Went to my first ever TFCon and helped my friend @inaliakitsune in the artist alley!
I know so many people were upset at the overwhelming amount of attendees let in on Saturday and the constant bumping and pushing and lack of spacial awareness- but I wanted to say this (before I keep driving home it's Monday and I've got a break to eat before I keep going).
I had an amazing time. Meeting so many artists and fans of the franchise, seeing how sweet and kind people can be to one another and trying to be courteous at the tables really took me back to my old school family friendly anime con days in my very young twenties.
I yapped so much and had an amazing time with the people I roomed with (I'm so sorry for snoring!) and at no point did I feel like a burden to anyone like I end up feeling when I go to other events.
I think how much you enjoy some events can really depend on the people you attend with, and who is in your room. I'm so grateful for everyone being so kind and welcoming and open. I'm already sad that it's over and really want to attend again, and have even more fun!

This is going to be a little long and I apologize.
I moved into my current apartment on 5/3/2024 and was not made aware of any issues with the landlord/realty company. Everything between them and the housing authority has been fine since I moved in.
I have had multiple instances where contacting the realtor to get plumbing fixed (it keeps backing up and no idea why) has gone unanswered until I start bugging them up the wazoo and getting slightly upset over being left without any communication/left on read.
The plumbing has been an issue 3 times now one of which I had been away for TFCon with no issues before leaving only to come back to it clogging a week later with no explanation as to why? There are a total of 3 apartments here but I am the only resident as of March.
4/23/2025 ( a day before the lease was due in order to validate it for rent payments in May) I contacted the realtor over text as it is second to their preferred contact method and they did not reply. Again on 4/25/25 and same no response.
I called on 4/28 and got a receptionist. She said my realtor hadn't been in the office, wanted to read over it first to make sure nothing was different and then sign it. Mind you they've been sent it multiple times since 4/3 and still did not do that?
I contacted housing at this point and they started trying to get ahold of her. According to the program head he was sent to voicemail every time he called and all other communications attempts have been ignored. He's also having problems with this realtor in regards to others.
I text the realtor again on 4/29 to follow up with my phone call and got nothing. On 4/30 I texted them AGAIN and stated I didnt appreciate being left on read and they finally replied to me and said they would get ahold of her and give me an update. I got nothing by end of day.
So I messaged them a second time of 4/30 to follow up before their office closed and once again no reply ( i messaged half an hour before closing time).
At this point I do NOT have a valid lease and have to start exploring other options, the biggest being I need to move and ASAP but I dont have the funds to do so as I've been unemployed and fighting my delivery job for a name change that should have been done months ago.
I am disabled and my health is worse than it has ever been. I'm also legit trying to get enrolled for college classes so this is a lot. I dont have the ability to move myself in 3-6 months well let alone 1 month. I have no one near me to help, no truck or uhaul for big furniture.
I have heard things that make me believe getting my security deposit back is going to be a damn near fight if not impossible and I have no way to get another one together for a new rental elsewhere. Not without help.
I am spending the day talking to housing, trying to contact my landlord and preparing for the very real possibility that I need to move and NOW. There's also some safety concerns voiced but others when they've gotten to this point with this realtor so I'm also exploring options in regards to keeping myself, my cat and my belongings safe just in case.
If you can help out at all with all of the funds I need to move I need at least $2,000 USD. If I can get at least $1,500 for a Uhaul, gas and a new security deposit then I will try to figure out the rest myself. If you cant help then please don't stress yourself.

I currently have close to half of the security deposit, but I still need a minimum of $600 more to get the rent paid on top of that for the month so I can move in. After that my housing voucher will take back over.

DRIFTS HAIR??? I love his hair omg, I feel like, and maybe I’m wrong, he would do a lot of things with his hair ie. put it up, braid it, style it, etc constantly
