Hi, I'm El 👋🏻. This is my little blog. You can find anything from rambles, thoughts, drabbles, headcanons, and stories to a couple mental health posts.
I started this blog to share my love of Call of Duty with you guys, but I'm branching out into other fandoms. Any pronouns - Aroace.
The characters I write for include, Simon "Ghost" Riley, John "Soap" MacTavish, Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, Captain John Price, Alejandro Vargas, Rodolfo Parra, Kate Laswell, Alex Keller, Gary "Roach" Sanderson.
There are a few rules before requesting that I hope you'll read before dropping by.
Firstly, I won't write smut. I will consider it for Character x Character if I'm comfortable. Won't write for rape, non-con, cheating of a character I'm writing for, etc. No OC's or anything other unless previously discussed. Crossovers are iffy unless they come from me.
I will however write for anything platonic or romantic. Sexual undertones are okay and little things like a choking kink here and there are fine, as long as it isn't sex. I'm fine writing for gore, angst, torture, pregnancy, family, any aus, etc.
This list will be constantly updated if it needs to be. For now these are all the things I can think of that fit in these lists.
In the vast outskirts of the planet Kerwan, Y/n had been spending the last 2 years in search of someone like them... A Lomabx. But the Lombax species to your knowledge, has been extinct for years. Leaving you to believe you are the only one left.
The last failed search left you almost hopeless. Your adoptive father could see the sadness on your face when you landed the ship in the garage. When there were moments when you needed to think or just needed to be alone, you would head up to the roof of the building. He followed you and began climbing the ladder up. His age is almost getting the better of him.
"I'm getting too old for this," he tried to joke. It got a chuckle out of you, but it didn't last long.
"Should've known that book was a dud" You sighed as your father sat beside you.
"Hey... You didn't know" He had been supportive of you trying to find anyone for the past 2 years. "Besides, you learnt a lot about them"
You shook your head and rested your chin on your knee. "I should've dreamed smaller... leads to less disappointment." A tear ran down your face. You felt an arm wrap around your shoulders as he brought you to his side.
"You will find them... I know it"
About a week later.
"Y/n, I need you to go into Metropolis and get a few things for me ?? The bolts are on the counter" That task would change your life.
The city bustled with life, hovercars zipping past skyscrapers, and the streets below were springing awake as people went about their daily lives. A heroic duo landed their ship on the planet, ready for some R&R.
"It has been some time since we visited Metropolis. Do you suppose we will remain unnoticed this time ??" Clank chuckled his iconic laugh as Ratchet gently slung him on his back.
"Knowing our luck, not a chance. But hey, at least we'll be able to relax for today" He walked into the central district.
"I beg to differ that we will find the chance to relax"
"100 bolts, you're on" Ratchet betted.
Nearby, Y/n landed at a fuel station, getting ready to head back home. But as they were about to go inside and pay, they saw the nearby TV light up with a news article about this duo who stopped someone... Your eyes widened as the story was drowned out.
"No way..." A lombax !!
As the duo weaved through the crowd, something caught the corner of Ratchet's eye. It couldn't be. A familiar ear outline, tail and stripes. "Clank... Do you see what I'm seeing ??" He held Clank up to help him.
He looked around before spotting you, even he was surprised. "Indeed. Another Lombax, Ratchet... This could be..."
The news article talked about their last sighting in Metropolis, they could still be here. You acted fast, rushing inside and placing the bolts on the counter before heading outside. "PUMP 5 !!" You called before jumping onto the ship.
"H-hey wait !! Hold on !!" Ratchet pleaded for you to stop, but the ship's hatch was already sealed and the engine was flaring. Dust scattered across the area. Ratchet coughed, shielding his eyes as your ship took off. "Aw, c'mon really !!"
The search for one another turned into almost a wild goose chase, spending hours scouring the city to find one another. The sun was starting to set and you landed to call your dad.
"I'm sorry, I know. I'll be home soon, I promise" You reassured as you hung up, sitting near a statue of the legendary Captain Qwark. Sighing as you rubbed your face in annoyance. "What am I doing ??' You got up and slowly went to your ship.
Ratchet and Clank were close to giving up their search. "Come on, let's head back to the ship" Ratchet said disappointed. It wasn't until he turned around that Clank laid eyes on someone familiar. "Ratchet... They are here"
He never turned around as quickly as he did, Eyes shooting all over until he saw the statue and then you. His heart was pounding as he saw you walk back to your ship. "WAIT !!" He called out.
This time, your ears perked up at the call and your eyes widened as you saw Ratchet slowly approaching. "It's you..."
For a moment, it felt like that time had stopped between you two. Every sound in the city faded between the sound of your heart beating loudly in your ears.
Ratchet took a hesitant step forward, his voice thick, caught in disbelief and hope. "I... I can't believe this. I thought..." His voice cracked as the anxiety crept over him. "I thought I was the only one left..."
"This is no illusion, Ratchet. Nor are they" Clank said quietly, a gentle smile forming.
Ratchet extended a trembling hand, but his smile remained. "I'm... Ratchet and this is Clank" He greeted, waiting for you to do the same.
You looked at the features of Ratchet, this was definitely a Lombax. You were starting to get overwhelmed with all of it. This situation felt too intimate for the middle of the city. Clank noticed how tense you looked and saw the beginning of the nightlife around them.
"Ratchet, perhaps this conversation deserves a bit more privacy"
Ratchet blinked, realising the weight of the situation of what you must be feeling. He glanced around and nodded before returning his gaze to you.
"Yeah, you're right, buddy." He stepped a bit closer to you, keeping his tone steady yet inviting. "We can go and find a quiet spot for us to talk ??"
Before you could answer, your ears perked up at people screaming. Running from the opposite direction as multiple goons 4 less flew in on their jetpacks and began to scatter the area. The unmistakable laugh of Dr Nefarious was heard as he appeared from his ship and lowered to the ground.
"Son of a Qwark..." Ratchet sighed, that was the worst bet possible.
"Ah, Ratchet and Clank. What a wonderful surprise, I didn't expect to see you here..." Nefarious didn't finish his sentence as his optics lay on you, he was in disbelief. "What do we have here ??"
Ratchet quickly stood in front of you as Nefarious approached, gripping onto his Omni-wrench.
"Looks like I've hit the jackpot !!" Nefarious laughed manically as the trio were beginning to be surrounded by the goons.
"Ratchet, we're being surrounded" Clank looked around from behind.
"Don't worry, we got this" He nodded reassuringly as he then lunged at one and whacked him in the face with his wrench. A fight broke out, which then led to one of the goons' weapons being dropped in front of you. A part of you wanted to help, but fight or flight was now the biggest thing stopping you. You slowly began to step away from the weapon, but ended up in the arms of a goon.
"Yo boss, I got the Lombax !!" He called out as he activated his jetpack, bringing you to Nefarious' ship.
“Oh the galaxy is truely spoiling me today” Nefarious laughed as he brought you onto the ship, setting the coordinates back to his base.
Ratchet just finished off the last of the goons before he heard the engines hum to life. “No !!”
You looked around, finding a spare tool and thinked fast, grabbing it and smashing the controls.
“What did you do !!!” Nefarious tried to stop you before the ship started to fly out of control.
Ratchet and clank were confused of what’s going on until they saw the ship crashing towards them.
“I recommend we run !!” Clank cried out as ratchet started moving.
The ship crashed into the ground, destroying the statue of the captain, Ratchet grimaced seeing it topple down.
“He’s not gonna be happy about that”
Nefarious emerged from the rubble and he was angry. “You… you think your little friend could stop me…” *BANG !!*
You swung the tool again to his head, knocking him out cold.
“My, quite impressive” clank complimented.
“That was incredible, you did that !!” Ratchet smiled, making you smile a little, a warm feeling emerged as you stepped down from the ship. “I’m… y/n…”
Whatever this meeting has set, it would be adventurous.

Mild warning for Google translated Korean. Word count:1.5K
Y/n was making the biggest decision of their life, they were about to drop their very first beat onto social media, it was their passion to make music and today... Hopefully people got to see it.
"셋... 둘... 하나..." (Three... two... one...) They pressed the upload button.
Naturally with most first uploads it took it's time to get traction. But you did check every two minutes. But little did you know the same night... Everything will change.
In there studio, Rumi was browsing some beats online so the group could use to gain some inspiration for their next song, after multiple failed ones she eventually stumbled onto yours. She listened to it briefly and bopped her head slightly.
"Hey guys, check this out" She motioned for Mira and Zoey who leaned in, staring at the video.
"Oh! I've never heard of them before" Zoey was feeling the beat.
"Who's... (Dj name) Sounds kinda sick" Mira mused.
"Let me see" Zoey pulled out one of her notebooks and began to rap a verse she had written, it was fitting very well.
Rumi clicked on the profile and frowned slightly. "This is their only video ?? But it sounds so good !!"
"Should we wait or maybe get in touch with them ??" Zoey suggested.
They debated each other, could they go with someone who's only uploaded one thing... But yet again, they might not be able to work with them if someone else snags them up.
"Let's get in touch" Rumi nodded.
She found a social and messaged up, explaining they found your tune and loved it !!
The next morning, you got up to check your phone for any new likes or comments, your eyes going wide as saucers when you saw Huntr/x's name !! You had to check the profile multiple times to see if it was the official one.
"Ok, ok...How do I respond..." You thought to yourself, so you settled down enough to write the best professional email.
The girls were busy with rehearsals that day and they get so many notifications a day, but when Rumi had time to check and see you'd responded, she immediately opened it.
"They're so nice !!" Zoey peeked over her shoulder.
You sheepishly attached another song to the email that you had been working on for weeks. "It's not fully mastered yet... But I think this one fits you all"
They took the time to sit down and listen to it, and it flowed immediately. Zoey was on those beats while Mira was grooving.
Rumi perked up with a thought. "What if we really did a collab ??" She texted you.
"Really ??" You replied, was this actually happening ??!!
"Yeah, we could help get your name out and you can work with us for our new song"
"I... Would love to collaborate with you all" You agreed, a huge smile on your face from the other side of the phone. The girls were happy too, they don't usually collaborate often, it's kind of thrilling.
A couple of days later, you found yourself in the centre of Seoul. Following an address they texted you to a high-rise studio. "Oh boy..." You looked up at how tall the building was.
You entered the building and went to the reception. "Hi... Um... I'm here to see huntr/x ??"
The person looked up at you a little suspiciously. "Do you have an application for the trainee program ??" They get a lot of people.
"No wait, I... I'm a producer..." You tried to clarify.
"It's ok, they're with us" Rumi found you and called out.
"Apologies" The receptionist nodded.
Rumi smiled at you as you walked up to her. "Hi y/n, It's good to finally meet you."
"Thank you... It's good to meet you too" you said as you entered the elevator.
"The others will be really happy to meet you. We've been excited for this, actually. A little change."
As you entered the studio, you were bombarded by an excited Zoey. "Oh my goodness !! Hi !!" She immediately smiled wide. "It's so good to meet you !!"
"Hi..." You chuckled nervously.
"Zoey, easy" Mira reminded her.
"Sorry, sorry, excited." She giggled softly. "I already have a notebook full of verses I think would go great with your music"
You nodded before sitting down and pulling out your laptop, opening up your music program. "I've been brainstorming some ideas as well for the past couple of days" You pressed play on a couple of songs.
The three gathered around, trying not to crowd you as you showed them.
"I like that one" One song capturing Mira's attention.
"Yeah, it's sharp !!" Zoey agreed.
"We can give it a try ??" You offered.
So the girls hopped into the booth as you got the setup started, the recording started and what they produced flowed so effortlessly. You all spent hours, not realising the time. By the time it was finished, it was almost late and Mira was drooping. "I feel like I've been singing for hours"
"Yeah, I think we should call it a night" You agreed, packing up your laptop.
"Thank you for this, we'll find some time tomorrow maybe and finish it up ??" Rumi offered as she walked you to the elevator.
"Yeah, I look forward to it" You nodded.
A month went by and the group had almost 30 songs with your tracks, you also began to warm up with them. The girls were supportive and confident in their group, and you were slowly being integrated into it.
Their new EP has officially been released, and they were getting ready to embark on a tour. But before you could bid them farewell, their manager, Bobby came to you with an offer.
"You... want me to go on tour ??" You said, making sure you heard it correctly.
"It would get you out there and my girls would love to have you along !" He nodded.
You agreed in a rush. Once back to your apartment, the whole tour thing was getting to you. Everything was happening so fast, they went on tour, and it was a big deal every time. More people in one place than you could fathom.
The very first show you did, you got stage fright when you saw the packed-out arena, rushing backstage as you tried to calm yourself.
"I... I can't do this..." The panic setting.
"What's wrong ??' Zoey turned to you.
"There... There are so many..." Your breathing started to pick up a little faster.
"It looks daunting, but we promise you'll be ok" Rumi gently squeezed your shoulder.
"You don't have to do this if you don't want to." Mira reassured and handed you some water.
After a couple of sips, you felt a bit better. "I want to..." You really did.
"We're up there with you" Zoey nodded.
"Bobby will take care of it if it becomes too much" Rumi moved alongside you.
Soon, the lights dimmed in the arena as the crowd cheered for the pre-show. You made your way to the stage as the lights behind you illuminated the crowd.
"My..." You stuttered, Rumi nearby mimicking a deep breath for you to follow. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, the noise drowning out mentally as you began to get into your element.
"My name is (Dj name)" Finally introducing yourself.
The crowd began to cheer louder, you were credited on their latest song, You must be good if they brought you here live.
Huntr/x made there appearance to hype you up. "Give it up for our Dj !!" Rumi cheered.
So you began your set, it felt like you were back in your apartment playing the songs to yourself, but instead... a packed arena could hear it. The crowd was loving what they were hearing and began to jump along to the bass. The girls freestyled alongside the songs as a form of encouragement. The first show was amazing, you smiled as your set ended and the crowd cheered.
"Thank you so much !!' You said to the crowd. "Now get ready for Huntr/x !!" getting the crowd hyped as you moved off stage, seeing them from a VIP access.
As the tour continued, you began to find your footing and grew more confident in your set as you moved on stage. People were starting you recognise you because of social media posts from previous concerts. It was incredible to perform alongside the biggest KPOP group.
By the end of your leg of the tour. The girls were more giddy than they were before. Trying their damnedest not to smile.
"Y/n, We've been discussing something during the tour and... We want you to be in on it" Rumi offered.
"On what ??" You raised an eyebrow.
"We want you to sign on with us !!" Zoey cheered.
You blinked... right here, right now. "You serious ??"
They all nodded quickly. Your eyes swelled with happy tears as you rushed and hugged them tight "Thank you..."
This was easily the best decision you have ever made. Now it was time to work on your debut album.
Hi again, thank you everyone for your patience with my first story. Windows updates are not being kind to me :( But nevertheless, I hope you enjoy. Warnings: Slight angst but ends with fluff. Word count:1.6K
Y/n lived in a tiny village on a small island that was mostly known as a fishing village that sold its stock to bigger islands. However, due to the village's size, it was extremely vulnerable to raids. Normally the people of the island could handle it, but tonight was not the night...
You were just about ready for bed, having helped finish the last load of fish before it was sent off. Your father had been ready to ready you a story of old, that was when you both heard it.
"What was that ??" You looked over at the door.
"Stay here" Your dad got up and went to investigate.
He went outside and didn't come back for a bit. Your anxiety began to pick up as you got out of bed to go and investigate. You could see something off in the distance, boats with their lanterns on. "FIRE !!" You heard off in the distance, fireballs were catapulted into the sky, landing on one of the buildings. Your father rushed back to the house and saw you outside and he made a split second decision.
"Dad, what's going on ??" You said scared.
He nodded you along in front of him. "Follow me, don't look back"
You nodded as the two of you headed back outside, following him. You heard screaming and shouting, weapons clashing against each other, while buildings crumbled to the ground. He didn't let you stop, leading you down near the docks and then sidetracked to a small alcove where his tiny life boat was hidden.
"Get in" He said quietly.
You nodded and carefully hopped in, untying the boat from the dock and you held out a hand for him. Your dad looked at you with a sad and resigned expression. He began to push the boat out to the sea, intending on keeping you safe... no matter what.
"Dad... dad stop !! Hop on !!" You held out a hand again before you heard voices creeping closer to the alcove. He gave the boat one final push as his eyes gleamed with tears.
"Go... Go, and do not let them find you" He said as he turned around and got his weapon ready.
"DAD !!!" You watched helplessly as other Vikings surrounded him. You tried desperately to steer the boat back, but the sail was picked up by the wind. By then, it was too late... Your home... gone within minutes, the smoke and ash and fire consumed it. The sea around you raged from the chaos of the attack, rocking your flimsy little boat. It got rougher and rougher as you progressed, you looked over, and your eyes widened, you were heading straight towards a storm.
"No no no !!!" You quickly got up and tried to steer it out, but the winds got stronger, and the waves made it impossible to steer. As the waters overtook you easily, it began to flood the boat, sinking you down, the cold water nipping at you. You tried to fight for higher ground on the boat, but a big tidal wave knocked you off, sending you down. You fought tooth and nail to break to the surface, but as you were pulled by the current, your head hit a rock, knocking you out.
The water carried you under and somewhere else, way out to sea through deep waters. It spat you out on a beach. A little rocky island, but it was land.
You twitched your eyes as you slowly rose from the sand, rubbing your face, then the back of your head in pain, looking around, you could tell this was unfamiliar territory. Your eyes then fell on your wrecked boat, torn apart by the waves, the only thing left that was at least together was a knife that your dad gave you. Your dad... Your home... your life... It was all gone.
A shadow briefly cast over you from above, no bigger than the sun, and fast. You looked up and your eyes widened in fear hearing a roar.
"Dragon"
You quickly got up, rushing into the forest to hide away from it.
Up above, the dragon was not alone. A Viking was on his back. His name was Hiccup haddock the III, son of Stoick the vast who was the chief of the Isle of berk. The dragon he was riding was named Toothless, the last of the night fury's and he had picked up your scent, determined to follow.
"What is it bud ??" Hiccup gently rubbed his dragon's neck.
Toothless grumbled and looked down toward the treeline, hoping Hiccup would see them. But Hiccup could only see the wrecked boat. "We got to check it out"
Toothless groaned at Hiccup not being able to see what he very obviously could. He zoomed forward along the beach and over the trees. You looked around to find a suitable place to hide, quickly finding refuge behind a boulder, hoping it wouldn't spot you.
Toothless whipped by the overhead and slowed, landing down amongst the trees. He knew where you were, able to smell you, he didn't mean to hurt, only investigate.
You gripped your knife as you heard it move closer and closer to you. Entering fight or flight, you jumped out and began to brandish the knife around. "GET BACK !!"
Toothless spotted the knife and snarled, his pupils sharpening.
"Easy, easy" Hiccup hopped down and stepped forward, Toothless behind him. "No one is going to hurt you, I promise" He raised his hands.
"You one of them ??" You gripped the knife tightly.
"I'm not going to harm you" Hiccup glanced at the knife briefly. "If that's what you're asking. I'm Hiccup, this is berk" He greeted gently.
Your hand slowly started to shake from the anxiety, you just weren't sure if he could be trusted yet. You finally noticed the saddle on the dragon after the adrenaline died down a little bit, your mind racing through so many questions.
Hiccup stayed between you and Toothless, just to show you that he wouldn't rush you. "The boat back there. Is that, is that yours ??"
You slowly nodded as you began to calm down. "I... got caught in a storm"
"I promise you're safe here. My village has food, fresh clothes, whatever you need. Toothless here is friendly as well"
Your hand gripped the knife tightly, but not as hard as before. "How do I know..."
Hiccup slowly approached and reached a gentle hand out to you. "We... ride dragons, They live with us. He won't hurt you" Hiccup reassured once more.
As you sighed, you slowly lowered your arm, putting the knife away.
Hiccups figured he'd best get you clothes and food before he could press any questions. "Come on... There will be warm food in the hall.
"Ok..." So you slowly followed them, limping as you went. Hiccup walked alongside you. While riding would've been faster, he didn't want to make any apparent injury worse. He led you through the bustling village and up to the hall where he got you some food and water. "Here" he presented the cup.
"Thank you" You slowly took the cup and began to guzzle it. The sea water did not do you any favour's, two passerby's saw you guzzling and raised and eyebrow to each other, but toothless was quick to shield you with his wing, looking at you, his pupils softened.
Before Hiccup could ask any questions, the hall doors opened again, who entered was easily the largest man you have possibly seen, he looked around and found Hiccup.
"Ahh, my boy, was wondering if you would make it in time..." Stoick looked over and then saw you, a little beaten up for wear. Hiccup quickly pulled him aside and began to tell him what had happened so far. After a bit, Stoick gently sat down across from you.
"My name is Stoick, I'm the chief of the village" He said softly. "If me and my son could ask, how did you end up here ??"
You slowly thought about it, the memories slowly beginning to come back to that horrible night. "My village... it got raided... they wanted our fish supply. My dad, he..." The memory of him pushing you out flashed before you. You started to cry at the realisation. Hiccup tensed slightly, he wasn't usually good at this. "I'm... I'm so sorry y/n" Toothless whined softly and moved a tiny bit closer to you.
"He saved me" You finally managed to choke out.
Stoick looked at you sympathetically. "I'm sorry that you lost him and your home" He took his helmet off out of respect.
"I don't know what to do..." You wiped your tears away.
Hiccup and Stoick looked at each other and nodded. "I know it's hard to lose family, But, I can help make some room for you here on berk ??" Stoick offered.
"Really ??" You sniffled, looking up at him, greeted to a gentle smile. "Thank you..."
"You are safe here, but you can leave if you choose" He nodded, standing up. "I'll get Gobbler to craft a spare bed, take them to the healers to tend to any injuries" He said to hiccup.
"Got it" He nodded
"Hiccup, was it ??" You turned to him slightly.
"Yeah, yeah that's me. Hiccup" He smiled softly.
"I... I'm y/n" You finally greeted yourself.
"Y/n. It's nice to meet you" he smiled as Toothless walked to him. He smiled at you as well, but you noticed... he didn't have any teeth.
"Didn't he have teeth before ??" You gestured to his gummy smile.
Hiccup looked at Toothless and chuckled. "Retractable teeth, He knows they can be intimidating" He says as he patted the top of his head.
Whatever this new life will bring, It'll be interesting.
Here is a little birthday present for bestie @callofdudes word count:1K
It's been a year since you and Glinda witnessed your friend Glinda defy gravity and fled the Emerald city. Ever since then you and Glinda have been gagged by the Wizard and Madam Morrible to not say a word about her and only mention her by "The wicked witch of the west".
You missed her so much, the memories were the only thing that comforted you, from your first meeting to the unadulterated loathing to the dance and the Ozdust ballroom where you three had connected for the first time since arriving at shiz. You always treasured moments with her like spending time in the library where you would read each other stories... You won't be able to get to do that anymore.
Your birthday was coming up and Glinda was trying to return to some form of normality even though she now has to take up the role of "Glinda the good" thanks to Morrible.
"Y/n... is there a specific cake that you want ??" She tried to beam her usual smile but could see the grief in your eyes.
"I'm ok... thanks Glinda..." You nodded to her before looking back out of the window.
You could hear her yelling out "Chocolate cake" as she waved her wand and did nothing, she did learn magic in the years but they were only limited.
Hoping to clear your head, you got up and put your boots on, maybe the fresh air could clear your mind. "I'm gonna head out for a little bit..."
"Are you sure ?? We're meant to make an appearance soon in Munchkin land" You and Glinda both had to keep up public persona's in the name of the wizard and spread his lies and conspiracies.
You gave her a reassuring look before hugging her. "I promise I'll be back on time"
That fresh air you hoped would clear your memories only amplified them, how you could wish you would go back in time and do all those things again... Helping Elphie learn how to be popular or wanting to be in the hoi polloi when spending one short day in the emerald city. But now all of that was gone... or so you thought, cause something did pop up in your mind when you remembered her flying.
"So if you care to find me, look to the western sky"
She may have flown west from the city, so as you pointed in the direction of the city, you went west. But the journey was a little more difficult than it would be, with the wizards now spies flying across the whole of Oz, not only in finding rebellion animals but also too keep you or Glinda from finding her. Further and further you went out east and she wasn't anywhere in sight... you were now starting to lose hope, how far has she gone... did she still even remember you two ??
In a hideout that she had crafted, Elphaba looked at the drawing that you three had gotten when you were touring the city, tears fell down her face as all she wanted right now was her friends. But with the wizard after her it wasn't possible, she even remembered your birthday, in some form of normality, she took a book from her shelf which was one of your favourites and wrapped it with some string like a bow of ribbon.
"Happy birthday y/n..." She whispered to herself.
But what she or you didn't expect was for your paths to cross again, cause when you were sitting down by a tree crying in grief, she was getting food from her makeshift garden when she then heard faint sobs from further out. Placing her basket down she then went and investigated, her eyes widening softly when she realized who was crying. "Y/n..."
You turned and sniffled, wiping your teary eyes to see her... she was... alive and well... "Elphie..."
You both ran into each other's embrace, hugging each other so tightly as if you would both turn into dust if either of you let go, more tears fell from both of you as the relief washed over.
"I thought you were gone..."
"Shhh it's ok... I'm here" she gently wiped your tears as she then brought you to her hideout, out of site from the spies.
"What's been... happening ??" She asked hesitantly.
You sighed as you looked at her. "They both gagged us from mentioning your name. Glinda has taken up as the wizard's spokesperson as "Glinda the good" and he's been having me find ways from keeping the animals from escaping..."
This made her blood boil... as if she wasn't mad at him already. She then gently kneeled in front of you and took your hand gently. "I promise y/n... I will stop him" You could see the determination in her eyes... It was a sort of reassurance that made you say everything is going to be ok.
She perked up when she remembered... "Wait right here" She got up quickly and tried to find the book she wrapped. Once finding it, she then came back and presented it to you with a soft smile. "Happy birthday..."
You looked at it with such fondness as you untied the bow. "Thank you Elphaba... thank you..." You got up and hugged her again to which she happily returned it.
But you then remembered you had to go back to the city to help Glinda with the statement, Elphaba could see the look on your face.
"You have to go..." She whispered sadly, knowing clearly.
But as you began to walk out the door...
"Unlimited... together we're... unlimited" She sang softly.
You chuckled softly as you looked at her with soft sad eyes "Together we'll be the greatest team that's ever been" You sang back.
"It's not goodbye Elphie... It's just farewell for now" You spoke before continuing on.
Seeing her again lifted you up, filling you with the determination to join her on the journey of taking down the wizard... maybe it'll be your turn to defy gravity soon.
A/N: Please bare with me on this one as this is the first time that I've written in a while and the first time writing anything wicked 😰😰
Why am I so obsessed with Fins and Fangs (steb x scar) Like, it was a sudden onset. I saw an edit on my tiktok fyp, and I immediately screamed, "YES!" Like, calm down, baby, it's not that serious.
I think it's just bc of the bridge scene in Act 3 where they acknowledged each other, and they are just so cool, I want more of them.
Might write a little fic about them post-battle or in my canon divergence au, idk
No, because what do you mean Arcane has completely rewritten the rulebook on queer representation in media, and it did it so effortlessly that it puts so many other shows to shame. Like, how are you going to tell me this animated series—ostensibly a spin-off of a video game—has given us some of the most nuanced, unapologetically powerful sapphic characters ever without reducing them to stereotypes, side plots, or, worse, trauma porn?
Vi and Caitlyn? Their dynamic is ELECTRIC. You’ve got Vi, the rough-edged, fiercely loyal, scrappy brawler with a tender side that could wreck anyone emotionally, and Caitlyn, the sharp, principled, deeply empathetic enforcer with a heart of gold. The way their relationship is built on mutual respect and trust while navigating all the insane, tragic chaos around them? Literal chef's kiss. And not once do we get the tired, lazy "coming out" narrative or the "but what about the gays?" rhetoric. Their queerness isn’t the story—it’s just a beautifully natural part of who they are. And THAT is revolutionary.
And let’s not even stop there. This show handles gender like it’s been waiting for everyone else to catch up. Characters like Sevika, who could give you chills with her sheer badassery and gender-nonconforming energy, exist unapologetically without the narrative ever feeling the need to spoon-feed us explanations. It’s just there, woven seamlessly into the fabric of the world.
So many shows claim to want to "normalize" queer relationships or push the envelope, but Arcane has quietly dominated the space by just writing characters who feel authentic. Their struggles are about class, power, loyalty, trauma, not token representation or forced diversity. This show said, “We’re just going to make some of the most layered, compelling characters you’ve ever seen—and oh yeah, some of them are gay. Keep up.”
Like, the bar wasn’t just raised—it was launched into the stratosphere. What do you mean this level of representation isn’t the norm yet? Arcane said, “We’re not asking for permission to exist. We’re just existing.” And that? That is art.
Anybody else ever think about how Gaz would've hated both Soap and Ghost when the 141 was formed? I do. Let's talk about it.
Gaz used to be a member of the Military Police. His job would've involved- among many other things- security, recon, detention, corrections, law-enforcement, and counter-terrorism (woah, that's how he met Price and got kidnapped requisitioned for Price's mission) He would've been trained in things like interrogation and investigation. He's shown to have a strong sense of justice and a resistance towards doing things that are morally wrong. Watching him struggle with some of Price's decisions in MW1 is honestly worth watching a playthrough or playing the game, it's great. Price does some horrendous shit, and you can see that it doesn't sit right with Gaz, even though he knows it has to be done.
So why would he have hated Ghoap? Well...
Soap is known to have a quick temper and a problem with authority. Soap absolutely would've had to deal with MP's after attacking a superior officer, and based on his in game behavior its honestly a surprise that man only had the one run in that we know of. He's constantly questioning orders and has a tendency to push his CO's. For a man like Gaz, who has previously been the one to have to uphold order and even punish soldiers for getting out of line, Soap's personality must've grated on his nerves so fucking bad. Probably drove him up a wall.
'But what about Ghost?' You may be wondering, 'Ghost is a good soldier who follows orders' yeah, true, but also, Ghost is a mystery. His name isn't even included in his file.
Side note: Originally I was only gonna get a screenshot to show that his name is redacted, but then I realized that for the first 3 missions Ghost had 3 different photos, of the exact outfit he wore for that mission. Can we just appreciate this fucking diva? Like they don't have his name on file, but they do have a picture of each of his silly little outfits so they can have a proper match for their debrief.
Anyway. For Gaz, a man who is trained in investigation, it must feel wrong not to know anything about your coworker. It must be frustrating to know no matter how much you dig, you'll never know anything about him. Soap and Price call him Simon at different points in the game, so Gaz must've learned it too, but nothing else? I don't think it's a leap to assume he at first found Ghost hard to trust.
Now, obviously, they're a tight knit group, even friends. But I don't think it would've been quick, or easy, or especially not instantaneous like a lot of us write the friendship between Soap and Gaz.
Cw: Obsession, Dissociation, trauma, he's just a tad misunderstood, reader is held hostage.

You had moved to Manchester for many reasons. A better job, a better life, and most importantly, to get away from your family. You wanted nothing to do with them. You could no longer take the abuse and the hell that they put you through.
Manchester was far enough away they wouldn't think to come find you. Even if they cared, which you doubt they did.
This was a chance for new life, to start over fresh. Admittedly, being new to this whole new rush was a lot to handle. Manchester was not as desolate as your previous residence so it was definitely strange.
You got an apartment just twenty minutes from your work that you picked up at a local coffee shop. Life was turning out for your favor as you tried to be your own person.
You woke up each day and headed to work, walking in to the sound of the small bell and greeting your coworkers.
"Hello y/n." One of them greeted you with a smile.
"Hiya, how are you doing?" You asked, getting your apron.
"Pretty good. We're a bit busy today, I'm glad you're here." He said.
"Oh, I can imagine." You moved toward the end of the large counter, cleaning a small mess and watching out the window as the world passed by. Seeing all the people and the cars flowing down the roads and sidewalks. It was a calming thing you could focus on. Something you could rely on to be consistent.
Well, almost.
Since getting your new job you couldn't help feeling like you were being watched. Possibly just a side effect of moving to a new place and still settling in. Still unsure of the people and destinations. It would go away eventually when you were sure this was home.
Sat in the corner, a dark mass of black hoodie and covered facial features sat a rather large man. Drinking tea quietly. You've noticed him a few times. In the hustle and bustle of the small shop sometimes even his huge figure got lost in the deafening sounds of patrons. While he barely moved, barely made a sound.
He was a regular. You didn't know his name. He didn't bother talking to anyone and no one talked to him. Though it seemed that everyone knew him. The other employees seemed to be afraid of him. One way or another he intimidated people, but hell what did you know?
Over the next few weeks, you only felt that sickening paranoia grow. Even if you were settling, it made your skin crawl. Feeling eyes on you at all times. Leading to you closing the windows and blinds of your apartment and constantly checking the door lock. The hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you watch TV.
You tried to move the couch back against the wall in hopes it would make you feel grounded. But it didn't help much.
This is what you get for moving, you thought to yourself.
There was no way someone could've followed you, right? You were sure that none of your family had a clue where you went. Hell, they probably wouldn't want to. So what the fuck was this?
You sat there, trying to shake the feeling, to forget about it. You needed to sleep, not freak out over the possibilities of what could happen.
But you weren't wrong. You weren't alone. Someone was watching you. Their little obsession starting to simmer. They had seen you around, they had their eyes on you. Watching you at work, to getting in your car and heading to your apartment. Watching, keeping an eye on you as the obsession inside their veins coiled until it was suffocating with tension.
He watched you. He always did. He didn't like how close you were to your friends or how friendly you were to strangers. Such a foolish one. But he would keep watch over you. He could always hear the conversations you had with a close coworker about how you even ended up in Manchester. Your parents were abusive, and controlling and never accepted the parts of you they didn't like.
He understood. That's why he looked out for you. He felt a kinship of sorts. You were younger than him and had escaped from that abuse on your terms. But this world is a sickening place.
You should know that by now, don't you?
"Why do you look at him so much?" A coworker asked you. You nearly jumped out of your skin.
"Huh?"
Your coworkers nodded off to the corner where the man sat alone as usual, slowly drinking his tea so it would last the length of your shift. Sometimes he'd stay late if you did, knowing you were too kind to refuse to take up extra work for the money. He couldn't let you stay too long out here alone. No, no it couldn't happen.
You shrugged, looking at your coworker. "I was just thinking, not looking."
Your co-worker looking at you for a long moment before shrugging and going to help someone. When you looked back, your gazes met. You were a little startled to feel the intensity of his gaze on you. His eyes brewing into your soul, ensnared by you just standing there. He needed to watch you.
He was watching you more and more frequently. You'd feel his gaze and the hairs on the back of your neck would rise, sending a chill through you.
What the fuck is wrong with you?
By the 5:00 mark, you and only a few other people were still in the shop. You yawned, deciding to clock out, having been there since twelve. You said goodbye to the remaining staff, grabbing your bag and coat. Dark eyes followed you as you slid out from behind the counter and headed out of the shop.
No less than two minutes had passed before the man in the corner stood, throwing out his long empty drink and slipping out the door after you.
The man followed close behind, staying back and not alerting you. You were too distracted, tired, and ready to just fall into bed.
You could've sworn the man was following you, you had a feeling that you'd felt since the beginning. Eventually looking back and spotting him. Of all the times to leave... Your heartbeat picked up in your chest, quickly walked to your car at the far end of the parking lot, and got in, locking the doors. But the man wasn't in obvious sight. So you left. And quickly.
You made it home, walking inside the building hurriedly and up to your apartment. Doing a double take before going inside. That same feeling still stuck with you. You headed to the window and pulled the blinds closed. Pulling out your phone to call a co-worker.
"Hey Y/n, what's up?"
"I think someone is stalking me..."
"What?" They asked. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure, I saw it... Can you stay over tonight??" You looked out the window again quickly, scanning the parking lot and finding no one. Were you seriously just paranoid?
Each moment waiting for them felt too tense.
You watched from the window until you saw your coworker's car pull up. Checking the peephole and inviting them in. "F/n..."
"Hey, calm down. Let's watch a movie and talk about this." They smiled, trying to cheer you up.
You both curled up on the couch and watched a movie. Though you were still on edge.
"Hey, it'll be ok. I'm sure it'll be ok." They squeezed your shoulder and tried to make you feel better. But your face only grew grimmer than before. You squeezed their hand back, looking away from the film to the window. Closed off by thick curtains, being still they didnèt make you feel better. You felt like his eyes were still on you. Stalking and looking deep inside you.
After the movie ended, you asked f/n if they could stay. "I just don't feel like being alone right now."
"Ok, I can stay." They nodded, which set you at ease slightly.
You brought them to the spare bedroom and set them up in there. You laid out the old blankets and regrettably left the room.
"Goodnight Y/n." They called softly as they turned out their nightlight.
"Yeah... Goodnight.." You felt like with F/n acting so easy about the situation you were just paranoid. You were seeing and hearing things. They had told you it was just you getting used to the place. No one ever feels at home in their house for the first little bit. You sighed, pulling the blanket tight and closing your fist against your chest. You closed your eyes and let the darkness of your room take over. Slowly lulling you to sleep and pulling you into a sense of security.
He walked into the parking lot, thumb rubbing over the sheath of his blade, walking toward the sidewalk. He frowned softly, seeing the car parked next to yours. He looked at the license plate and the contents of the items in the car. He pulled out his blade and dragged it along the side of the car, digging it angrily into the metal.
He walked up to the building and walked inside, jamming the lock to the second door and pressing the elevator button. His stomach swam with exhilarating emotions as he went up to your floor. The light reflected the buttons of the floors off his pupils. His pupils expanded in pure excitement and anger all knotted deep within him.
He walked down the carpeted hallway. His heart throbbed inside his chest, reaching your room. He saw the number of the door, running his finger over the peephole.
From his sweater he pulled out some tools, sliding them slowly into the door handle.
Inside the door, you stirred slightly but stayed asleep.
His tongue poked out between his teeth, working the lock quietly. He could hear the clinks of the tumblers. He could smell your cologne in the hall, your perfume, everything. He wanted to taste your skin, he wanted to feel the life flow through your body.
The lock clicked, and the handle turned, the door pushed open slowly.
He walked in, the light coming in from the streetlights illuminated the living room enough that he could navigate. He walked quietly past the living room. Spotting photos on the wall. He looked at pictures of you with old friends from your homeland. Your smile when in the presence of others.
He frowned, moving forward and seeing the door of the bedroom. He walked slowly and silently. Listening closely to the sound of your breathing, the rustling of sheets. The bed frame squeaked quietly. His pupils dilated as he pushed the door open slightly and walked inside, looking down at where you slept. He walked over, slowing his breath and squatting down in front of you. Seeing your relaxed face. Your hair was messy and your clothes haphazardly discarded on the floor. He saw the trinkets on your nightstand and an old glass of water from earlier.
He slowly stood and inspected further into the room, looking at the posters on your walls. So this was who you were.
He looked back at you and walked over, gently reaching his hand out, running his fingers across your cheek, down to your jaw, and stopping at your chin. He gripped the flesh slightly.
The softness of your skin made him shiver, his stomach coiled and twisted. He didn't have any foul intentions, but something about finally getting within contact range of you fucked with his mind. He breathed heavier, gently fixing your hair, rather lovingly. He smiled softly as he watched you like you meant the entire world.
And you did.
You were the reason for everything.
He could never let you go, never leave you. He needed you.
He had to watch over you and protect you.
He gently stroked your cheek, until he heard the hallway floorboards creak. Footsteps patterned across the ground to the bathroom, flicking the light on and turning on the light. His eyes widened a little. He looked down at you and sadly pulled his hand away. He stood and walked back to the door. He listened until he heard the footsteps move back across the hallway and he slipped out.
He didn't want to leave you.
But he needed to.
He closed the door slowly and locked it. Before heading back down the hallway.
You groaned, rolling over and burying your head into the pillow. Your heart pounded in your chest and you looked at the door. Tears filled your eyes. You'd felt his hand on your face. You'd felt his breath brush against your face. Your hands trembled as you tried to keep quiet. You were unable to fall back asleep until the sunlight peaked through your curtains. Your clock for work went off and you rigidly sat up.
You looked over to your nightstand where your keys stayed. You saw one of your keychains missing from it. Your hands trembled as you picked it up, seeing the missing key ring.
How had someone come in and taken it? How did they get inside the building? You stood and walked to the living room, checking the lock. It was jammed and didn't want to work. This only confirmed your horrific suspicions If you had moved in that last moment he was in your house who knows what he could have done. You stood there until your coworker came out, their footsteps made you jump and turn to see them. "F-F/n.."
"Hey, everything ok?" They came over and noticed you fiddling with your keys.
"Hey, relax." They took your hand and led you to the couch. They rubbed your back and looked at your fidgety hands.
"He was here..." You whisper and look at them.
"What? No one was here last night except me."
"No... F/n, he was here. He- he took-" You tried to show them the keychain but the adrenaline and panic made you unable to speak. You dropped your head and took a shaky breath. "I'm calling in."
"Yeah, I'll call in for you. Just relax. We can stay here, or go back to my place." They offered, and you nodded.
"I'm gonna go get changed." You said, going to your room and changing. You took a deep, rubbing your head and trying to calm yourself down. Your hands were clamping and you couldn't get yourself straight. Knowing that he had gotten into your house. He hadn't stolen, he was staring at you. It was like you could feel the intense gaze he gave you burning into you. He only wanted you. And for what?
You tried to get your head in straight and headed for the door. Your heart pounded when you opened it, seeing someone at the door.
"F/n-"
And then your brain caught up with you. F/n was just on the phone with you, they did not get here that quickly. And that was not F/n.
You tried to shut the door, but he already had his hand inside. He had come back from getting you breakfast and he didn't expect you to be up yet. He forced the door open effortlessly and looked down at you.
"Get out!" You managed to cry turning away from the door and running for your room. His gait was bigger than yours, and he managed to catch you before you could get anywhere close to your room.
"Don't!! I'll scream-" His hand clasped around your mouth and he held you gently, but tight enough to keep you still.
"Shush." He brought you somewhere comfortable and dropped you there. "You can't do that."
He knew he was doing the right thing. He couldn't let you get hurt, he couldn't. He grabbed some zip ties from his pocket and got your wrists tightly. You squirmed, biting your tongue and attempting to kick him. "Let me go!!"
"I said shush." He adjusted himself and then sat you up. He gently fluffed your pillow and grabbed the mace from your bedside table.
"Stay. Good." He smiled softly. Now you'll be safe. You won't get hurt, not like he did. He won't let family hurt you, he won't let friends hurt you, and nothing will get in his way...
He'll deal with all your friends later.
He closed your bedroom door and placed a chair underneath. Leaving you in there with your own thoughts, unsure what to do...
(Not me accidentally pushing the post button while rushing. That's a Whoopsie... Might do a part 2, on top of serial killer Simon!)
