[rough day - Jamie] Something didn't feel quite right. Something was off. Henry watched Jamie cross the room and tilted his head at her slightly. As she sat down next to him, resting her head on his shoulder, he spoke up. "Is something the matter, dear?"
Off was a good word for it; Jamie had been trying to avoid this conversation for over a week now. But nothing had changed, and it was getting to the point where she thought he had a right to know. Settling in next to him, the brunette closed her eyes and tried to steel her nerves, afraid of how he might take the news. “I, um, I need to talk to you about something. I— I think I— … I’m late, Henry.”
The news hit him in the chest. "Late? As in. .pregnant?" Henry felt a flurry of emotions such as fear, happiness and a hint of sadness. He hadn't wanted to burden her with something like that but.. . he always wanted a child. "You're certain?"
