A Voice from Gaza: Holding on to Hope
Hi, my name is Dina, and I’m from Gaza. I volunteer to help my people in Gaz🍉
Life here has become harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing our story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us strength to carry on.
The war has taken 10 members of my family , including my grandmother and two of my aunts💔 Their absence is a wound that never heals, and every day my mother carries the pain of this loss🥺 For the past two years, since my father went to Egypt for medical treatment, she has been both a mother & a father to us
The burden is so heavy that she has already suffered three strokes from the constant pressure, grief, and endless worry about our future💔
I wish I could heal your wounds, Mom🥺🫂
Our Journey So Far Your support has been a light in these dark times, and we are deeply grateful for every single act of kindness. But the road ahead is still so heavy. Each day, we are reminded of how much we have lost, and how much we still need just to survive.
But the road ahead is still heavy Each day we are reminded of how much we’ve lost, and how much we still need to survive and rebuild☹️
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for us right now:
🕊Safety: Yesterday, bombs fell near our home, and we were told to leave.
🫂Loss: We’ve lost 10 family members, and my father is stuck in Egypt.
💔Exhaustion:My mother carries the weight of everything, grief, worry, and survival. She’s had three strokes but still fights for us every day.
😞Dreams on Hold: Survival takes all our strength, leaving little space for hope.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness makes a difference.
$5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a piece of bread, a short moment of relief, a reminder that kindness still exists❤️🩹🫂
🟢If you cannot donate, please share our story—every reblog, every share, helps us reach someone who can.
