  He didn’t know why he was acting like this. He didn’t know if it was something he always did, or if it was just the memory loss, the shock of ending up somewhere he didn’t know anything about, but somewhere inside of him, he felt like he was overreacting. Maybe it was the shock of ending up here after all. “Look, I don’t know why I’m acting like this. I just know I ended up here without any further notice. Can you blame me for being somewhat careful around here? Of have you forgotten your first day already?” He shrugged. “I wasn’t planning on running around like a lost puppy. Somehow I have the feeling I’m not that kind of guy.” He didn’t know why, but the fact that he was able to hold back the panic, to take in his surroundings made him think he would manage himself here, even if he didn’t want to, even if he didn’t like it. Suddenly he felt the boy gripping his shoulder, apologizing. “Ok… it’s fine. Maybe I overreacted as well…” He offered his hand. “To a new start then?”

"Yeah man. It's fine. It's understand. Some of us get angry at the start. Like that Liam kid. He was running a mile when he first got here. He didn't like talking to no one either" Sean said with  a small sigh escaping his lips. His anger and frustration toward this man from earlier had completely faded. He was fine. The normal cool and collect Sean. "I was a shock to this place believe it or not. The didn't have anyone as good looking as me" He laughed. "I'm kidding" He said and pokes his chest. "For an old guy, you aren't bad so" He shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno if we get to that age in here or we just die" He said. "Since we can't remember birthdays and such" The blonde exclaimed. He took his hand and shook it, looking him directly in the eye. "A new start sounds good to me" He said. "To new starts" He said glady with a charming grin on his face.

  I know it’s not. It’s just- I want to help, you know? And I know it’s not helping by completely rambling but… Habit. I’ll work on it. Oh, yes. It’s Kira. I’m Kira.

He still didn’t like the way Sean stood, the way he smiled. He didn’t know who he himself was, what he was supposed to be, what his place in society was, but he somehow felt the hadn’t been the man to bow down to bullies. And that was exactly what Sean seemed to be. Enjoying the confusion of someone who just arrived, quick to impress him with how good he was. He spread out his arms. “Not touching you, mate. I wouldn’t dream of it. Just keep your distance, and we’ll be fine, I hope. If I need to live my life here, I’d rather do that in peace. Without guys like you bothering me.” He really seemed mad, but somehow that didn’t scare him. Another piece of information that might help him find back who he had been, another piece of information he carefully stored in his brain. “Fine.” He looked back, still not backing of.” I think I’ll find my way.”

Sean coughs into his hand before looking around the glade. He did feel slightly guilty for treating the guy like this but someone had to be straight with him. Get him settled in and knowing what to expect from other people. This was all just an act. Kira was the person he was the most genuine too. "I don't know how you're are going to make riends with that sort of attitude" He said rolling his eyes slightly. "I was trying to be friendly but..alrightly. Just be lucky. Some people here are completely pathetic and run around like lost puppies. I hope you won't end up one of them" He said and licked his try lips. Sean now didn't know whether this act now or just leave the other male to dislike him. Either way he ignores opinions that other people may have about him. Him being a dumb blonde. All that muscle but nothing in the brain. "Hey,hey wait" Sean said and grabs him by the shoulder lightly to face him. "I'm sorry" He said simply he said and gazed into his eyes.

There must be something productive that I should be doing, right? I definitely shouldn’t be bored. I just don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing. Oh, dear.

  Everything in this guy made him stand up to him. He didn’t know why, he didn’t know what brought him to that, and he had the feeling it wasn’t a very good idea, but it just happened. He didn’t like the disdain this kid displayed against him. “Ah, so just by the sounds you already know how something looks? That’s a useful trait, kid. But I have to agree with you, good thing those doors are locked then…” The easy way he dismissed another Glader did kind of shock him, even though he had tried to kill another. Then he started laughing. “I have no idea who I was attracted to, earlier, kid, but I can not imagine it being boys with an attitude, kid.” He knew he had blown all his chances of continuing his tour, of getting any useful information, but it was the only way he could react. “And I think I would be able to find my own way around here as well, Sean. It’s not like this place is huge.”

Sean didn't know what it was about this man but he liked to make him confused. The expression on his face was priceless and just brought a smile to his face. "That's not what I meant. I've never seen them personally but that's what I've been told. Someone must have seen them while in the maze. I'm just not one of those people, got it?!" He said with slightly irritated tone coming out. Something about this guy was bring about the worst in him and he didn't like it. "Well I'd never say never. Clearly, in this sort of place you gotta keep your options open." He said ."Hey...Are you disrespecting me. Never harm another glader. Physical or emotionally, Greenie. You make this place any harder to live in and I'll break your neck" He growled. "But seriously. I'm not one you'll liked when I'm pissed off and to be honest, I don't think you'll like that side of me" He glared the man down directly into the eyes. "I was doing you a favor..but if you honestly insist to go by yourself. Get yourself in trouble, that's fine. It's not my funeral".

  Ok, he had to admit the kid in front of him knew how to break a message. He started laughing about the attempt at a joke. “Well, apparently they forgot to tell me either before I came here, so it’ll stay a mystery, I’m afraid.” He walked alongside with him, taking in his surroundings, the kids, at least, as far as he could see it they were mainly kids, doing their jobs in what seemed to be a pretty organized society. He shook his head when he heard what was supposed to be behind those walls, and he shuddered, not sure if he wanted to know all this. “But if no one ever saw them… how do they know it’s there and not just some kind of tale?” He didn’t like to take things for truth, just because someone said it, but he didn’t see how he had any choice in it. He wasn’t planning on showing Sean any kind of weakness. He didn’t know why, he just didn’t want that, so he kept his head high, kept his ground. Although he had to say he was impressed by the fact that the boy only had needed one hour to find his name back. It didn’t matter how deep he was searching in his brain, nothing was coming up. “That’s pretty impressive, Sean.” He did a step towards the boy. “I just don’t see how that has got anything to do with leadership abilities or being a nice guy.”

  Sean was one of those guys that left his options wide open. The guy didn't rule a single thing out. Any ideas about this place he wouldn't come of a final conclusion about it and therefore meant he didn't have any specific options about Glade. Follow instructions and making friends.  "I think that's the point old man" He called him again and rolls his eyes at him. Talking to someone older than him made him feeling like a representative  Slightly more important than others though he treated them all with respect in the end. "You can hear them at night sometimes. That's when they are active. Hence why the does are design to shut at night. So the Grievers don't get into Glade" He said. He was pretty knowledgeable about that topic. The guy being confident around him made him grin. It was like he was trying to impress him and he like that. A lot. "A boy was sent out into the Maze. Banished for attempting to murder another Glader. He was stung and a rare few have seen it's effects. The so we left him to the Grievers to deal with. They'll kill ya" He said with a plain expression on his face. "Well thank you" He said with a nod. "But with you getting this close, anyone would think you're attracted to me" He said with a smirk on his face. "I get it. Some of the ladies here I am one of those pretty boys with slightly less arrogance and the means to impress others" He chuckled. "And don't question my methods. It's not like people just volunteer to give newbies tours. Consider yourself lucky Mr"

  "A lab experiment? How would someone be able to get so many people to cooperate in something like this?" He had his doubts, didn’t want to be some giant lab rat. Everything inside of him protested by just the idea. "A job… fine… I should be able to do something. He looked at his hands, his arms, and saw that they were trained. Whoever he might have been, he must have been used to some physical labour." He shrugged when Sean asked him what he was good at. "I honestly have no idea. We’ll just have to see about that, won’t we?" Suddenly he shook his head, trying to see if he understood correctly what he had just heard… Maze? Grievers? "You’re telling me there’s a Maze out there? Why? And what the hell are Grievers?" He wasn’t planning on being threatened in his first hour here, and didn’t back off when Sean came at him. "No one will hear anything from me, ok. Step back!"

"Some people have there own takes on what this place could be. In all honestly I don't know a clue" The blonde said with sigh escaping his throat. He could tell this guy didn't feel comfortable with the scientific study idea. "To bad I don't remember, otherwise I'd be able to tell you " He said with a husky chuckle. The boy was roughly 16 on the verge to being 17."We'll see what you're good a later" He said. "You're pretty tall, that could help with the Builders" He said as he points to the builders in one side of Glad. "Yes A Maze. In my opinion I thought it was rather obvious" He said and puts his hand on his own hips. "Grievers are this creatures that live in the Maze. Nobodies seen one and lived to tell the tale but we know they are out there. I hear they a like metallic scorpion and beetle like creatures. Who is really in charge of this place must have sent them. He glared at Chris before looking the man up and down. "Get me in trouble Shank and your done for" He said. "Got it" He said and steps back. "Someone's gotta take leadership qualities. I'm sorry if I'm a little harsh. I'm a nice guy to some extent. Ask the others" He said as he looks around again. "I'm the one that got his name back in an hour of being here"

The boy was talking with some kind of arrogance he didn’t immediately liked. “O, don’t worry about that. I wasn’t thinking about how I compared with other. I’ve enough on my plate to find out for myself already. How can someone make us even forget our own names?” He looked around, trying to take in what he could, even though he felt he was on the verge of panicking. Somewhere inside him there was some kind of instinct keeping him upright, keeping him sharp. He didn’t know where that came from, but he was glad he had it. He took a deep breath, trying to hide his fear, his panic for Sean, not wanting to make a weak impression the moment he walked into this new society. “Please, show me…” The boy broke of a sentence, and it was that what made him curious. “What is it that you can’t tell me?” Maybe if he could just focus on what was going on here, he could forget his fear.

Sean stood taller and confident as he looked at the other man. He'd grown a good reputation here. Kind, funny but not at all to be messed with or gotten on the wrong side. In fact, he felt like he could be a better leader than the adults. "I think something happened to us. Maybe were lab experiment" He said with a chuckle. "But it doesn't matter man. We gotta give you a job or something. " He said. "I'm the Keeper of the Slicers. We slaughter the animals to get food ready" He said. "So what are you good at?" He asked with a curious expression on his face. Sean started to walk to The Homestead to start the tour. "Yeah. Homestead is first" He said and continues to walk before stopping his his tracks. "Listen up. It's not that I don't want to tell you. It's just your better of not knowing what's out there" He said. "The Maze. Filled with Grievers" He muttered. He walked closer to him and points his finger. "Don't you ever tell anyone I told you this information. Got it"

  "Lost?" He looked up at the boy standing in front of him. "I’ve got no idea where I am. Or who I am, for that matter…" He found out he couldn’t recall his name, couldn’t recall where he came from. He didn’t have memories at all, which was strange. Judging by how he looked, he wasn’t a child anymore, should have had a life. He rubbed the ring around his finger. A wife? Why couldn’t he remember anything about it? "The Glade, you say? And where might that be?" He looked at the boy, confused, not understanding half of what he said. "Shank? Did I miss something, somewhere?" Chris got out of the box, looking around, seeing a large field. Trees, houses, crops were shattered everywhere, but what immediately stood out where the walls. Giant, ivy covered walls. "And you say it’s not a prison, with those walls surrounding us?" He didn’t like where he was now, not one bit, and he was determined to find out where he was, who he was. "I’d like a tour yeah, if you’d want to."

Sean let a yawn escape his lip and stretches his arms out. He’d just got his first decent night of sleep since he’d arrived here. “That’s what happened to all of us. Don’t think your something special old man” He said with a brief laugh.”Yes. This place is called the Glade.” He nods his head slowly to answer his question.”If I knew that dude, I would have told ya” The boy says as he ran a finger though his blonde hair. “You’ll learn soon enough” He shrugged his shoulder. “There are 4 sectors to this place. The Gardens, Homestead,Deadheads and The Blood House” He said. “We are currently in the center of it all. The Box” He said. “I’ll show you around and try and remember what the jobs here are. I’m just not permitted to show you

The taller blonde boy approached the man with curious eyes. "Are you lost man?" He said and nods his head as he eyes him up and down. For an older guy, he wasn't bad looking. "This is Glade. Some think it's a prison. I see it as an adventure." He said and takes a look around the place. "See it how you wish. But there's now getting out of here right now shank" He smiled. He kind of forgot how quickly he learn the Gladers terms and vocabulary definitions. He must have been a quick learn in his past life."But anyway. Yo. My names Sean. I can show you around if you wish".

"An adventure, he says. But I suppose positiveness is a good idea in this situation."

The Nightmares | Sean Walcott

Sean already hated it here. The walls made him feel extremely claustrophobic. The beds, or mattress since they were hardly beds, were more than uncomfortable. He punched a wall early to show an outbreak of his anger. The Med-Jacks giving him a plaster on his knuckles to stop the bleeding. He’d tried his best to get to sleep but he was only to be awoken but a noise. Being a light sleep and little noise would probably wake him up. But this time, he wasn’t woken by a noise. He was woken up by his own nightmare. He leans up from the mattress to look around the room. He leans back down to rest his head on the pillow. Hopefully he hadn’t woken anyone up with his loud gasp for air. He grabs the side of the pillow and clenches it his hand. His shut ups eyes tight. He knew he wasn’t going to be able to get to sleep anytime soon. Not here.

Cora kneels in front of the boy, somehow capable of hearing his heartbeat despite the distance that was once between them. She rests a hand gently on his shoulder, trying to remain careful to avoid further intruding in his personal space. “Excuse me…” she tries to keep her voice quite by the small chance the boy was genuinely asleep and she was disturbing him. “What’s wrong” She avoided the cliche of ‘are you okay’ seeing as how the boy clearly was in a state of distress, and he most likely wouldn’t answer truthfully anyway. She gently shakes his shoulder to capture his attention just in case he somehow managed to sleep through her pitiful attempt at making conversation.

Sean continued to clench onto the blanket he hand and nearly let a tear run out of his eyes and sniffled his nose. He heard another voice and at first, he did nothing but ignore it but second time around, he knew whoever was there actually cared. “N-Nothing. I’m fine. You don’t have to pity me” He sighed and lets out a small cough. “I’m not a charity case” The dark blonde haired boy said as he turns the other way to look at her. “I’ll be fine..at least I think I will”

I don’t know if that’s weird. I have nothing to compare it to. I feel like it’s just on the tip of my tongue, but I can’t reach it. It’s so frustrating. What’s your name, then?

I’m not sure. I heard days back. I guess I’m just quick at this thing. My name’s Sean. I’m not 100% certain on it yet but I’m pretty sure it starts with an S. Sean just seems very, comfortable and familiar for me.

I got my name after a hour or so. Is taht weird. Nobody seems to know there and I got mine pretty quickly. That lady said it takes a couple of days
