Sitting with her back to the wall, Aphrodite carefully peruses the selection of clitoral vibrators the online version of The Loose Caboose has to offer. There are simply too many to choose from, their function capabilities as different as good and bad. And doing so in full view of anyone who fancies a cup of coffee and a pastry isn't exactly the best of choices. But her own level of embarrassment has already nearly been whittled away to nothing over the years — to the point that she's practically indifferent to the fact that the young girl sitting one table over with her parents is currently fixated on her screen, probably curious as to what she's doing. Out of all the goddesses who’d once inhabited Mount Olympus, she probably had the least in common with Aphrodite. Some would even say they were polar opposites. “Do I really need a reason to want a bobcat? I simply find them precious and unique.”

At Artemis’s comment, Aphrodite stifles the urge to roll her eyes. She’s not exactly her most favorite goddess in their pantheon, but neither is she the least. She’s just ... one of many — but at least she wasn’t part of the mockery crew responsible for making her feel so low during her most shameful and vulnerable time. 

 ❛   WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT?  ❜   she gives the other goddess an unamused look, complete with folded arms and pursed lips.  ❛  YOU COULD FIND THE STARS PRECIOUS AND UNIQUE TOO — BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU INTEND TO CAPTURE A FEW FOR YOUR OWN.  ❜   But then Artemis may actually try to do such a thing. Who knows with her?
