Are preexisting AU's allowed if we the contributor created them?
Yes, as long as you created them!
Do the AUs have to be ones made within the selected group/contributers, or are we able to (with permission) use one from our friends/other creators as a way to shine light on and bring attention to their work?
In turn if you want to do work for another au that isnt your own and the creator isnt in the project, we will not accept it unfortunately. Just as a way to not over create for a already established au and change it in ways the creator will not be apart of if not joined
What’s the “ruling” of what’s an au? What’s many headcanons vs a full Alternate Universe in the case of the zine?
A actual Alternate Universe, while headcanons are fun if they dont inherently have a story altering course than it will not be accepted
Would this project involve shipping?
The current plan/idea is to have it sectioned to part of it being non-shipping and the other shipping!
Would there be an explicit section, or would this be targeted purely towards all-ages?
We are trying to high a more teen/adult audience, as to include more horror aus but we will not have a explicit section
Is this a zine for one specific AU, or for multiple AU's?
Multiple! We would like to show case people with their au's to show out the range of stories the community have made and possibly will make within the au itself!
Would it be a zine where people are creating aus? Or a collection of au's people already have?
A combo of both! We want to allow those who want to show of their au's with a team of others to bring it to life and make one or more in the project itself if people are interested in!
Will people be organized into teams with multiple leads?
This will be more stated in the actual applications themselves, but as of right now we will be making teams with au creators and those who would like to help the aus. But you arent strictly in the team as a way to inspire others to interact with the other au's in the server itself and possibly make more of the other ones!!
