Jensen rubbed his eyes sleepily as he dragged himself off the plane. Everything hurt - his back, his shoulders, his neck, Everything. He wasn’t even able to enjoy the feeling of the ground under his feet. He just wanted to find Luka, get to the hotel, and pass the hell out until General Winter came to visit.
That was what the winter in Russia was called, right? He couldn’t even member.
He rolled his shoulders as he walked, slinging his carry-on over his shoulder and following after the people that were hurrying to the gates, all of them eager to see their friends and families. How they were so energetic, he had no idea. Maybe it had something to do with the terrible sleep he had gotten the night before after realizing everyone basically ditched him. Not that it was their fault, but damn.
Another yawn escaped him and he dug out his phone, turning it on and getting Luka’s texts just as he spotted his friend at the gate. He grinned lazily and held his phone up in a wave. “Luka!" He called over the chorus of voices from the other passengers.
He ran over to his friend and promptly punched his arm, a grin on his face. "Вы мудак. Как ты мог оставить без меня?" He asked, voice cheerful despite his words.
Luka beamed a wide smile his red eyes flickered to the direction of which Jensen’s voice called out, though he was greeted with a punch Luka only grinned at Jensen.
After rubbing his arm and acting as if the punch hurt more than it did he sighed, "Мне очень жаль, я не буду делать этого снова. Мое сердце было слишком одиноко без тебя в любом случае," he apologized sincerely.
Standing still Luka beamed another smile widely before dropping his sign as he hugged Jensen. The taller male even went as far as lifting him up into a tight hug, "Я скучал по тебе!" he said snuggling his a friend a bit. His heart raced and he felt the overwhelming rush of emotions flow through him like a rapid river.
With warm cheeks he lowered Jensen back down from the hug and threw his arms in the air, "Welcome to Russia!" he said trying to pull of his best American accent, though there was little success.
He could see the tired look on Jensen’s eyes and grinned, "Это будет лучше для вас, если мы вернемся в гостиницу. У нас есть радио-шоу, чтобы играть сегодня вечером," he spoke casually while grabbing Jensen’s hand pulling him to the baggage claim.
After retrieving his suitcase and finding the over the top car Luka’s red eyes seemed locked on his friend. “It’s warm today, so you won’t need hoodie. Everyone is out for sight seeing, I’ll take you later…you should probably rest some though…in a few hours…we have a big thing happening."
Stretching out some he pulled Jensen in close and nuzzled him playfully, “I will nap with you, if you’d like," he said in a breathy tone before chuckling. He was entirely in his element in Russia comfortable and relaxed, not to mention he hasn’t had a single “urge", nor had he heard or seen Euna; and now to make it even better, Jensen was finally here.
Leaning in once more his lips curled into a sly smile and he said softly, "У меня еще есть подарок для вас, вы знаете," his voice rang out smoothly before Luka kissed Jensen’s cheek.
Straightening back up Luka’s gaze was directed back out the window and he again admired his homeland.
Goddamn it. Luka always had a way of acting like an overly affectionate dog one minute, and then an incredibly attractive--wow, no, he wasn't going to go there. Not even for a moment. Jensen, face red, rolled his eyes and shoved Luka, shifting his dufflebag on his shoulder to try and keep it from slipping.
He looped his arm with Luka's and looked around, squinting at sign with an arrow on it and trying to decipher the Russian text on it. Baggage claims. That was where his beloved guitar and suitcase would be, right? Unless things were very different in Russia anyway.
"Пойдем. Мне нужно, чтобы мой чемодан и гитаре." He said, following the sign.
It didn't take them long to get to the baggage claims, and even less time for him to grab his belongings. He batted his eyes at Luka and asked sweetly, "Можете ли вы нести мой чемодан для меня? Я дам вам хорошую награду позже, если вы делаете." He smiled at him, biting his lower lip as he failed to take even himself seriously. "Hehe. I'm joshin' ya. I can carry it."
