But, it was because I was out playing P5,

Thus far, I love it, and it’s renewed my love for the Persona series! I will return eventually, with small bits of activity here and there as I find time for them. Hopefully I’ll be able to complete my blog’s overhaul during that time.

Yasoinaba - 2002 - Samegawa Flood Plain

Finally escaping the grasp of the worker from the Inn who was supposed to watch her, the young heiress to the Amagi Inn hid in the tall grass as the woman called for her. Finally growing tired of searching, she told the girl that she would stay on the bench closest to the way back to the Inn once she wanted to go home. It was the only way to get free time from the adults. That was, until she felt the presence of someone looking at her. Yukiko Amagi turned and saw what looked like a young adult wrapped tightly in a blanket.

“W…Who are you?!” Was her only words that she squeaked out of nervousness. It wasn’t common for children to be taken from Inaba, but with the kind smile that was on his face Yukiko was at ease somewhat. “Are you cold?” It was spring yet a very nice sunny day outside, so it confused the small girl on why he was in a blanket. “Or do you need some money?”

Yasoinaba - 2011 - Yasogami High

As classes got out for the day, Yukiko Amagi was waiting for a certain boy who was also in her class to come downstairs and walk with her. It had been a month since the last kidnapping, yet he was pulling them into the TV World all of the time. Only the team, Yosuke, Chie, and Kanji as well as herself knew of his time traveling powers. 

Looking up the steps, she smiled softly at the leader as he started to put his shoes on as well. Yukiko had known him for years compared to everyone else. It was strange having him truly living in Inaba instead of just popping by for a visit to the little girl who despised being cooped up in the stuffy Inn. Many a time, he had come to see her, letting her know when she’d see him next.

Knowing was half the battle, as well as ‘borrowing’ clothes from her mother’s room that was once her father’s. He left long before she had met Yu Narukami, but somehow he knew that the clothes would fit him somewhat comfortably. “Will you walk me home, Yu?” A blush on her face starting to blossom. “Maybe we can stop at our favorite spot before going inside?”

Yasoinaba - 2017 - Apartment of Amagi Yukiko

Staring at the giant TV that was alone in one of the few rooms of the apartment, the once heiress to the Inn sighed heavily. Twisting the ring that was given to her two years before, a promise of sorts that seemed to be have long-been forgotten. “You should’ve been back by now.” She muttered while glancing at the clock on the wall. 

Yuki was flustered, knowing she should just give up and forget about making the dinner that she had planned. It was an anniversary of sorts for the two of them. The day the two had met all those years ago, yet know she could barely pull him away from being inside the TV realm.

Looking back at the TV one more time, Yukiko knew it was going to be another night alone. Researching and looking into a way she could pull her once fiancé back to the real world. Grasping for a quick meal of instant noodles, she felt someone appear behind her. 

“Yu?” As arms wrapped around her, she could tell he was younger than the one she longed for to come home. Tears began to fall slowly, just being touched by him was all she wanted. Yet she knew he wasn’t going to be here long. “D..Do you want to put some clothes on?”

  [YASOINABA] - 2002 - Samegawa Flood Plain

[Age: 35]

  It happened again. In a blink of an eye Yu was transported from his home and into the open fields of the flood plains. A shiver runs down his spine as the morning chill hits his bare skin, though the day was fairly sunny. Though the effects were mostly routine at this point of his life the poor fool had never really gotten over the initial first few seconds of panic that set in after another jump. 

  His eyes quickly scan the plains, eventually spotting a blanket left unattended by a former park-goer and makes a dash for for it, before some random bystander takes notice of him. He breaths a sigh of slight relief as he finally gets it around himself, bunking down in some nearby shrubbery to contemplate his next move. How long would he be here? When would he jump back? These questions shoot rapid-fire through his head before the voice of a young girl breaks him from his trance.

  Before him, stood the visage of a young Yukiko Amagi. The facial features he knew were yet to fully develop, but the red hairband was a dead give away. He pauses in surprise at her sudden arrival, but her line of questioning finally answers his earlier questions.

“W…Who are you?!”

  This was their first meeting...of course. He spent so much time coping with his condition, popping in from one point of time to another, many of which he would cross paths with a certain priestess, a comforting constant in a lifetime of uncertainty, always greeting him with a smile. Little did this girl would know, years from now, she would become his wife.   But for now, he kneels down, still doing his best to keep both hidden from others, and keep the blanket around his still bare form. It would spell instant trouble if he was found by another adult now. He smiles, genuinely happy to see her, despite the uncomfortable situation and attempts to speak gently as to not scare her off.

“N-No, I’m just cold...and I could use your help. My name is Narukami, Narukami Yu.”

[YASOINABA] - 2011 - Yasogami High School

[Age: 16]

  The bell resonates throughout the school, a myriad of students exit their classrooms and make their way to their respective lockers, among them, a young Yu Narukami. On his way to his locker, he locks eyes with his constant, Yukiko, both of them meeting at their lockers, readying themselves for their trip home.

  He greets her with his usual smile, all the while, thoughts of his next jump haunting him in the back of his mind. He rested a little more easily when he moved to Inaba, able to confide in a few of his friends his secret condition. Together they were able to plan contingencies for when he would disappear, and the feeling of having people behind him for support was...very comforting indeed. 

“Will you walk me home, Yu?” “Maybe we can stop at our favorite spot before going inside?”

  His smile only widens at Yukiko’s suggestion. He felt it would do him some good to go out and enjoy himself, get his mind off of his worries. But, before he has the chance to answer, his visage fades, his clothes dropping to the ground, his body no longer among them. His next jump had come sooner than he thought...

[Age: 18]

  Of all the seasons he could have jumped back to, it had to be in the middle of Winter...

  He had spent the last hour attempting to traverse his way though Junes in the dark, unable to find a light switch of some kind to light his way. He eventually is able to track down the set of clothes he asked Yosuke to leave for him for just such an occasion. The fool sighs in relief, the warmth of the track suit enveloping him, an instant comfort compared to the winter cold of the night, but just as he is getting comfortable, his body fades again, and his newly found track suit drops to the floor.

[YASOINABA] - 2017 - Yukiko Amagi’s Apartment.

[Age: 18]

  His arms wrap around his body, expecting the surge of cold that usually came with his sudden appearance. Normally a jump left him outside, somewhere in Inaba, naked, shivering from the loss of his clothes during the transfer to the past or future, but to his surprise, it wasn’t all that cold.

Around him was a neatly kept apartment, lightly furnished, with plenty of space to move, almost as if it were prepared for a guest’s arrival. The neat arrangement of the furnishing reminded him of that of a local Inn that was kept by a certain priestess....

...And that was when he saw her. Though she stood facing away from him, there was no mistaking the form of his constant. Still though unease filled him, perhaps something to do with the unfamiliar setting, but he did find comfort in seeing her.
