She’d sent an SOS to every contact in her phone with a drop of a pin. No true indication of what the actual problem was. Hopefully that meant they’d hurry. Her car had gone to shit on her, which was to be expected given how old it was and the number of times she’d brought it into the garage. With a groan, the brunette rolled the windows down and settled herself in the back seat with her feet dangling out of the window. She must have dozed off, hearing the sound a car rumble nearby. The street had been deserted as it was in a wooden area on one side and a lake on the other. Pushing open her door, she jumped out with a big grin on her face. “My lifesaver! You’ve come to rescue me. We both know I’d be the first girl to die in a horror movie.”
