Can We Give “Us” A Chance?

It’s been 4 months since I last posted, and as you can see from my blog, I was a bit brokenhearted then, but I’m okay now. I like someone else. His best friend told me he likes me too, but I don’t believe in it just yet. I don’t want to get my hopes up then watch them fall if nothing happens.

The notes app in my phone is filled with things I want to tell you, but I’m scared to. I’m scared to get rejected. I’m scared to get my hopes up. I’m scared to not get loved back. 

Can we give “us” a chance? It won’t hurt to try, right?

To his next girI,

I know you won’t be able to read this, but if you do, I’m gonna tell you things about him. He loves to play basketball, he’s very close to his family, he’s very faithful to God, he’ll always make time for you, he’s a bit hot-headed, he tries his best to make you feel like you’re the best in the world. There are times he’ll cancel your plans to go out because his family made plans. There are times he’ll play basketball for a few hours because it’s his favorite sport. There are times he’ll get mad or sad because you did something he didn’t like. There are times he’ll take you with him when he’s with his friends but will still make you feel welcome and comfortable. Please take care of him, he’s a precious, loving, caring, protective, sweet, an everything-you-can-ask-for boy. Please don’t hurt him. Make time for him, always. Love him with all your heart. Make sure he’ll never sleep mad, sad, or upset. Always be there for him. He might be a joker and all, but he’s still human, he sometimes gets upset. Make him feel like he’s the best in the whole wide world because believe me, HE IS. He’ll call you in the middle of the night. He’ll call you in the morning to wake you up. He’ll call you when you need him. He’ll call you when he misses you. Don’t get annoyed, be thankful. Please please please don’t break his heart. EVER. If you do, I will find you and you will pay for it. I don’t care who you are but if you do, you’re never gonna want to show your face to me again. Being with him was the best time of my life. We broke up once, but we got back together. Unfortunately, we broke up again. He’s very special, so don’t even try to hurt him. A guy like him is rare. You’ll never find someone like him. I still love him. I always will. Please love him too. No one will love him as much as I do, but love him with all your heart, okay?

First of all, I would like to apologize for my 2-month absence. I’ve been very busy with school stuff lately but here’s a new post for you all. :)

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me. I’m not stunning, I don’t see myself as a girl any guy would like or choose, but you did.

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me when there’s a lot of girls around me who are surely more beautiful, smarter, funnier, and all that.

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me when I’m just this simple girl who you saw in the park with my friends laughing about stupid things.

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me because I’m not really even special at all.

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me when I’m an emotional wreck.

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me when I’m this screwed up mess, not knowing what to do with my life.

To the guy who chose me,

I have always wondered why you chose me... but thank you for doing so. You gave me a reason to love who I am just by accepting my flaws and such. You gave me a reason to smile every day, every time I wake up, and before I go to sleep. You gave me the love that filled the emptiness of my heart.

Be my seven day soulmate. Let’s buy ice cream at the fifty year old local parlor on the corner of main street and end up with half of it dripping down our fingers. We’ll grab popcorn at the movies just to sit in the back row and throw it at each other by the handful like little kids. Dinner will be lit by orange candles and we won’t kiss goodnight because we’ll be too busy talking about what dinosaurs must have thought of the moon. We’ll be nothing and everything and all thats in between. But when our week is up, who knows if we’ll meet again?
