Another commission I had done by the incredibly talented Ruvel Abril! I absolutely adore the way he interprets Levi. I think his style fits Levi so well, and the concept of this piece felt unique with us getting to see Levi in a moment of repose. I love the details of the background and Levi's clothing. You really get a sense of the lushness of the greenery around Levi and the peace of the moment. Thank you so much Ruvel!

If there's one thing that the ending of Levi's story in AoT has exposed, it's that a lot of people in this fandom have an ugly ass bias toward disabled people.

And if there's one thing that the School Castes post-credit scene has exposed, it's that a lot of people in this fandom have an ugly ass bias toward short people.

Sorry guys, Levi is disabled at the end of canon, and no, he's not taller or "healthier" in the School Castes clip. He's just a short man and there's nothing wrong with that.

Just had this amazing piece commissioned! From the amazing Ruvel Abril, an artist out of the Philippines. I asked for two pieces of Levi, one from the raid on Liberio and the other from the end of the series, and Ruvel had the brilliant idea of combining the two to contrast one another, showing Levi at two different points in his life. I really adore the way he rendered the intensity and power of Levi in full on fight mode, in the first image on the left, and the peaceful, almost serene quality we see in Levi at the end of the series on the right, with him looking hopefully toward the sky, despite the ravaged world at his back. I also love the Easter eggs of the tree on the hill in the background, along with the Beast Titan. Just amazing detail in the whole piece. It's truly like an homage to Levi. Art measures 17X22 inches, done in pencil and ink.
