Caroline had been going stir crazy. There were no events for her to plan, and Tyler had basically told her to stay out of his business with Klaus. The blonde didn’t like knowing that she wasn’t needed, she wasn’t like the rest of her friends, she couldn’t just sit around and do nothing while time ticked by. Deciding she needed to get out of the house the blonde headed over to Town Square, here wasn’t much going on there but Caroline could always order herself an iced coffee and sit on a park bench and people watch. There was no harm in trying to guess and solve other peoples problems from a distance was there?
Walking down the sidewalk towards Java Brew the blonde looked down at her phone as she went. Paying little attention to her surroundings Caroline nearly walked into someone who had stopped on the narrow walkway, her phone flying out of her hand in the process. “Shit.” She mumbled, looking up at who she’d walked into. “Shit.” She repeated, realizing that the person she’d ran into was none other than Kol.
"Caroline," Kol greeted, habitually reaching out a hand to steady her. He retracted the hand after she was balanced, offering a smile instead. His eyes flitted around her face, hardly able to hide the admiring gaze. Why try? Her witty comments would wrangle it out of him eventually. Kol liked that about one Caroline Forbes--'no' was never an answer she would accept.
"What brings you stumbling into me?" He volunteered, smile becoming a wicked grin.
