And the stilted intimacy of imogen buckling from being seen like that by someone so nurturing as fearne and she backs away from the window and fearne just watches and listens and lets her, nodding that it doesn’t matter, whatever darkness imogen is pinning to herself, whatever blame, fearne just Needs to be there with her, silently affirming that it wouldn’t change how fearne feels about her.
