Day 4- Free Day! Sorry Val is in all of these so far but she is my fav and when someone is my fav i tend to ship them with everyone... So this is Val and Star! You know Star? Paulina's best friend? Had hardly any lines/character development in the show? Yeah I think they’d be cute together! Analysis under the cut if interested.

I was looking through danny phantom wiki for some reason and checking on valerie’s profile and I noticed Star was posted as still her friend! Which I was surprised about because the popular kids had seemingly kicked Valerie to the curb after she became poor. But then I started thinking back and I remembered during the episode where Val and Danny started dating, there was a scene where valerie was talking to star about Danny after they messaged each other all night. So it seems that not only are star and val still friends but val feels comfortable enough to confide in star about her personal life which is huge! Val throughout her character development the show was keeping secrets and was more focused on her goals than having a social life but for star to stay friends with her when all her old friends shut her out really must have strengthened their bond! I kept thinking about how val would slowly confide more and maybe even tell her about her ghost hunting. That star would be the one to comfort val through heartbreak.. And maybe star would start distancing herself from the popular crowd because her and val relationship is just more special. plus it would be interesting to see someone new join the ghost hunting gang who doesn’t fit the mold and is completely on valerie’s side. and I think all the girls of dp deserved more character development! I feel like they were either interesting/ weird girls or vapid/hot girls ready to be tantalized over. But again this is just me spit balling here.. Also I guess their ship name would be Gray Star~

You know, I’ve always known that Zenith’s former resistance leader, Gray Star, was your final target on Balmorra as an agent. But somehow it never sank in until now that Zenith’s resistance leader...was a key member of the Eagle’s terror network, a rather different thing from the Balmorran resistance (especially since the terror network ultimately answered to a rogue member of the Dark Council.)

Which leaves me to wonder...Did Zenith have any idea that the guy he respected so much was also involved with that? Typically networks like this operate with cells where only the leader of a cell knows a contact or two outside the cell...were the resistance cells kept in the dark about other ones involved in all-out terror that was going to be aimed broadly at everyone?

Was Zenith in that deep himself? Was he was ready to condone broad acts of terror, killing millions of civilians? Slaves? Children? Acts that little to do with actually freeing Balmorra or striking at the forces occupying it? If not, was there something further on in that journal that he destroyed?

Questions we’ll probably never get answers to...
