Here is my portion of 2 minute Film, finally finished. Honestly this was one of the most difficult projects that i had to do in regards to pre-production, production and post production. The fact that we had to redo our story for the film to make it more easier to understand definitely gave us more work to do. When it came animating the film i did struggle a lot with time management, specifically with how long it would take to animate certain movements as well as moving the characters through different perspectives such as when the woman Naveah walked into the background and stood on the broken TV, although it sounds simple it was quite difficult understanding what positions she would take as she moved back and how her proportions would change. The timing on certain actions was pretty quick however that was attributed to a lack of inbetweens. adding more frames inbetween meant i had to move other frames in the timeline and with the multiple layers coordinating with others, it felt close to impossible to add inbetweens.
Despite all of this im am still happy i managed to finish such a gruelling project and im somewhat glad it didn’t become any more complex then what we originally envisioned. I do feel that this project was important for my skill in animation as the shortcomings of my film taught me various things such how i should plan how many frames i should add before moving on with my and animation and possibly splitting my project into different sections so my timeline will not look so overloaded. But i did like my use of for my characters as well as the thick black outlines that remind me of some cartoons that i used to was as a kid, i think this may be the first step in finding my own style of drawing (though it still can be better).
