Clint's farm fics? Particularly this one I've been looking for where (maybe it's Nat that drops Bucky off) and Clint sets him up in the barn at first because he's the Winter Soldier and he doesn't trust him. I think he might have a daughter or niece or something? Any ideas?

That said, Clint can still be a (depressed) bit of a fuck-up in life without it being a sign of a lack of intelligence.
Clint Barton is anything but dumb: heâs been the leader of multiple teams (west coast avengers, thunderbolts) and in New Avengers when doctor strange showed everyone what their inner self was like clints was Captain America. Also Tony tried to get him to be the new captain America when Steve was killed at the end of civil war (Clint said no).
Also also Clint Barton is the only charicter in the marvel and Dc universes to be a card carrying member of both the justice league and the avengers (marvel and Dc did a couple crossovers in the late 80s early 90s).
Also also also when Osborn was running shield (he renamed it hammer) Clint had enough and took on Osborn and his dark avengers by himself and actually stood his own making it all the way past venom, Daken and Songbird before being stoped only because Osborn had like an energy shield to protect him from being shot.
Clint does however get depressed and does become a functioning mess. And more recently he does like to play up that functioning mess act so that people get lulled into a false sense if security.
But make no mistake; Clint Barton is a BAMF. (Soemtimes a depressed functioning mess BAMF but still).

Summary: Following the events of Civil War, Steve and the rest of the Rogues are taken care of in Wakanda while Shuri works to de-program the Winter Soldier. Shortly after, Steve and Tony come back together to work through their shit and team up to ratify the Accords and bring the team in front of the UN in an effort to let the dust settle and move forward.
As a result, the Rogues are put on house arrest. Bucky, on the other hand, succumbs to a harsher punishment due to public outcry and political maneuvering. Guilt-ridden and unwilling to fight for himself, Bucky accepts a plea deal and is sent to be imprisoned on the Raft for two years before spending the rest of his life on probation.
The good friend that he is, Steve convinces the rest of the team to write to Bucky in order to stave off loneliness. Bucky finds most of the letters contrite, painful, or meaningless. But there's something about Barton's that makes him write back...

When the Winter Soldier is brought in to help train at the Red Room, the sight of young girls (âthe same age as Beckaâ he thinks, then canât remember who Becka was) fighting and killing one another shocks him into making a bid for freedom.Â
He manages to take one of the girls with him, a nine year old with bright red hair and a wicked way with knives.
They are nearly cornered in Budapest, until one of the freelance assassins contracted to kill them helps them instead.
Somehow he manages to get a gravely injured Soldier and an exhausted Natalia to his safest safehouse, a rundown farmhouse in IowaâŚ

I know this one! That person is specifically referencing the second story in mandarouâs Dishonor series, That is Not a Cow! The series is Stucky as a whole (and the second story doesnât make a lot of sense without the first fic, Dishonor on Your Cow), but there are some Winterhawk bits peppered in the second fic.

Its been awhile since I've read it so yeah details are a bit blurry but its a fic where Clint&Bucky (and maybe Tony aswell idk anymore) accidentally travel through alternative universes and the battery of the thing dies and needs to charge everytime and they go from war, to evil!steve, to post!apocalyptic stuff (where they get betrayed by themselves in a way) and winterhawk is in some ways always a constant
