‘ the radiant garden? ‘

he gives the younger man a small grin, before turning to that of a concerned expression. brows furrowed ; arms crossed, thinking quietly. hoping that he can make it to the portal and back into the real world with both his father and quorra. that had worried him the most of all about this FINAL battle between the four of them and clu ; the programmed perfectionist his father had created to continue DEVELOPING the grid as he saw fit, which in turn had gotten his father locked in this digital prison with no way out. 

‘ sounds like you guys had a good time together —— no wonder you're such good friends. ‘

‘ i'm sure you and alan would be too. ‘

“It was the right thing to do, Sam.” He sheepishly smiled, rubbing the back of his head.

“You don’t owe me anything– I just wanna help you guys and find Tron.”

‘ how well do you know him? ‘

‘ it's an arcade game, man. i mean it's not much. ‘

he's of course lying, turning to the other BLONDE ; blue eyed teen that stood before him, whom at the moment had seemed very fascinated about some object, whether it be the arcade or the actual game itself. maybe he’d never actually step foot in one of these buildings before. 

their eyes continued to reflect against the neon signs, displays and active monitors that encompassed the establishment, sam watching the others go from machine to machine in starstruck awe. it was quite obvious they were foreigners from their clothes to the way that they acted around new experiences.

STARTER CALL. @improvises.

It feels more like he’s woken up in this place than ended up in it, if he’s to be entirely honest ; though that gives him a tense sensation of nostalgia up his spine and in his heart, for it’s happened in a few other places before.

Looking around a bit more closely, it doesn’t resemble any of the Sleeping Worlds he’d acted similarly in ; though he can’t help but feel like something is going to happen. Perhaps that’s just a normal thing, given all he’s seen and done in the last three years ; so he tries to shrug it off.

And, in all honesty, manages, for the most part - until he spots what looks like a familiar presence in the not-so-far distance.

it's AMAZING what's happened, clu had finally been derezzed, the world awakened thanks to both sora and riku. the grid remade, programs flourishing in this new digital domain. sam flynn carrying on his father's LEGACY, keeping the peace. tron repurposed and with alan at his side. though it wasn't quite the same, it was enough ; enough for the programs and enough for him.

this was how it was suppose to BE and how it would continue on for cycles to come.

—— the now older man hadn't exactly planned on seeing the HERO, one who weld a keyblade. he'd figured riku was done with this world and that it had been time to move on, though was he pleased to see his friend? of course.

‘ next time tell me when you're coming. i can make a better entrance. ‘
