Bottom image is mainly talking about TPOM than AHKJ

though that’s not to say AHKJ doesn’t also write him funny sometimes, it feels like the writers of TPOM watched one clip of him (probably the clip of him being sedated by Dubois) and was like ‘yep! We got this!’. I’m mainly uncomfortable with the amount of comments and jokes made about his ‘booty’, and also that no one thinks it’s creepy that Mort is at least 50 years older than him. Watching the Movies after watching the shows, I really notice how TPOM especially messed up his character. At least in AHKJ he could read and write. He wasn’t even that dumb in the movies, more so just oblivious. Also why is there at least three instances in TPOM where he needs to be rescued by the penguins, when in AHKJ he was able to defend himself from a pack of Fossa to save his people.

King Julien and Clover in winter gear (Despite it currently being July)

King Julien’s crown is actually a Kokoshnik, which is a Russian garment. I think it fits him very well. I was gonna also draw Maurice and Mort but I don’t like drawing them so I ended up just doing the king and Clover. I hope you enjoy my more detailed art of them.
