I taught English overseas for 5 years (in Russia, Turkey, and China). When I returned to California, I taught in a desert prison and fell in love with one of my students, Jose from Mexico. I got fired and moved near the new prison where Jose transferred so that I can visit him every weekend. We will marry inside those prison walls.
