Do you have a main account where you post your other art?
Yeah I post stuff on my main Tumblr https://ilayas11.tumblr.com/
And on my Twitter https://twitter.com/ilayas_11
I don't update my Deviant art much but you can also find me there https://www.deviantart.com/vixen11
Be ready for lots of Destiny 2 stuff.
Are you still active?
In general, yes. I'm alive and still making art and what not. In the SWTOR fandom including but not limited making my web comic not so much any more.
Will you ever bring back your comic?
Short answer: I don’t know, but if I’m being honest probably not.
Long answer: I don’t currently play SWTOR so I’d have to start playing again and I already don’t have enough time to play all the games I’m currently playing. While I dearly love my comic and am grateful for all the people that also enjoyed it there are a lot of things I would like to change. Not just artwork but also writing. Things that I though were good long running jokes that looking back just where not. I don’t want to continue forward without making those changes and I don’t really want to sit down and do the work necessary to update things.
At this point it would be far more likely for me to start up a new comic then continue this one. I know that is probably not the answer you wanted but it is an honest one.
You know the thing with the guy.

Seriously, the republic forces really need to step up their fashion game.

So long time no see.
I feel like I owe you guys and explanation and I probably should have said something sooner but I’m really quite bad at talking about such things. So let’s get down to the heart of the matter.
Back in October, of last year, there were some significant changes that happen in my life and in my job. Those changes made it considerably more difficult, but not impossible, to work on my web comic Imperial Entanglements. 2017 was a year of constant stress. There was enough things both big and small that went unresolved and un-dealt with that by the time October hit, it hit me hard. I don't deal with stress well and when I reach my breaking point I tend to go into full hermit mode. While in hermit mode I made almost no artwork for about 3 months and that made me honestly feel worst because I love creating.
Currently I am slowly working my way out of this funk. I'm making artwork again and I'm feeling a bit better.
I loved working on Imperial Entanglements. I loved making you guys laugh. I loved that there were so many of you that looked forward to my updates. All of your kind words and support was wonderful and I thank you all for that. However the web comic was a source of stress that I just don't have the time or the head space to deal with right now. I know it sucks. There are so many fun things I wanted to show you guys. I won't say I will never start up the comic again but for now Imperial Entanglements is going on indefinite hiatus. I'm sorry guys but that's just the way of it.
There were a few comics left that didn’t get uploaded here but did get uploaded to the website. I’ll be adding them shortly.
Any future Star Wars art of any sort I make I will be uploading to this blog and my main blog, which also has my non-Star Wars artwork. You can follow me here : http://ilayas11.tumblr.com/
Again thanks for all the support, kind words, favs, and reblogs. I can’t really describe how much that meant to me.
nineprotons replied to your photoset “There is no time to explain to you why there is not time to explain...”
Is it wrong that I really hope this comic continues to Alderaan because I want to see Vector? Because I do.
Vector is just one of the many reasons why I can’t wait to get to Alderaan. I have such glorious plans for that planet.
There is no time to explain to you why there is not time to explain things to you.

Ellipse week I didn’t have the time to work on my comic. So I took some time to try and improve my inking. I might try to color these latter. I really think Koth turned out the best (he was the last one I completed so huzzah for improvement!).
In which a Jedi and a trooper (who are totally NOT working for the Republic) die and battle plans are formed.

There are not many times that one can cross off something on their bucket list by hanging out with their family in the parking lot outside their apartment in central Wyoming. Luckily the total solar eclipse of 2017 afforded me that opportunity.
There are many ways to watch the eclipse that don’t involve solar glasses (or solar binoculars which we also had and were really cool). My boyfriend has a telescope that we fitted a plastic funnel over the eye piece and covered with a white shower curtain. This projected an image of the sun onto the shower curtain. I didn’t get a good picture of it but you could actually see sun spots. The main down side of this method is we had to constantly keep readjusting the telescope to keep up with the sun’s movement across the sky. The up side was you could take pictures of the partial ellipse really easily (trying to take photos through a solar filter did not work out well). If you have a telescope I would highly recommend doing this. It was a surprisingly easy cheep way to get what was essentially a solar filter. We were honestly shocked how well it worked.
Leading up to totality it got colder out. Even before the light started to get strange you could feel the difference. I wasn’t expecting that. The sun light also got really strange. Just describing it as being dimmer than normal sunlight does not really capture just how surreal the light was. I have never experienced anything like that.
About 10 min before totality we hiked up a hill on the golf course behind my apartment. We wanted to be able to see the moon shadow coming and or going, which really didn’t happen (there was no hard edge it was kind of a gradual thing) but we did have a great view of the horizons all around us. It looked like being surrounded by a sunless sunset on all sides. My dad was the only one who kept his shit together enough to take pictures (he also had the nicest camera); all the pictures during totality are his. You can see Mercury in the bottom corner of the last picture.
As totality was ending, (specifically when the “wedding ring” happens) it looked like a white spot light was shinning down on us. It wasn’t normal yellow sunlight there was no yellow just pure white light. It almost seem artificial. This was yet another weird thing I did not expect. When we were walking back to the apartment we noticed that dew had formed on the grass and that it was not there when we walked up the hill. That’s how much the temperature dropped during totality.
The total solar eclipse was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen; in that it was truly awe inspiring. I can absolutely see why ancient people lost it when they experienced one. Honestly I kind of lost my shit and I absolutely knew what was happening. If you have the ability to see one I would highly recommend it. You NEED to be in totality, 90% is not good enough, trust me. I will be making plans to see the 2024 eclipse here in 7 years because 2 min and 26 seconds was just not long enough for one of the most powerfully beautiful things I have ever experienced.
Well that was awesome
Saw a total solar eclipse today will post pictures latter.
