Honestly I think it's a lot less classy to bash people than to ship something ~not canon~ and maybe even incredibly ooc. So what? It's fandom. You have a lease to go out there and do what you like, so long as you don't stop anyone else from having fun. Last time I checked, I didn't go to fandom for ~realism~; I went there to have fun. So why are so many people policing and being douche-bags about it?Â
