I’m thinking of settling down in a far remote area where no one knows me. As long as I have my book and my laptop with me, I’ll live. These past few days my mind is now casting forward, my mind living my actual presence, where I am. I’m still thinking back how’s life back there, and I still miss the beach. Hoping someday I can come back.

At the beginning of 2022, I used to cry so damn hard because I miss Botolan. The people, the food, the scenery. Seems like my body was present but my mind casting back to my best vacation there, my mind is absent. I kept on remembering all the fun and good times plus the people I met. I literally get sad of just the thought that looking at those pictures I took ache me. Because I want to drag myself there, live there already, and rest in peace. But I can't. I can't do it for now.

Maybe it's also because I'm hormonal that time. Stupid hormones always making me so damn emotional.

What a unique black sand the province of Botolan, Zambales had. I wish that their leaders will protect their natural resources.

This is the perfect sunset for me at the right place, Botolan. I'll never forget it, it'll always have a special place in my heart.

I'm with my favorite person, with his loved ones and soon mine too, plus I enjoy the good company, stories shared, food we munched, how the sun sets, the crashing waves. It was so perfect, that moment. Time seems frozen. Wanna stay right there forever.

It's Sunday~ the first day of a new week. Oh, and how fast! It'll be the last week of Jan 2022. Before you know it, "ber months" is on its way.

I'm so ready for this new week. I want to make it better, be better, live better. I hope more good things and blessings to come.

In her memoria blog stands for memories that I can freely capture and keep on my heart. So that when I have this longing, missing, melancholic feelings again, I can go back and revisit the places, the memories, the people, the things, the scenes, all at once. 

At some point in our lives, there are moments we wish that lasts. As if we want to stay right then and there at that very perfect moment. Ignoring gravity and reality as if none else matters.

I treasure every waking moments, whether blissful, meh, solitary, lonely, cold, painful, ache, ---- I want to take a picture of that and save it forever.

After all, isn’t it better to reminisce good thoughts and memories rather than to get anxious and overthink about the unknown future?

This photo was at least four years old. It was from a road garden at UP Diliman. What a delight to see these sunflowers waving at me!
