I will stand. However, till when?

To mistake my kindness for weakness is to confess the sheer poverty of your own wretched spirit. My grace is not submission—it is a calculated truce I grant to those unworthy of even the honor of my hostility. I do not withhold my ferocity out of fear, but out of sheer, crushing indifference; for how could a flickering ember possibly threaten the sun? My civility is the ultimate cruelty of dismissal—I am not gentle because I cannot destroy you, but because you are far too insignificant to warrant the spectacle of my wrath. I reserve my storms for equals; you are simply not worth the ruin.

But do not mistake this arrogance for my truth it is armor, not skin. Because we walk past hundreds of people every day, and none of them wear signs that say, "I'm grieving," "I'm exhausted," or "I'm barely holding it together." But they are everywhere. And that very kindness you call weakness might be the only softness they receive today. I am not cruel because I am strong I am quiet because I have seen my own reflection in every stranger's tired eyes, and I lack the courage to admit I am one of them. So fear my silence, but pity what it hides.
