but over the years things changed. He could practically blink a decade away, the insignificant ones especially.
He frowned some at Blaine's question, thinking about the answer he would often give to it. It would be his own way of selling the idea of being able to live forever. Blaine was already speaking again before he could even get a word out though, so he decided to just not worry with it. "Yes, I know him very well." He watched Blaine as he finished off his own glass again. "If I pour you another glass are you going to continue to ramble on?" He raised an eyebrow, looking to the glass that was held out to him to refill. "Or perhaps just hit the floor?" His eyes went back to Blaine. "I'm not terribly fond of the idea of either one occurring." Klaus leaned forward in the chair again and took Blaine's glass from his hand, setting it off to the side. He brought the bottle he still had in his hand up and took one long drink before bringing it back down. "I trust that you know your own limits though." There was a smirk on his face as he put the bottle in Blaine's hand. "Here, finish it off if you like."
Time to do as I say ⶠKlaus & Puck
âOf course you have, so letâs get on with that.â He liked the fact that he couldnât get in though. Granted, he had caused enough shit with this bite. Puck now knew that he had orchestrated everything with him being bit. Puck didnât know what to choose but he was a vampire, so he couldnât just let him in anyway. He then rolled his eyes and stepped outside, shutting the door behind him. âWell outside is the only option since Iâm dead and canât let anyone in.â He knew that he owed Klaus something and Klaus was here to collect. A part of Puck did hope he got to kill someone, but he wasnât holding his breath. As long as he didnât have to kill any of his friends or any hot chicks, he enjoyed killing people. He then leaned against the wall. âStart talking.âÂ
"Oh we will." Klaus took another step back, waiting for him. "Ah yes of course, you have a human roommate." After Puck stepped outside Klaus gave him another look before turning back toward the way out. "Not here." He looked to him once more over his shoulder before he started walking, expecting him to be following. He didn't stop until he was outside again. Having brought his car this time, Klaus headed toward it and leaned up against the side of it as he reached it. This didn't offer him complete privacy, but it was good enough for now. "Let's get to it then, yes?"
Time to do as I say ⶠKlaus & Puck
Puck had decided that coming back to Mystic Falls was one of the more confusing and frustrating things, but he knew he was stuck here until they figured out what was happening. He figured he could just go back to New York and not care but the reason he loved New York was here, not there. So he was pretty much stuck there because she wouldnât be leaving because she cared or whatever. Plus, if Danielâs progeny were at risk, he figured it was the least he could do since he had already left Mike at deathâs doorstep until he had no other option other than to be turned anyway.
Puck was content to do nothing but watch TV and drink a beer today, but he knew life didnât always end up that way. He wasnât sure where Finn had gone but then remembered Finn likely went to work. He really needed to get better about remembering these things. His head then snapped up when he felt someone close and knew it was an original. It was a different feeling than he got from others, and he really hoped it was Kol. He never thought heâd have those thoughts but Kol was better than Klaus or Elijah. He then went to the door and crossed his arms. âOf course it had to be you. Iâd rather it been one of your other siblings. At least Kolâs pleasant and Rebekahâs hot. What do you want?âÂ
"Hello to you too, Puckerman. I've come by for that favor you owe me of course." Klaus stood just in front of the doorway, toeing at the invisible barrier that prevented him from going inside. That was one thing he would never appreciate about vampirism. "Now, let's not waste anymore time here. You either let me in, or come outside. Your choice." He took a step back now, confident in which option Puck would choose. He wasn't in the mood to dispute over him letting him inside as there were other things he cared about far more. The sooner they could get to that conversation the better. Klaus always liked to know exactly who his enemies were, and whoever was coming after Daniel was probably an enemy to him to, which meant he wanted to know who they were now rather than later.
