What unnerves Nam Joohyuk, one might ask? Amongst a lot of small and insignificant matters came the deal breaker – acting. He wasn’t sure himself what prompted him to delve deep into that field but despite the initial jitters, the end result was almost always good. It helped him garner more accolades which helped him prove the critics that termed him as “just another pretty boy” wrong. It was shaking off a typical stereotype that gave him immense satisfaction. And here was another start to a drama and his co-actor was supposedly a famous idol from a well loved girl group. If grapevine was to be believed, Joohyuk was naught but a rookie and this was his stress factor of the day. The male strode up and down outside the intended meeting room where he was to meet her.

Today, Yoona was anxious. That feeling was an old friend of her, appearing with every news of her starting a new project. But not because she didn’t like acting — no, actually, she loved it. The actual reason could be contained in two simple words: idol actress. Being one, Yoona was bound to receive twice the criticism of regular actors before even doing anything. Ever since her first leading role, the public eye sees her only as another pretty girl forced to act by her company. However, with this drama she decided to work hard and change that. She wanted to be acknowledged for her skills, not her looks. With these heavy thoughts still lingering in her head, she suddenly stood up and marched towards the door, determined to find some water in the unfamiliar building. But to her surprise, after opening the door, instead of a wide hallway, she found a tall, slender boy standing right before her. “Oh! I’m sorry I didn’t— I was just going to—” She tried her best to form a sentence, but, unfortunelly, due to the shock and the nervousness it just didn’t seem to work. Giving up, she just sent an awkward smile up to the male.
