"How can I help you?" is a polite way of telling a business solicitor to get to the point.
Every time I sort the mail at work and I pull out the 2 or 3 items that were not addressed to my company, I think of that one customer that called in pissed, because she received a late notice even though she had sent in her payment, and she chewed the ear off our poor AR clerk who suggested the post office could have mishandled it. The rant went something like, "I work for the post office! We don't make mistakes!" And it went on for, like, 5 minutes.
Okay. I'm sure this business with a PO Box in Seattle wanted their customer to send their check to us and not to them, and the post office knew this, so they gave it to us instead of directing it to the office in the correct zip code. And the business up the road from us prefers to collect their mail from us and not have that shiny, perfect postal carrier bring it to them himself.
Always be generous with cheese and sour cream. You never know what someone may be going through.

Friendly Reminder.....
If you spend most of your working day on your tuckus, get up and move!
“A man who lies to himself, and believes his own lies, becomes unable to recognize truth, either in himself or in anyone else, thus he ends up losing respect for himself and for others. When he has no respect for anyone, he can no longer love, and, in order to distract himself, he yields to his compulsions, indulges in the lowest form of pleasure, and behaves in the end like an animal to satisfy his vices. And it all comes from lying — to others and to yourself.”

The Tears That Taught Me
“In every European language, the use of the word “person” to signify a human being, is unintentionally appropriate. The origin of “person” is “persona”, a mask, such as actors were accustomed to wear on the ancient stage; and it is quite true that most don’t show themselves as they are, but wear a mask and play their part. Indeed, the whole of our social arrangements may be likened to a perpetual comedy; and this is why a man who is worth anything finds much of society so insipid, whilst the incompetent are quite at home in it.”
— Arthur Schopenhauer, Studies in Pessimism

COMFORTABLY NUMB
There are times she feels so alone
Trying to do this thing called living
Aimlessly she wanders and roams
A path that's rocky and unforgiving
There are times she wants to quit
She's trying so hard to rid her depression
It isn't easy she must admit
Sometimes she feels it's her only possession
She is so comfortable feeling this way
A familiar place to be
And sometimes she would rather stay
In the dark, instead of free
Some people just don't understand
When you've been through trauma and pain
It doesn't matter who holds your hand
Things will never be the same
