saving brushes

Step 1 start with the image of the brush(s) you want to use, then click the polgonal lasso tool step 2 cut around the image with the lasso tool step 3 once you have selected the image, copy the image step 4 create a new image, height/width will all be correct so you wont need to change any of the settings. Paste the copied brush. step 5 click "edit" and then "define brush preset" step 6 name your brush and click ok step 7 ensure your brush was saved properly, it should be at the bottom of your brush list and youre done!

I started this site the beginning of March 2016. I have been doing this for almost 10 years and have not gotten tired of it yet. When I first started, I loved making graphics and content, but was not very good at much else. That’s why you will find a large amount of resources for content sites, because I know sometimes you just need a little help to get started! Preppy text tutorial

What you'll need:

for the font I used click here step 1 starting text

step 2 add color

the next steps will involve this panel

step 3 creating a white stroke around text

step 4 creating a pattern overlay

step 5 bevel and emboss

step 6 this is what your text should look like now

step 7 rasterize type to turn text into an image

step 8 merge down. create new layer directly under text layer, then merge the text layer down

step 9 add gradient stroke

step 10 this is what your text should look like

Repeat step 8 add layer directly under text image, select text image and merge down step 11 add pattern stroke

step 12 add drop shadow

step 12 when you're all done, your text should look like this

Downloading Fonts

Find the font you want to download. I usually use dafont, they have most of the popular ones and their site hasn't given me and issues with unsafe downloading

The download will start at the bottom of your screen, once it's completed downloading, right click the arrow and click "show in folder"

when the folder pops up, the new font folder should be highlighted, double click it and you should get this window, double click the TrueType font file.

A new window will pop up with samples of the text in different sizes. Double click "install" towards the top left. after it's installed the button should be greyed out. And that's it!

FAQ

Q: Where do you download Photoshop? A:Believe it or not, I use a very old version because it's free on Adobe, its CS2 but for the things I do, I haven't seen any issue with it so far. You can go to https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html and download it there, the serial you need to register it is located to the right of where you choose the program to download. Q:What do you use to upload your photos? A:Again, it's probably not preferred but I stick to the basics, I use tinypic and haven't had any issues thus far. Q:Where do I find the code to.. A:I hate getting this answer from people but my best advice is just googling it. If I were able to memorize all of the sites I get codes from I would be thoroughly impressed with myself, there are seriously tons of tutorial websites out there that are simply amazing. Q:What can I request to be made? A:Text, images, banners, icons, photo retouching. Honestly I'll give anything a try or atleast let you know after you contact me whether or not I'll be able to. I really don't know of too many questions I get asked but if you don't see your question here don't be afraid to contact me!
