Drunk with Ego

this was posted just a few moments ago on the IMVU-Gossips page. As you can see in the post...these people are literally “drunk with ego and some form or made up power they have over people on this site”..why they want to do this to people is beyond me...how people can be this nasty...this cruel...to another human being..and be ok with it..clearly they need some mental help.

Obsession with Drive?

Many seem to be interested in Drive@IMVU’s life/every move. In a nutshell the guy was marked as a f*ckboy, a player, and just a no good hooligan basically. Now I’m not entirely sure what of all those posts were actually him but if it was him, he went back and forth with not only the page but readers of the page. Also thanks to “IMVU-Gossips” his personal social media information was released to the public to harass and bother him, and his relationship was put in jeopardy until it finally ended recently due to postings on that page. What that page sees “fair” about that I’ll never know. I don’t blame him for wanting to leave. Though I am sure he will be back. Lets face it..no one ever leaves IMVU forever.

Top 5 things wrong with IMVU Gossips

I again am not trying to “bash the page” simply posting my opinion on the holes in their system. If they are very serious about their page they’d be open to criticisms that they could work on to make their page better for its readers. I have not been attacked on this page so I have no reason to be malicious. 

1. They are using information from scorned, and vengeance filled users..its not really a expose as it is a “public humiliation page” 

2. They have no way of keeping track of who is actually saying what on their page..literally anyone can go anonymous and say something like “Oh my gosh expose me I dare you” and quote it with ANY user on IMVU. Will the page even try to keep track of that? Nope

3. They stay anonymous when they say they are for entertainment purposes only. I mean you guys must know that your readers want to know who you are..give them what they want.

4. They contradict a lot of what they say “we are done posting about user A, B, and C”...a few posts later...bam a post about user A is up and fresh as ever.

5. This one is a little nit picky but their grammar and spelling. I don’t know about you guys but it severely annoys me when a page or a group pride themselves in being someone professional...yet can’t be bothered to do a simple spell/grammar check..simply irritating.

IMVU Glitching Out

Its back and its a giant pain in the fanny...IMVU is glitching out for many and where is IMVU in this? Silent as a corpse unfortunately. I mean...with how much money IMVU makes off of its users (through fair and unfair means) you’d think it could afford to keep the servers in top shape for use. But for the last 2 weeks or so this odd glitching has been happening where not only has it become annoying trying to use the site, but its becoming impossible. Where are you IMVU? Why are you not fixing the problem. Its been not days but weeks this has been getting worse. At least give us some kind of message: maintenance? A breech in security? Did you guys fall on your heads?. Whatever the reason its quite irratating that IMVU has yet to fix this issue when it seems it hasn’t been a problem in the past.

IMVU Gossips

If you don’t already know there is a very popular page up on tumblr right now that is claiming to expose other users of the site IMVU. Just to keep readers up to date the page was up originally either Thursday, 14th of July or Friday, 15th of July. The page gained popularity after a few female users’ nudes were “leaked”. Why was this page created? Was it really because they just want to expose the nasty part in people for all to see? Or is their a deeper rooted issue with the people running it? Why did they feel they needed to make this page. Its rather successful now so I don’t feel its going to be ending anytime soon until users well....just stop caring. Stop replying, stop “leaking information on others”. However that may be a waaays away since..well we can all admit...we all love to see a little drama here and there. Its why we watch films/shows. If there were no problems or obstacles, it would be boring. 

Though I can’t say I really agree with their methods of gaining some of their information considering a lot of it is coming from bias people who just want to get back at someone who scorned them. Its the perfect revenge. Public humiliation. The creators of this page claim its for “entertainment” only. Though I personally think there is something else going on deeper there. Though they won’t care what I think and I don’t expect them to. However, if they want to keep things balanced they may want to put themselves on the same level as to not show cowardice in staying anonymous. Its only fair considering many users are having their lives (along with dodgy and highly bias information) for all to see. I don’t think the admins of this page would be as eager to post or write these bios, exposes, etc...if everyone knew who they were. 

But for that to happen they would have to actually have the understanding...that they would then have to sit in their victims shoes...and who wants to do that. I know I don’t. Still..if you want to be completely unbiased, you might as well put yourself into it. Until they show who they are I too will stay anonymous. Not that I’m hurting anyone in doing so. But follow examples I suppose. Also quick disclaimer, I do not have issue with the “gossiper magazine..thing”. I am not on it. I am but a reader who sees a few holes in how they run things. That’s all. Just wanted to put my thoughts out there. Thanks for reading♥
