the hate for rings of power annoys me so much! it feels like people have to obsessively hate on everything these days. Every adaptation has to have people crying about how the previous one was better. A new show that's based on a time period in the books for which there is very little text available? Yeah they must stick to every single thing or else it's terrible, even if the changes might be interesting.

the potential of albert and haydee falling in love and edmond and mercedes having to meet each other again and again for the rest of their lives, trying not to remember what once was or what they could've been but it's so so hard and edmond wishing to avoid her but sometimes they just have to meet and pretend they can be friends and it doesn't hurt as much but it does!
