This has been RIO BRAVO, a MARSHALS short by: Matt Brady & Troy Brownfield (writers) Thomas Nachlik (art) Jim Campbell (letters) We will also be posting the first five pages of a prospective first issue. For your consideration.
Something new is coming . . .
Our first book as a team, from February 2011. Get it digital here.
Some days, you are the Hulk, and some days, you are the bear.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with this "older hero/younger hero" mix of the Black Cat and the Black Kitten. No, nothing. I mean: "Kit Weston is a former circus acrobat who was taken in by Linda Turner after his parents were killed by a costumed criminal. It wasn't long before he realized that his guardian was secretly the Black Cat. When he helped her defeat the intruders who broke into her house, she allowed him to become her sidekick, the Black Kitten." That's very original. I'm dying with curiosity now - has there ever been a reboot/revamp of this?
The trick is not to become a writer, it is to stay a writer. Day after day, year after year, book after book. And for that, you must keep working, even when it seems beyond you.
