"I'd like to know why you're at my Sanctuary. You requested to speak only with me. So speak...."
“Yes, well, I believe introductions are in order. I am Count Vladimir Dracula.”
Helen's eyebrows raised at his words. "Really? Fascinating! Helen Magnus. Head of the Sanctuary Network."
“Oh. The Sanctuary Network. Do elaborate.”
Helen gestured for Dracula to sit. "Tea? I always find conversations more appealing over a cuppa."
“Thank you.” said the count. “But I do not drink tea.”
Helen nodded. "Of course. Do you mind if I have some tea?"
“You are quite calm, considering your situation. Are you unfamiliar with my reputation?”
Helen was nothing if not calm in tense situations. She's been love long enough to know when not to panic. "I know you, sir." She smiled patiently as she poured herself some tea. "I'm over 300 years old. I don't panic easily."
“I’ve got you beat by bout 700 years. And there might be a detail or two that you missed.
*THUNDER* *LIGHTNING*
Helen smiled calmly as she continued sipping her tea. "Of course. I'm not one to bullshit my way through life." She loved learning anyway and if she could add to her sum total knowledge then it was a win. "It's not a bloody competition, sir. Calm down."
“I’m just saying, there’s a lot more to vampires than people know.”
"Naturally." Helen smiled over her cup of tea. "I don't know everything. I'm always learning. Even after all this time."
