impseola:
It was then did Seola wish for the ground to open up and swallow her whole. Power replication. Out of all the possible explanations, this one didn’t even cross her mind. Perhaps, like she, this stranger possessed a power no one else at Imperium held. Hesitantly, Seola leaned closer as her protuberant, frantic eyes searched his own for any traces of falsehood, but all she met was shock, true shock.
Confusion crashed over in waves as she drowned in a sea of her greatest fears. Seola tried her best to appear calm but, with quivering lips and face turned pale, her body betrayed her. He’s the second person to unearth her darkest shadows, and he was a stranger. A stranger knew and it was by accident. It was almost laughable. The last thing she wanted was for him to keep blabbing on for everyone to hear so, using her 5.5ft height to good use, fingers hastily wrapped around his collar and Seola tugged. “ Follow me. ”
Leading him through the crowd, carefully avoiding bumping into anyone else, Seola was all the more determined to get somewhere safe. Past the chaos of students, she headed straight for the silence of the gardens, and sure enough, they were alone in the leafy alcove were she stopped.
Releasing her grip, Seola hurriedly stepped back and, in a rush, she blurted out, “ They said my power is necromancy. The things, well technically people, you’re seeing are ghosts. ” Catching her breath, Seola looked at him desperately. “ You can’t tell anyone. ” It was like ripping off a band aid and whether she bled, all her hidden truths spilling out for all to hear, was in his hands.
the news of his power seemed to surprise her. like, really surprise her, and not in a good way, either. though she was trying as hard as hell to appear as calm as possible, her body was clearly betraying her and minchan could tell that she was freaking out. though he really didn’t understand why that was. he got it, not many people appreciated him just nicking their powers for a couple of hours, but he hadn’t really had anyone acting this worried about.
he didn’t even really get the chance to ask about it wonder what the hell was wrong with her when she reached up and grabbed his collar, practically pulling him along behind her. “do i have much of a choice in the matter?” he wondered out loud as he just let himself be dragged along behind her. he had no idea where they were going, and he didn’t really want to be going along with her, but he couldn’t deny he was curious.
not to mention he still needed to know what she was lying about before he accidentally did something to hurt someone.
finally he was released, straightening himself up again and smoothing down his shirt. necromancy. he hadn’t really been expecting that, “so that... person was a dead guy.” now that was just freaking him out even more, he had just seen a ghost. minchan shuddered a little, adding in a mutter, “i knew he looked like the grim reaper for some reason.” his eyes averted for a moment, though they soon returned when he was asked not to tell anyone about it. “why don’t you want people to know?”
