This was taken at Tarlac Recreational Park last Youth camp. I would like to associate this picture with what Meb Keflezighi, U.S. Olympic marathoner said, "Like the marathon, life can sometimes be difficult, challenging and present obstacles, however if you believe in your dreams and never ever give up, things will turn out for the best." Looking back at the events I have attended in school. One of the most memorable would be Paskong Piyu. I got to attend this event organized by FEU where Tamaraws from various institutes showcase their talents. Tamaraws excel not just in academics but they were also talented in dancing and singing. Surely, I will miss this kind of events in FEU.

Another day passed. I want to thank God for this day for he gave me strength and wisdom as I have successfully taken most of my exams for finals. Here is a picture of the sunset at the bay in Mall of Asia. Also, Here is a poem that will inspire each of us in every sunset. Below is an excerpt of the poem by Jessica Millsaps. "You can still see a piece. A piece of something. Something never to return. A sunset. For the colors are shimmering. For a moment they stay. Only to disappear into change. Change just as beautiful as the last"
While browsing my photos, I found this one. This is one of the good days I had. I will surely miss this company once we graduate. Having said that, I want to share with you this beautiful poem by Khalil Gibran entitled Friendship IXX. And a youth said, "Speak to us of Friendship." Your friend is your needs answered. He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving. And he is your board and your fireside. For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace. When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "nay" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "ay." And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart; For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed. When you part from your friend, you grieve not; For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain. And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit. For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught. And let your best be for your friend. I am always amazed to people who can paint. That is why seeing these paintings made my heart pounding. I remember when we were asked by our Art Appreciation professor to visit places where we could find masterpieces of national artists in the Philippines I chose to go to Rizal because it is known as Art Capital of the Philippines. Angono has been popularly known as the cradle of the artistic abilities and creative expressions. For one thing, this lakeshore town has produced two National Artists; Lucio San Pedro for music and Carlos Botong Francisco for painting. My Angono Rizal visit was mesmerizing as I got to feel the emotions being conveyed into the artworks. I will always be in awe to these Filipino talents especially these Filipino artists. I want to share what Norman Rockwell said that the secret to so many artists living so long is that every painting is a new adventure. So, you see, they're always looking ahead to something new and exciting. The secret is not to look back. I hope I could carry on this principle.

Due to school requirements, I often miss reading the bible. But I am reminded by Hebrews 4:12 which says "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
As I take my last semester in school, I hold into God's word in James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." I know he is the author of wisdom so whatever results i will have are all because of him. 👆🏻

This was the last line the actor in the korean drama I watched uttered. I wanted to say to all youths out there that "YOU ARE AWESOME!"
The 3-day conference was indeed remarkable. I was able to meet and hear from well-respected linguists and researchers within the country and also across the borders. One of the profound knowledge I would not forget;thus, I wanted to share with you what Dr. Stefanie Shamila Pillai said that we need to shift our approach to research from grab to go to giving back to the community. By doing so, we are contributing to its betterment. Engaging ourselves to this kind of meaningful exchange of knowledge on language research is a way of strengthening and solving together issues in language. Let us continue our love for language 💕
