We were so busy at the museum after THRAG that tumblr got neglected. Heres some local news footage about the museum!
THRAG was a success! For more information check out our “Thrag Wrap-up” page
Our 24 hour gaming event is going on now. We are live streaming video of some of our game tables, check it out:

STATUS UPDATE:
We have had more than twenty donations and renewals bringing us to $1,400. Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared our story. That is enough money to give us more time to find support. We have another $600 pledged for Thrag, and many Raffle items coming in as well.
We still need around $12 - 13,000 for our lease obligation (depending on attendance through the winter). We hope to raise a significant portion of that with Thrag next weekend. Even better would be to raise $90,000 and we could implement our Capacity Building Plan.
In the next couple of days we will send out a press release about Thrag. We are designing our Raffle and Patreon Drives to correspond with Thrag. Also, we will send out a membership drive notification.
If you can, please help. We need:
1) People to play games Tuesday the 13th at 5 a.m.! We'll provide coffee and donuts. KOIN TV will be here and we'd like to make a great impression. 2) People to play games at the Game-a-thon. We need game hosts, game players, game ideas, Sponsors and more. 3) Volunteers to make calls! We're calling up gamers, donors of refreshements, donors of raffle items, and donors of money. If you have some time, please stop by the museum to see what you can do to help, or talk with Kyle or Carol.
Today is the 50th anniversary of Star Trek! So we got together a bunch of our action figures and games to celebrate at I.M.O.G.A.P. (The game they are playing is Star Trek Catan, by the way.)
Live long and prosper!
Here are some of the Star Trek board games you can play when you come to visit us at the museum:

No Peeking is a game that is based on shape recognition.
OBJECT: players are blindfolded and have to try to identify various different shapes using their sense of touch, or using their memory.
There are four different games that you can play and instructions are included for them.
This game is in the collection at I.M.O.G.A.P.
Lincoln Logs were invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright, son of the famous American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and has been entertaining children for almost a century!
Playing with Lincoln Logs encourages creativity, inspires imagination, helps children develop fine motor skills and experience problem-solving.
We have a whole box of these things at I.M.O.G.A.P. - come build your dream cabin : )
There are instruction pages to help you build, or give you ideas on how to build your own custom cabin.
Hey, I.M.O.G.A.P. is a PokéStop! A convenient place to stock up on pokeballs as well as play board games. Pokemon Go visitors are welcome. :D
Open Tuesday - Saturday from 11 am - 7 pm 8231 SW Cirrus Drive Beverton, Oregon
The Ball Pyramid Puzzle at the Interactive Museum Of Gaming And Puzzlery.
Dalmatian Dominoes are a cute twist on the classic game of dominoes. As the game is played, a line of dalmatians will begin to form! Players try to be the first to get rid of all their dominoes by matching the dots to those already in the line.
This game is part of the collection at I.M.O.G.A.P. the board game museum in Oregon!
Tangram puzzles are fun and challenging! This book has 1,600 silhouette shapes that can be built with the 7 wooden tiles. It is a kind of “dissection puzzle” which can be assembled in different ways to form distinct geometric shapes.
This game is part of the collection at I.M.O.G.A.P.
You may have seen the uglydoll plush toys, But did you know that there is a card game?
Here are the basic rules:
Starting with the youngest player and moving to left, take turns flipping over cards face up onto the scatter of face down cards. As soon as you spot three identical Uglydolls anywhere in play, race (without taking turns) to grab as many matching cards as you can.
If you and another player both grab a card at the same time, the first one to shout “Mine!” wins the card.
If you grab a card when there are not three of a kind showing, you are penalized and must put one card from your personal pile out of play.
Keep turning over cards and grabbing matches until all of the cards are face up. At that point, all players count up their cards and whoever has the most wins.
This game is in the collection at I.M.O.G.A.P.
Uno Stacko is a stacking block game which has plastic blocks colored red, blue, yellow, and green. The blocks are numbered one to four, players roll the Uno Cube to determine the moves they each make.
When a colored number turns up, the player pulls a block having the same color or number as the side indicated. For instance, if a player rolls Yellow 4, the player must pull a block which is either yellow or bears the number 4. When "Reverse" turns up, the direction of play is reversed. "Draw Two" forces the player to pull any two blocks and place them on the top of the tower.
As in Jenga, the game ends when the tower collapses and the person whose last move did not cause the collapse wins.
This game is part of collection at I.M.O.G.A.P.

We want to share our games and knowledge with the community to inspire and encourage people to learn (or improve) skills through gaming.
