Well... If you are really upset about Tumblr’s new policy, and are worried about loosing all your favorite “likes” and Tumblr blogs... then, I highly recommend you download and start using TumblThree.  I’ve already backed up all my “likes”, and many other of my favorite Tumblr Blogs.  Still trucking along.   Just make sure you have a lot of space available to download to.  ;)
