4) Attaching glasses to profiles The glasses are fitted according to the plans . As a temporary solution, the glasses are attached mechanically to the profiles with the materials called klepa. The only objective of klepa is to ensure that the glasses stay there for a certain period of time. Then the klepas will be detached and the glass covers will be installed. The glass façade will be worn outside the cantilevers..

Glass The glasses we use in Göztepe Education and Research Hospital consist of 2 species. One is a type of glass with a filler material between the two pieces of glass we call heat glass. The other glass is called the single glass and has a dark glass finish on it. The inside of the heat glasses has a filling material between the inside of the flat glass and the tempered glass on the outside. The thickness of the inner and outer side glasses are 4 mm.The filling material between them is 16 mm. Tempered glass is 4 times more durable than normal glasses. 200 degree heat change. When the tempered glass breaks , it breaks into very small pieces that do not scatter around and cause no injury. For this reason tempered glass is used on the outside of the glass and flat glass is used on the inside. Stone wool is not installed in front of the heat glass. As already understood from the name, the heat glasses are heat-proof and they show inside and outside because they are transparent. The stone wool to be placed behind will not make sense. Why heat glass? -thermal insulation -Sun control -noise control -safety / security

3) Installation of plates in profiles and stone wool installation ( tava ve taş yünlerinin montesi ) The plates are attached to the profiles after they have been fitted to the correct elevation and after the settings have been made. These plates are steel with a thickness of 1 mm. And galvanized. Long life. Galvanization (or galvanizing) is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, which is submerged in a bath of molten zinc. The purpose of this material is to keep the stone wool material in a safe manner. Mineral wool is a general name for fiber materials that are formed by spinning or drawing molten minerals (or "synthetic minerals" such as slag and ceramics). [1] Applications of mineral wool include thermal insulation (as both structural insulation and pipe insulation), filtration, soundproofing, and hydroponic growth medium.

This material does not show burning properties up to 1500 degrees. These materials are adhered to plates with an intermediate material called isopim. Note: it is not recommended to touch this material with bare hands.

2) Assembling the profiles and attaching them to the facades.(Profillerin Cephelere Asılması)

Profiles come in pieces to the site area. Later, the workers carry them one by one, and then attach them to the front. Are combined with anchors. What matters here is that each piece is attached to one another. Because they have different codes between themselves. Therefore, the categorization should be done in the correct way and joining process should be done.

Today I will try to give you informations about the installation of the facade. I will explain this step by step.

1) Anchorage (Ankraj)

Firstly, anchors are fitted mechanically (with the aid of screws) to the concrete at regular intervals. The task of these anchors will be to keep/carry the profiles on the facades.

I have not been around for a long time. School is over and I have gone for a while. When I returned, I started a 40-day internship at Göztepe education research hospital. I started the Aygün Alüminyum company and they do facade works. Because I think facade is an important factor and I believe that every architect can see the site(şantiye), I started the internship here. Now the first week is over and I learned a lot about the dressing front, even for a short time.

note: i know in this photo the quailty is low ( coz my phone got some issues now ) and not everything is clear from this perspective. from this day until i finish my intternship, i’ll share every details that i learn about facade or anything else with their photo . i hope it will be enjoying and helpful for all of us.

I like this kind of movement in building. It looks so good. And it rescues the building from being boring i guess.

I guess i solved it.. We'll see on friday when we take critics.. Hopefully it will be okay :)

Trying to solve mathematical relation between those floors. And of course trying my circle stair to fit in it. By the way the shape of the building looks like stick out one's tongue as my mentor said before.. :(
