The Astarion fan subreddit r/OnlyFangsbg3 decided to do a coloring book for the one year anniversary of the sub and this was my submission. I haven't really drawn many things in a sort of art nouveau style but I have really enjoyed coloring things done in that style in the past. So I thought this would be fun for people to color.

So over the course of the planning for r/place 2023 I made a bunch of glorious plans that absolutely did not get used and I figure I could would share them here.
The first is the traveler with the Lance Reddick memorial is rendered in all 4 color palettes used in 2023's r/place (8, 16, 24, and 36 colors). The two previous r/places started with 16 colors, 2023 r/place started with 8. This came as a surprise to everyone. Including me who was quickly trying to revise our plans. That confusion is one of the contributing factors as to why things fell apart at the beginning.
We were not able to get on the canvas until the first expansion when we attempted to create a very small but rather adorable little ghost who was unfortunately wiped out by a streamer before for we could get the word bubble tail completed.
And lastly these were some ideas I made up ahead of time in case we decided to claim additional space. They were never really used but I had fun making them.
I just wanna show off what the guardians over on the Destiny the Game discord where able to create on this year's r/place. Both artworks made it to the very end! It was a lot of work and I am super proud of what we were able to accomplish.
I did like 90% of the artwork for the Lance Reddick piece and the very talented TH3 LUMΞNUX made the Saint 14 piece. These were memorials to Lance Reddick Zavala's English voice actor and Sylvain Lemarié Saint 14's French voice actor who both passed away this year.
Meaning: Glut. Anxiety leading to waste. You were afraid guests would go hungry so you made sandwiches. Just so many goddamn sandwiches. Now what?
Reversed: Charity so extravagant it becomes a nuisance. WHAT do they expect you to do with all these sandwiches?!
…look, sometimes I get these ideas. Like tarot cards so bizarrely specific that you wonder why they’re in the deck.

I think I've finally dialed in a painting method that works for me in Clip Studio Paint. I ended up actually learning a lot about the program in the process. Particularly with the line work in the background. I could probably chip away at this forever but eventually you just gotta call it done and move on to the next picture.
